  In the manga, Setsuna reveals her true form in the big battle against the water demon. Also, the outfit that Setsuna wears in her armor form is based on the traditional outfit of the bird tribe that Setsuna is a member of in the manga.

  The opening theme for this episode is "1000% SPARKING" and was sung by Hazuki Tanaka (Fei Ku), Yui Horie (Makie Sasaki) and Junko Minagawa (Ayaka Yukihiro). The animation remains the same from the previous episode.

- While Negi is explaining to Chamo that it is impossible to be transported from Japan to Wales in an instant through magic, the background show the arcade mode of the 'Select A Character' screen similar to the popular video game series, Street Fighter II Champion Edition or Turbo edition, including a 2x6 character grid and a few recognizable folks like the masked Vega. Instead of a plane moving from Japan to England, it is Negi riding a dragon.
