Welcome to the Five Days guide at TV.com. The first series of this crime thriller tracked five pivotal but non-consecutive days in a mysterious missing person's case involving a beautiful young mother of three. When two of her children went missing, a team of investigators was determined to find out whether she had abandoned her children or if the family had been abducted. A second series in 2010 unfolds over the five most significant days of separate police investigations into an abandoned new-born and a suicide. The characters of DSI Iain Barclay and DS Amy Foster from the first series were resurrected in spin-off mini-series Hunter. Five Days is a BBC drama production in association with HBO. Each series was broadcast on consecutive weekdays on BBC 1. The first series was broadcast on HBO on Tuesdays at 8.00pm from 2 October 2007.moreless

The Syndicate is a general knowledge quiz show which was aired on BBC1 in August, 2000. The show was hosted by Nick Ross, and the competition was between two teams, and each of the teams were made up of four members. Unlike the regular quiz shows, the teams do not lose points if they answer a question incorrectly, but they lose a team member. When a team answers correctly, they do not gain points, but they can eliminate a member of the opponent's team or they can utilize the opportunity to bring back one of their team members who had been eliminated earlier. The captain of both the teams are safe, and they are also immune to elimination. Audiences did not like the show as it seemed to be a mixture of various other TV quiz shows. The program did not appeal much to the viewers, and was canceled in November, 2000.moreless
