Comedy on the Road ran for four seasons on the A&E network in the early 90s. The show was similar to A&E's Evening at the Improv, showcasing working comics from all over the country. However, rather than taping at the Improv in Los Angeles, the show was taped at various comedy clubs across the country and all episodes were MC'd by John Byner, who won a Cable Ace award for his hosting duties. Some of the comedy clubs featured were the Last Laugh in Phoenix and San Jose, Laffs in Albuquerque, the Riviera in Las Vegas, Spellbinders in Houston, the Funny Bones in St. Louis and other cities, the Punchlines in Atlanta and other cities, the Icehouse in Pasadena, and numerous other venues.moreless

The Sandra Bernhard Experience is a 2001 American talk show television series hosted by raucous comedian Sandra Bernhard. Well known for her scathing rants against society and pop culture, as well as her tendency to burst into song at any moment, Bernhard brings the same no-holds barred attitude to her talk show. Discarding the traditional talk show format of filming in front of a studio audience, The Sandra Bernhard Experience is a minimalistic show, featuring Bernhard; her sidekick, former journalist Sara Switzer; and a piano player, Mitch "Mitchy" Kaplan. Mitchy often accompanies Sandra as she randomly bursts into song, and opens and closes each episode with a singing number. Guests such as Nora Burns, Boy George, Michele Lee, and Paul Mooney, sit down with Sandra to talk about their lives, but mostly to chat about whatever topic strikes Sandra's fancy. Interviews meander with all of Sandra Bernhard's usual laidback style. Just as she always has, Sandra never holds back, or is afraid of touching on taboo subjects. moreless

The Dragon Knights are a group of vigilante hardsuit pilots operating in the Cascadia Metropolitan Alliance. They are co-led by group founder Alisa Thomas and D. MacGrady. As Sylia Stingray encouraged and helped organize many of the new Hardsuit groups operating throughout the world, the Dragon Knights have limited contact with the Knight Sabers of MegaTokyo and all the other groups. Each group, however, operates independently and secrecy between the groups is essential. Only the leaders of each group may know the true identities of the other leaders, but disclosure is optional. The only tie that binds the leaders of each group is the trust of Dr. Katsuhito Stingray, designer of both Boomer and Hardsuit technologies.moreless
