Top Chef season 12 celebrates Boston's transition from Beantown to a destination city for fine dining. The season is flavored with celebrity diners, renowned chefs, cultural sites, and newly energized challenges and rules for the competition.

Top Chef: Boston begins with 16 chefs in contention for the title. This season adds sudden death Quickfire challenges that pop up randomly. Each round's challenges take advantage of the city's rich cultural history and local ingredients. Locations will include famous venues, old and new, including visits to Fenway Park and Plimoth Plantation. Guest judges and diners will range from superstar chefs to sports stars and celebrities.

Padma Lakshmi continues as host and judge, along with returning head judge Tom Colicchio. Gail Simmons, and Hugh Acheson continue as judges, and, in a Top Chef first, a former winner – Richard Blais – joins the panel of judges. The Top Chef title includes a feature in Food & Wine magazine, the opportunity for the winner to showcase his or her skills at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado, and $125,000 to help turn the winner's culinary dreams into reality. Top Chef is produced by Magical Elves Productions, which Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serve as executive producers.

Queer Eye is an Emmy award-winning American reality television series that premiered on the Bravo cable television network on July 15, 2003. The program's name was changed from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy after the third season to broaden the scope of its content. The series was created by openly gay executive producer David Collins and his straight producing partner David Metzler, and produced by their production company, Scout Productions. The show is premised on and plays with the stereotypes that gay men are superior in matters of fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design, and culture. In each episode, the team of five gay men known collectively as the "Fab Five" perform a makeover (in the parlance of the show, a "make-better") on a person, usually a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home, and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle, and food. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy debuted in 2003 and quickly became both a surprise hit and one of the most talked-about television programs of 2003. The success of the show led to merchandising, franchising of the concept internationally, and a woman-oriented spin-off, Queer Eye for the Straight Girl. The show's name was shortened to Queer Eye at the beginning of its third season to reflect the show's change in direction from making over only straight men to including women and gays. Queer Eye ended production in June 2006 and the final 10 episodes aired in October 2007. The series ended October 30. The "Fab Five" in the show, consist of: Ted Allen: "Food and Wine Connoisseur", expert on alcohol, beverages, food preparation, and presentation Kyan Douglas: "Grooming Guru", expert on hair, grooming, personal hygiene, and makeup Thom Filicia: "Design Doctor", expert on interior design and home organization Carson Kressley: "Fashion Savant", expert on clothing, fashion, and personal styling Jai Rodriguez: "Culture Vulture", expert on popular culture, relationships, and social interactionmoreless

Bravo is proud to present television's first gay dating series with "Boy Meets Boy," a new twist on a traditional dating show. You've heard all the controversial buzz--now you can see for yourself what everyone is talking about! "Boy Meets Boy," hosted by Dani Behr, is Bravo's distinctive reality gay dating series with twists that explore the unexpected, leaving the viewers on the edge of their seats. In the premiere episode, viewers will meet James (the "leading man") a handsome, 32-year old administrator in the human resources department of a law firm. James and the fifteen potential mates will live in luxurious but separate accommodations. The suitors vie for his affections by participating in group activities and attending one-on-one dates, while James–with advise from his best friend Andra–eliminate men at the end of each episode. In the final episode, one lucky mate will be chosen for the opportunity to enjoy an exciting and adventure-packed New Zealand vacation with James, courtesy of Alyson Adventures. THE TWIST! What the leading man and Andra don't know is that some of the "mates" are actually STRAIGHT men posing as gay men–an interesting twist allowing for numerous avenues of heated on-air discussions and debates that challenge socially preconceived notions of what is considered gay and straight behavior. Can you guess who is straight and who is gay? Reruns do not currently air anywhere but a DVD has been released. We can only hope a second season comes around.moreless
