Are You Hot? The Search for America's Sexiest People featured America's newest sex symbols (or so they hoped) putting nothing but themselves on display. This reality series was from the producers of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. "This show is based on the nation's obsession with rating the looks of people," says co-executive producer Scott Einziger. Which means the contestants will be judged---in bathing suits---only on face, body and overall sexiness. The field of regional contests over the first four weeks is narrowed to eight men and eight women for the semifinals. A celebrity-judge panel consisting of a supermodel, a fashion designer and a "tough guy" actor make the preliminary choices, but the winners are chosen in an online viewer poll. ABC really thought this show would be a hit but it was killed by CBS' CSI and NBC's Will and Grace. Are you Hot also aired on City TV in Canada.moreless
