    This was kinda cool. We got to see a small recap of the Angel battles that has occurred until now, except the most recent one; the battle with the 11th Angel, because Gendo wanted to hide it from those SEELE dudes. Well, it was fun to see the battles again, it really was. And after that, there was a test in which Shinji and Rei would pilot the other's Eva Unit to see if they could pilot it. SHinji somehow did not do it so well, and he had a strange expeience inside of the Eva Unit 00. The Eva Unit went bersderk, and was shut down in time. This hurt Shinji, so he was sent to a hospital, where he would make a comment about the ceiling again. And, Gendo had a small talk with Fuyutsuki. I just get the feeling that he is planning something not good...

    This is pretty much a recap episode of all the events that happened before; from the first angel attack to the latest. Soon after, Gendou is in a heated discussion with what happened regarding the Virus Angel that nearly destroyed the Magi system. The human complement project was also brought up after NERV finally rids the earth from all the Angels.

    There's nothing special about this episode, at least not as special the ones before it. In other shows, this could be the series classic, but the retelling of the previous Angel attacks consumed too much time and should have been shortened.moreless
