God Is Coming... Paul Callan (Skeet Ulrich, Scream) is an investigator of modern miracles. While consistently disappointing hopeful believers by finding simple explanations for "miraculous phenomena", Paul finds his own faith sorely tested. Then something happens. While investigating Tommy Ferguson, a young boy with the power to heal, Paul is given a new lease on life, literally. An accident puts Paul near death, and Tommy uses his power to save him – but Tommy pays for this miracle with his life. Just before this happens, they both see the words "God Is Now Here" written in Paul's blood. When Paul's superiors refuse to acknowledge that a genuine miracle has occurred, Paul resigns his position and tries to understand what has happened to him. He is approached by Alva Keel (Angus Macfadyen), a former Harvard professor and current investigator of the paranormal. Alva confides in Paul that there is a rapidly growing number of "strange occurrences" happening all over the world, which may point to an impending, frightening, and deadly "large event". Believing that Alva may have the answer to his vision in blood, Paul agrees to join forces. Former police officer, Evelyn Santos (Marisa Ramirez) rounds out the team that calls itself Sodalitas Quaerito. They work to uncover the unexplained, and try to find a solution to the coming "darkness"…before it's too late. Miracles premiered as part of ABC's 2002-2003 midseason, after having received tons of praise from critics all across the country. The show is beautifully written, more captivating than FOX's hit paranormal drama, The X-Files. The show immediately gathered a large and very dedicated fan base, which was impressive for a new series, especially on ABC. However, the show was constantly being pre-empted, along with its Monday night sister show Veritas: The Quest, due to the war in Iraq, and ABC finally canceled the show after only showing six episodes out of the thirteen-episode first season. As soon as the fans heard that ABC had canceled the show, dozens of "Save Miracles" sites began popping up on the web. Now, over a year after the show's ending, fans are still fighting strong to get Miracles back, and to prove that miracles really do happen.moreless

Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo is the 1979 update of the classic Scooby-Doo character. This was the fourth Scooby-Doo cartoon to date and introduced the world to Scrappy-Doo, Scooby's puppy nephew. Despite being related, Scrappy-Doo was not much like his uncle, Scooby. Situations that would normally cause Scooby-Doo to react in frozen terror would result in Scrappy-Doo putting up his paws and shouting "Lemme at 'em! I'll splat 'em!". Due to his small size and hot temper, Scrappy-Doo would often be in physical danger, forcing Scooby-Doo and Shaggy to reluctantly save him. Scooby, Scrappy, and the rest of Mystery, Inc. were still out solving mysteries. In this series they encounter some truly out-of-this-world characters including the UFO Weirdo, Aztec Acapulco Sea Creature, Sky Skeleton, Devil Bear, and Snake Demon of Haiti. The Unusuals is described as a crime procedural dramedy set in modern-day New York City. Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, as in the morning Casey Shraeger, a vice detective, is assigned to work undercover as a hooker by the Lincoln Tunnel and later finds herself a part of the homicide squad. As Casey gets to know her new co-workers, she discovers that each one has their own quirks, not to mention, their own secrets. Det. Walsh is a loyal and brilliant officer whose partner was just gunned down. Det. Delahoy has a brain tumor along with a death wish while his partner Det. Banks, who wears a bullet-proof vest to sleep, fears he won't make it past 42 years old. Det. Cole is very religious but seems to have a shady past, and his partner Det. Beaumont is a tough female cop amongst the male-dominated precinct. Det. Alvarez talks about himself in the third person and is often the object of his colleagues' pranks. Casey herself has her own secrets as she was born into one of the richest families in New York City and doesn't want anyone to know about it. The Unusuals, described by some as "a modern-day M*A*S*H", was created by Noah Hawley and is produced by Denis Leary, Peter Tolan, and Jim Serpico, executive producer of FX's Rescue Me. ABC has picked up The Unusuals for mid-season 2008/2009 with an initial season order of 10 episodes. Due to not-so-great ratings, ABC opted not to renew the series for a second season.moreless

    ABC (ended 2004)
From Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, one of television's most successful creators and architect of the long-running Law & Order franchise, comes this modern-day take on the classic police drama. Filmed on locations throughout Los Angeles, this updated version of Dragnet features a group of detectives in the LAPD Robbery/Homicide Squad investigating crimes that could only take place in Los Angeles, one of the world's most glamorous and intriguing cities.

Within this incredibly diverse landscape, these dedicated cops are relentless when it comes to solving crime. Lieutenant Joe Friday (Ed O'Neill) is a seasoned veteran who has seen it all. Through his voiceovers, viewers will gain insight into the crime investigation process, as well as hear the honest thoughts of a 21st century cop. Although a veteran of the beat, Friday still has the same passion and energy as his younger charges.

Dragnet will draw storylines from L.A.'s rich crime history, as well as today's headlines. Against the backdrop of economically and culturally diverse neighborhoods, the detectives come up against a group fo criminals who are just as diverse, from diamond thieves and Hollywood movie moguls to street gangs, copycat serial killers, international terrorists and kidnappers.

Adding a contemporary look to the show is the introduction of a radio-controlled miniature helicopter known as the Flying-Cam, which will provide panoramic views from never-before-seen angles of L.A.'s many neighborhoods. In addition, video technology will also feature prominently in a number of episodes, reflecting society's obsession with the "big brother" world of present day security.

Dragnet began in 1949 as a radio drama, then moved to television in 1952, running for seven years in its initial incarnation. It resurfaced in 1967 for three more years, starring Jack Webb as the no-nonsense, "just the facts, ma'am" LAPD Sergeant.moreless

Primetime: Crime is an american real crime television show on the ABC network. It began in 1989 with the original title of 'Primetime Live' with the hosts Sam Donaldson and Diane Sawyer. Early episodes featured a live audience allowing interaction. This created many technical difficulties and timing issues so the live audience was eventually removed from the show. As the show went on it grew to incorporate many hidden camera investigations. This has occasionally back-fired such as when 'Food Lion' sued the show for trespass and breach of loyalty. In 1998 the show was cancelled and combined it into '20/20.' It was programmed to compete with 'Dateline' on NBC. However in 2000 it was relaunched, becoming 'Primetime Thursday' with Charles Gibson. This lasted until 2004 when it was once again called 'Primetime Live.' From 2006 on it stopped being a weekly show and started airing in the summer as well as being used as filler programing during the 10 pm time slot. Current formats include 'Primetime: What would you do?' 'Primetime: Medical Mysteries,' 'Primetime: The Outsiders,' 'Primetime: Family Secrets,' and 'Primetime: Crime.'moreless

"She's dead. Wrapped in plastic." Date: Friday, February 24, 1989: Homecoming Queen Laura Palmer is found dead, washed up on a riverbank, wrapped in plastic sheeting. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is called in to investigate the murder of this young woman in the small, Northwestern town of Twin Peaks. What he doesn't know is that in Twin Peaks, no one is innocent.

Twin Peaks was created by TV veteran Mark Frost (Hill Street Blues) and edgy filmmaker David Lynch, Academy Award nominated director of The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr. It aired on ABC from 1990 - 1991. The series, with a few exceptions, followed the interesting convention that one episode equaled one day in the town of Twin Peaks. This means that after 30 episodes, the series covers just slightly more than one month.

After Twin Peaks was canceled by ABC, David Lynch went on to make the prequel film, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, the story of the last seven days of Laura Palmer.moreless
