Humans is an eight part drama from AMC, Channel 4 and Kudos. The series is set in a parallel present where the must-have gadget is a 'Synth', a highly developed robotic human looking servant. The series explores the emotional impact that comes as the lines between humans and machines become increasingly blurred. At the center of the four concurrent storylines explored throughout Humans is the flawed but loving Hawkins family. Joe Hawkins believes the addition of a robotic servant to the household will give them back the time they so desperately need, but Laura senses something different about their new Synth Anita - there's something not right. Widower George Millican treats his out-of-date Synth Odi like a son. When the National Health Service gives him a new Synth named Vera after Odi malfunctions he must hide his bond with Odi or risk loosing him. Leo and his Synth Max are searching for someone and they have a mysterious man named Hobb on their trail who is trying to uncover a secret before it can destroy humanity. D.S. Peter Drummond works for the Special Technologies Task Force involved with solving Synth-related disputes. Since Synths rarely malfunction, he spends his time shuffling paperwork, until the day he investigates a case that defies all possibility. Writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley collaborated on the series. Humans is an adaptation of the award-winning Swedish sci-fi drama Äkta människor (Real Humans). The show is executive produced by Jane Featherstone, Derek Wax, Henrik Widman, Jonathan Brackley and Real Humans creator Lars Lundström. The series will be made available in the UK on Channel 4 on June 14, 2015 and in the US on AMC on June 28, 2015.moreless

Set in the early 1980's, as per AMC, the show "dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas' Silicon Prairie." Joe MacMillan leaves his job at IBM with a dream: take the one, tiny part of the PC that’s proprietary to his former employer, reverse-engineer it, make it his own and give the tech giant some competition on the home-computer front. The series title "Halt and Catch Fire" is a computer-code joke, referring to the command that causes a computer’s central processing unit to stop working. The series was created by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers. Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein from Gran Via Prods serve as executive producers.moreless

Opening Introduction: (narrated by Aramis Knight/M.K.) "The wars were so long ago nobody even remembers. Darkness and fear ruled until the time of the barons, seven men and women who forged order out of chaos. People flocked to them for protection. That protection became servitude. They banished guns and trained armies of lethal fighters they called Clippers. This world is built on blood. Nobody is innocent here. Welcome to the Badlands." Into the Badlands is a genre-bending Martial Arts series loosely based on the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West". In a land ruled by Feudal Barons, Into the Badlands tells the story of Sunny (Daniel Wu), a great warrior and M.K. (Aramis Knight), a young boy who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment. Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar serve as Showrunners, Writers and Executive Producers for this series.
