Ritsuko begins running a series of diagnostics on the three MAGI supercomputers: MELCHIOR, BALTHASAR, and CASPER. She then tests the three children's output inside simulation Evas. Ritsuko decided that it was time the technology for the Evangelions should change, but when that was occuring, the 11th angel attacks in the form of a virus. It enters the Magi system of NERV that they rely so much on. The system would have self destructed if it weren't for Ritsuko's skills. In the process, we discover what the Magi system truly is. There are three systems in total, and they're all rooted with Ritsuko's mother in special ways. One of the system represents Ritsuko's mother as a mother, another as a women, and another as a scientist. I don't know how to explain it, but I found this episode to be really great. It's kind of disgusting seeing Ritsuko's mom's brain implemented with the Magi system, but makes things spicy as well.moreless
