Jessica the Hippo

It features professionally trained dogs and their trainers dancing with one another in competition in order to earn the Animal Planet cup. Hosted by Alec Mapa and sponsored by the World Canine Freestyle Organization, the show itself takes a specific effort to truly embody the routine of the dogs in addition to showcasing their astounding and rare dog-dancing skills. The personal lives of the dogs and the trainers are explored as well as the rigorous training the dogs must endure in order to fully understand the choreography their choreographers are attempting to convey to them. Judges evaluate the performance of the trainers, the performance of the dogs, and the control and effectiveness the trainers exert while handling and directing their dogs during performance.
