        (touches the string phone)
        Setsuna: The sound went away!
Konoka: Secchan, this is the door. (Motsu and Setsuna are shocked) If the door's on the string you won't be able to hear anything!
Setsuna: (surprised) A... A BLIND SPOT!
        Konoka: Secchan, you're silly.

      • Sayo: It gets pretty lonely, but you can't do much about it when no one can see you. Negi-sensei... (turns and looks at viewer) But you can see me, can't you?
        (Screen moves up and down)
        Narrator: Of course!

      • Setsuna: Asuna-san, um... we don't have to wear these clothes as Chupa Team members, do we?
Asuna: Eh? What're you talking about? That's why I made them in the first place! We gotta wear it everyday!
Setsuna: I will not wear it. (Setsuna draws her katana) And I refuse to see Ojou-sama wear it, either!
Konoka: (puts on a t-shirt) Awww, this is awesome! Secchan, try one on!

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • During the beginning of the episode, a dormitory is shown on the title card, which bears a resemblance of the one used in Ken Akamatsu's previous work, Love Hina.

      • The Legend of Sayo
The scenes when Sayo wanders from dorm room to dorm room in a nearly top-down sprites view resemble the early The Legend of Zelda games, including the game sounds, status bars and a dungeon map. In one of the rooms, a black Triforce can even be seen in one of the rooms.
