This time, however, more is going on than the tournament itself. Neo-Japan's Gundam Fighter Domon Kasshu is searching for his brother Kyoji, who has made off with their father's experimental Devil (In English "Dark") Gundam. Along with his specially trained pet eagle, Avenger, he fought crime as many others before him, and many others following him, did. Eventually, Birdman fell on hard times, and the hero route went by the wayside. He soon shot a pilot for a talk show (which eventually became Space Ghost Coast To Coast) but it too failed to go anywhere for him as he was (obviously) replaced by Space Ghost. Finally, at some point, Harvey Birdman was inspired to become a lawyer. Now, as an attorney, he represents his fellow former Hanna-Barbera cartoon stars, in a variety of strange cases. With opposing council made up of his former villains, the Judge a prehistoric superhero named Mightor (of the 1967 series Mighty Mightor) and his pet/partner Avenger working as his personal secretary, Harvey tackles the cases only a guy in a business suit with a mask & large wings can! He receives a rude awakening when he is revived in the middle of a military operation to evacuate him out of the cold-sleep facility. The group is attacked by a giant bug-like creature which wrenches two members into a grotesque cocoon before it is killed by the powersuit escort. It seems like a nightmare, but it's very much a reality for Yuji. He discovers that his abductors are humans under their skull-like masks and that his powersuited rescuer is a young woman named Marlene Angel. Marlene explains that it is now the year 2031, meaning that Yuji was in cold-sleep for 22 years. In that time, a genetic experiment went awry and created giant bug-like creatures called Blue which have taken over the world. The soldiers' mission is to recover human genes from before the Blue cataclysm, namely genes from sleepers like Yuji, and transport them up to a space station called Second Earth, where the fortunate humans retreated. Things, of course, don't go smoothly as planned. The Blue spring a surprise attack on the orbital launch base before the humans are able to board the shuttle. Marlene and Yuji are able to escape with two team members, Robert and Joey, but the rest of the people at the base aren't as fortunate. The survivors start on a long trek to another orbital launch base, battling Blue almost every step of the way. Cartoon Network (ended 2007)
Based on the manga by Yoshio Sawai, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is one of the weirdest, yet funny animes using puns, cross-dressing, and lots of visual gags.

Taking place in the year 300X, an evil organization knows as the Bald Empire (Margarita Empire) is planning to take over the world by stealing everyones hair. The Bald Empire, led by Emperor Baldy Bald, will have to go through Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, who is determined to put a stop to them once and for all, if they plan to succeed. But it won't be easy, because Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo was trained to "hear the voices of the hair," enabling him to command his own body hair to perform various martial arts stunts to defend himself. Along the way, he will eventually need the help of all the different, yet weird friends he encounters in order to defeat the evil Bald Empire.

    Character Guide:

(Original Japanese name / English dub name)

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo - Main character and hero of the story. Very muscular, and often wearing a large, blonde afro and sunglasses, he cares about no one but himself in his journey to defeat the Bald Empire.

Byuti / Beauty - One of the only two sane people in this world, as well as the typical teenage heroine. She has no powers whatsoever.

Heppokomaru/Gasser - In Japanese, "heppoko" means "untrained." He is the other sane person, and uses his gas to fight.

Don Patchi/Don Patch(anime) / Poppa Rocks(manga) - His original Japanese name is a pun on the word "donpachi," which is the sound of machine gun fire. Originally, he was the leader of the "hajiki," which is a group of rebels who greatly oppose Emperor Baldy. He also has a son named Lil' Rocks (Ko Patchi). The americanized version of his name means a candy known to us as Pop Rocks. Can combine with Bo-bobo to form Bo-bobo Rocks in the manga.

Tsuru Tsururiina IV / Emperor Baldy Bald - As his English dub name implies, he's the emperor/leader of the Bald Empire (Margarita Empire). His Japanese name is also an onomatopoeia for something slippery in Japanese.

Tennosuke Tokoro/Jelly Jiggler - His original Japanese name is a pun on the word "tokoroten," which is a type of cold jelly, matching his ability to take the shape of any form. He is also the captain of the Hair Hunter Troop A, and uses Fist of the Shakey Shake to fight.

He joins his toy dinosaur friends in Dino World, a world created entirely of their imagination where just about anything can happen. Currently airs from approximately 9:05 - 9:28 A.M. every weekday on Cartoon Network's Tickle U block in the United States. Don't live in the United States? You may still be in luck! Harry airs in several other markets. You can catch the show in Canada on Teletoon, known for programming including the cult-hit Toad Patrol. In Great Britain, the show can be seen on Five. German viewers can watch on SuperRTL and for those in Singapore and Malaysia, tune in to Playhouse Disney. Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs is currently in production. 52 episodes have been produced so far and a second season will be coming. A note on production numbers --- match any production number in brackets with the same number on another episode and that's the one it's paired with on stations that air two Harry stories as one episode. This does not include Cartoon Network, which airs two stories each day, but shows both with the complete opening and ending sequence. Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs is a CCI Enterainment and Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment production, in association with Rocket Fund and Silver Fox Films. News: 52 new episodes of Harry are in production! A merchandise line from Fisher Price will be out in Late Summer / Early Fall 2006 and DVDs will be coming from Warner Bros. in Early Fall 2006. A Message from Agent0042 --- 12/21/2005 --- New information is being posted everyday and a massive guide update is under way. Special thanks to the wonderful folks at CCI Entertainment for providing me with a complete episode list with French titles and production numbers. Also for info on upcoming merchandise and DVDs and the new season. And thanks to RAMChYLD for all his work so far and the video clips he's provided.moreless
