    In this episode, some floating diamond that I really don't know much about is hurting anything that comes near it and is digging a hole in the ground to get to the underground.. place I guess is what it's called. I don't know much about this because I was taking a shower between the episode and lost track.

    I do have to say that this episode was very wonderful, and sad. You will find your heart bursting near the end. For me, I laughed because it was an awkward moment, but I also found it very rewarding and worth to watch the episode. Evangelion is a great anime series that you have to watch, and so is this episode.moreless

    Misato immediately called the order to retrieve EVA 01 before it was completely destroyed by the plasma beam. It was only a matter of hours until the Angel fully drilled through the Geofront. The brilliant Misato decides to use a position rifle, seeing as the Angel attacks all those within its radius. But in order for her plan to be successful, she requests the power of all of Japan! However, the problem was preventing the Angel from destroying the EVA. Luckily, with two Evangelions, they were able to formulate a plan of having Rei using a large shield to cover Shinji, allowing for a clean shot. Right as the Angel finally destroyed the last plate of armour, Rei and Shinji had already defeated it.

    This is the first episode in Neon Genesis that I liked because of its fighting. After Shinji and his Evangelion barely make it alive, it seemed like there was little hope for NERV and their little headquarters. Unexpectadly, they've came up with an awesome plan that actually worked! What's even more rewarding is after they've beaten it, Rei asks Shinji what she should do in such a situation. Shinji suggests her to smile, and to see her do so is awkward, yet pleasing. We get to see more of Rei's personality, especially after asking how to react in a situation like the one she was in. Who is Rei? What's her origins? These were the questions that immediately got me hooked to the rest of the series.moreless
