FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • Stacey enters the apartment singing her mangled version of "Love Is All Around" and throwing her hat in the air a la the opening of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, but the hat is never seen coming back down.

  • Quotes

    • Amanda: ...loganberries are stupid berries. It would be a stupid muffin and I'm not making them.
Ned: Loganberries are not stupid berries. OK? As a young boy, I used to run naked through the loganberry patch...smearing its...delectable juices all across my hairless...pre-pubescent body.
Amanda: Oh, wow! Ok, not only am I not making loganberry muffins, but now I'm gonna wake up screaming for the rest of my life!

    • Ned: Whaddaya need, buddy?
Eric: It's about this stupid promotion they gave me--acting assistant to the accounting co-manager--turns out it's just a fancy title to get me to do their dirty work!
Ned: Hey, with a lateral move comes extra responsibility.

    • Ned (Shouting on the street as he leaves the muffin shop): Get your muffins here! All nude muffins!

    • Amanda: Stacey, I thought you were gonna be helping me today.
Stacey: I am! I am! I'm sitting at that table over there writing. And I'm inviting a bunch of my friends from the airline magazine to come over and do their work, too, I mean, I am giving this place a sort of literary, bohemian atmosphere.
Amanda: Any interest in giving the bathroom a kind of clean, non-uriney atmosphere?

  • Notes

    • The end credit sequence features a specially filmed scene with Ned narrating a video of himself as a boy running naked through a loganberry patch (unseen by the viewer!) as Stacey, Eric and Amanda watch in horror.

    • Ned mentions his father for one of the few times on the series, referring to him as "Assemblyman Dorsey."

    • The episode's title is a take-off on Logan's Run, a 1976 science-fiction movie starring Michael York and Jenny Agutter.
