In the rustic suburban village of Eastwick, there live three seemingly ordinary women who possess unique personalities and lead very distinctive lives. Roxanne "Roxie" Torcolleti, an uninhibited artist and a financially-challenged single mom, Kat Gardener, a frustrated wife and an overworked mother of five, and Joanna Frankel, a shy and subdued newspaper reporter, are suddenly brought together thru a strange encounter at the town park. Different they may be from each other, they quickly learn that all of them have one common yearning -- to excite and experience change in their lives. Incidentally, a charismatic yet enigmatic man named Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) arrives in town determined to make their wishes come true. With Van Horne's help, Roxie (Rebecca Romijn), Kat (Jaime Ray Newman), and Joanne (Lindsay Price) soon discover their extraordinary talents and harness them to fulfill their innermost desires. As these enchanting women unleash their magical powers, Eastwick, once peaceful and idyllic, is never quite the same. Based on the novel of John Updike and the popular 1987 film adaptation, Eastwick also stars Ashley Benson as Roxie's daughter Mia, Jon Bernthal as Kat's husband Raymond, Johann Urb as Joanna's boss Will, Sara Rue as Roxie's best friend Penny, and Veronica Cartwright as Bun Waverly, the head of the Eastwick Historical Society. Created by Maggie Friedman for the small screen, the ABC dramedy is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Acting as executive producer along with Friedman is David S. Rosenthal.moreless

What Would You Do? is a reality hidden-camera show broadcast on ABC as part of the "Primetime" series. Hosted by John Quinones, the show sets up everday scenarios to gauge the reaction of or test the character of witnesses and passerby's, which are caught using hidden cameras. Some of the situations set up by the show include: a woman who says she has been drinking asking strangers to blow into a breathalyzer to help start her car, an out-of-control soccer coach verbally abusing a child, and a man trying to lure a visibly drunken woman out of a restaurant and back to his house. Many people ignore the situation and mind their own business. Others survey the situation and step in when they feel things have gone too far. Some even step in immediately to make their voices heard. The main question is: when faced with an ethical dilemma, would you do the right thing?moreless

Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo is the 1979 update of the classic Scooby-Doo character. This was the fourth Scooby-Doo cartoon to date and introduced the world to Scrappy-Doo, Scooby's puppy nephew. Despite being related, Scrappy-Doo was not much like his uncle, Scooby. Situations that would normally cause Scooby-Doo to react in frozen terror would result in Scrappy-Doo putting up his paws and shouting "Lemme at 'em! I'll splat 'em!". Due to his small size and hot temper, Scrappy-Doo would often be in physical danger, forcing Scooby-Doo and Shaggy to reluctantly save him. Scooby, Scrappy, and the rest of Mystery, Inc. were still out solving mysteries. In this series they encounter some truly out-of-this-world characters including the UFO Weirdo, Aztec Acapulco Sea Creature, Sky Skeleton, Devil Bear, and Snake Demon of Haiti. Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo ran for one exciting season in 1979 and had Scooby-Doo fans young and old talking about "Puppy Power!"moreless

Welcome to the PrimeTime Live guide at TV.com. Today's headlines come together on Thursday evenings with hard hitting investigative reports and undercover reporting that has, over the years, made a difference. Primetime, an American news magazine show on the ABC network, began August 10, 1989 with Sam Donaldson and Diane Sawyer. The early name for this show was actually "Primetime Live", but that changed when Sam Donaldson left, was replaced by Charles Gibson and was then called "Primetime Thursday". When the 2004-05 season began, ABC again reinvented this series with Chris Cuomo, Cynthia McFadden and John Quinones replacing Charles Gibson. Diane Sawyer has been the only regular anchor throughout this long-run series. On July 2005, the name was again altered to be simply, "Primetime", although some references have slipped through still calling it "Primetime Live". Interviews, human interest features and events that touch our lives are found here with people we've come to trust. Investigative reporting includes reports on insurance scams, bogus and dangerous botox injections, examination of how Iraq war veterans return home to lives of poverty. Other stories included Charles Gibson's report on the efforts to separate conjoined Virginia twins. Also hard hitting, Quiones' looked at the spiritual healer called "John of God," who has attracted millions of desperate victims and Sawyer's telling report from behind bars in a women's maximum security prison. Plus, of course, current events that have yet to happen.moreless
