Welcome to the Witch Hunter Robin guide. To most of Society, Witches are nothing more than myths and legends of a bygone era. However, there are a few people who possess the Witch genome; a gene that may give the person special, supernatural abilities. For them, a secret organization named Solomon (STN) was formed to track and hunt them down before they became a threat to the rest of Society. The story follows the members of the STN-J, the Japanese branch of Solomon. Unlike other branches of the STN, the STN-J captures Witches alive. Armed with a substance called Orbo, an invention developed by Administrator Zaizen, the Hunters subdue the Witches of Japan and send them to a facility called the Factory. It was during one of these Hunts that a member of the team was killed. With morale falling, Solomon Headquarters sends a new Hunter from Italy to join the STN-J as a replacement for the fallen Hunter; a young girl named Robin Sena. Robin is only 15 years old, but she is already a gifted Craft User. When she first joins the team, she is met with mistrust and impatience by the other members of the STN-J. With the recent heavy Witch activity in Japan, however, the team is kept very busy. Robin's determination and skill with her Craft, which is the ability to create and manipulate fire, slowly gains the trust of the other members. As the Witch activity increases, it soon becomes apparent there is more going on under the surface. With the futures of both Witches and Hunters alike, it may well be Robin who holds the key to everyone's survival. Main Characters Robin Sena: The youngest member of the STN-J team, she was sent to Japan as a replacement for a fallen Hunter. Although she was born in Japan, she was raised in an Italian convent by Father Juliano, one of the heads of Solomon. She is a special class of Hunter, called a Craft User. Her power is Fire. Amon: The team leader and, along with Ms. Karasuma, one of the most experienced Hunters. Keeping mostly to himself, even the other team members do not know much about his private life. He relies mostly on his Orbo gun, but it is suspected that he has a strong power. His power is unknown. Miho Karasuma: The team's second in command, she takes her mission as a Hunter seriously. Because she has a somewhat motherly personality, one of the other members joked about her being the ‘old lady', much to her chagrin, since she is only 19 years old. Like Robin, she is also a Craft User. Her power is to Scrye; the psychic ability to pick up information from people or objects. Yurika Dojima: As a favor to her parents, who are members of the Japanese Cabinet, Ms. Dojima was offered a job at the STN-J. Because of her status, she's treated as ‘special' around the office, to which she takes full advantage of; lazing about, reading magazines, coming in late and such. Unlike the other members of the team, she just barley qualifies as a Hunter. She has no known special abilities. Haruto Sakaki: Enthusiastic about being a Hunter, Sakaki's brashness often causes him to get himself hurt or cause some sort of property damage. Often scolded by the Chief for his latest set of infractions, Sakaki nonetheless continues to try his best. Like Dojima, he has very little ability and no known special ability. Michael Lee: Although not a Hunter, Michael is nevertheless an important part of the team. A computer hacker, he had hacked into STN-J's network and discovered the secret organization's existence. Captured by the STN-J's agents, he was given a choice by Zaizen: either join the organization and never leave the premises, or be put to death. Choosing life, Michael became an invaluable part of the team, getting the information they need for a job and beefing up the network's own systems. Chief Kosaka: The office manager who runs the day-to-day operations of the STN-J, he serves under Administrator Zaizen. His goal is to run the office as efficiently as possible, which often puts him at odds with Dojima. Although overbearing, he is, under it all, an understanding and resourceful person. Takuma Zaizen: The Administrator of STN-J, he oversees both the operation of the Japanese branch of the STN and the Factory, the facility where captured Witches are taken to. He is also continuing the research and refining of Orbo, the substance which is used to subdue Witches. He also has some deep, dark secrets about the Orbo which he is keeping from Solomon Headquarters.moreless

The world is slowly dying... In a post-apocalyptic future where humans live in large domed cities surrounded by wasteland, wolves are believed to have been extinct for 200 years. But some wolves still remain. These wolves live by disguising themselves as humans to survive. Wolf's Rain is the story of four wolves, Kiba, Tsume, Hige and Toboe, who will follow the scent of the lunar flower on a quest to find paradise. Opening Theme: "Stray" performed by Steve Conte Ending Theme: "Gravity" performed by Maaya Sakamoto "Stray" Lyrics In the cold breeze, That I walk alone, The memories of generation burn within me. Been forever Since I cried the pain of sorrow, I'll live and die, by the pride my people gave me. I'm here standing on the edge, Staring up at where the moon should be. Oooooooooh! Stray! No regrets cause I've got nothing to lose. (Nothing to lose!) Ever stray! So I'm gonna live my life as I choose. (Life as I choose!) Until I fall. Stray! Straaaaaaaaaaaay! "Gravity" Lyrics Been a long road to follow, Been there and gone tomorrow, Without saying goodbye to yesterday. Are the memories I hold still valid? Or have the tears deluded me? Maybe this time tomorrow, The rain will cease to follow, And the mist will fade into a new today. Something somewhere out there keeps calling, Am I going home? Will I hear someone singing solace to the silent moon? Zero gravity what's it like? Am I alone? Is somebody there beyond these heavy aching feet, Still the roads keeps on telling me to go on. Something is pulling me, I feel the gravity of it all. Characters Kiba (Fang): Kiba is the white wolf. He is tough and stubborn. Even though the group has no real leader, he seems to be the one leading them. He will face any danger to get to paradise. Kiba believes in Cheza the most. Tsume (Claw): Tsume, who originally lived among the humans, is cold and independent. He doesn't really believe in paradise but goes along anyway. Tsume's identifying feature is a cross shaped scar on his chest. Hige (Whisker): Hige is rational and doesn't like to rush into things. He always seems to be looking for food or women. Hige's identifying feature is his collar around his neck. Toboe (Howling): Toboe is the youngest of the four. He is kind and loyal. The others in the group call him runt because sometimes he slows the group down. Toboe's identifying feature is a bracelet on his right hand. Cheza (The Flower Maiden): We first meet Cheza in a research lab. She is suspended inside a glass sphere. She can hear the wolves and calls out to them. Cheza will lead the wolves to paradise. Blue: Blue was Quent Yaiden's dog. As Quent's dog she could sense wolves and helped him hunt them down. But one day she met Cheza and realized she was part wolf. After that she could take human form. Quent Yaiden: Quent believes his village was burned down by wolves. For revenge he plans to hunt down all wolves and kill them. Cher Degri: Cher is one of the scientists first seen studying Cheza. Her obsession with Cheza and the "Book of the Moon" strained her marriage to Hubb. Hubb Lebowski: Hubb is a police investigator. He is Cher's ex-husband. He is still in love with Cher and follows her after she disappears. Darcia: Darcia is a noble. He wants Cheza for himself. At first his motives are unknown. He is often wearing a mask that covers his face. Guide Editor:LadyL Thank You to all who have contributed to this guide. Note:If you are going to contribute to this guide please check your spelling. Cyborg 009 is the story of a half-Japanese juvenile delinquent named Joe Shimamura, or Cyborg 009. Black Ghost, a top-secret organization bent on promoting global warfare, kidnaps Joe along with eight other unwanted members of society from the four corners of the globe and turns them into Cyborgs. Though the organization intends to turn the group into super-powered killing machines, it's not long before Joe and his new companions rebel against Black Ghost and make their escape with the help of an old scientist, Dr. Isaac Gilmore.

Once Joe and friends have freed themselves, Black Ghost sends a series of other Cyborgs and giant robots in hot pursuit. Using their new powers and abilities, our heroes stay one step ahead of Black Ghost and its evil machinations, but can they save the world from its diabolical scheme?!

Cyborg 009 was the creation of manga-ka (Japanese comic artist) Shotaro Ishinomori. In 1971, Ishinomori-sensei reworked the Cyborg 009 concept into his more popular creation, Masked Rider, or Kamen Rider, which told the story of a young scientist/motorcyclist named Takeshi Hongo who fights the evil organization Shocker, which transformed him into a grasshopper-like Cyborg for their evil deeds

This is the third Cyborg 009 anime series made. The first was made in 1966, and the second in 1979, the latter almost identical to the newer series made in 2001. There were also two animated films in 1966 and 1967, Cyborg 009 and Cyborg 009: Monster War, and another for the '79 series in 1980 titled Cyborg 009: Legend of the Super Galaxy .

This guide covers the English dub version ONLY. In Japan, in 2001, it was named Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier, or Cyborg Soldier 009, to avoid confusion with the two previous series. In it's US run in 2003 on Cartoon Network, the anime was simply titled Cyborg 009. Go here for the Japanese version guide.moreless

Mainframe worked closely with the comic's creators, Starlight Runner, to bring the story to life and create an action-packed show. The series introduced us to scientific genius Peter Tezla who recruits the world's best drivers to race through Highway 35. Highway 35 was hidden until Tezla discovered it and found that it lead to another dimension filled with great obstacles. But somewhere in the hidden dimension was an unlimited source of clean energy known as the Wheel of Power. Tezla hopes that whoever wins the race can bring him the Wheel of Power so that he may be able to tap into its power and help human kind. Unfortunately for Tezla, the racers face a challenge even greater than the dimension's ultimate racing tracks...a mystery racer known as Racer Zed-36, who could be working for someone much more sinister than him. In the middle of all the action we also get a glimpse into the lives of the racers and the relationships between them. Although the series features many characters it mainly centers on the rivalry between Wave Rippers leader Vert, a cocky teenager, and Street Breed leader Kurt Wylde, a tough and serious racer. Broadcast History Highway 35 was originally planned as a straight-to-video series but Cartoon Network ran the entire series before every episode could be released on video. The series premiered during Cartoon Network's now defunct Saturday night SVES action lineup and aired alongside other shows such as Samurai Jack. It was later rerun in October 2003 during Cartoon Network's Toonami block Fridays after Transformers Armada, back when Toonami aired on weekdays. The series received a third run in February 2004 during Toonami's Friday Specials. In January 2005, Hot Wheels returned to Toonami (which had now moved to Saturdays replacing SVES) but this time it was for the first episode of AcceleRacers, the next chapter in the Hot Wheels adventures. Cartoon Network (ended 2000)
Welcome to the Mike Lu & Og Guide at TV.com. Mike Lu & Og is one of Cartoon Network's shows that belongs to a collection of original network series known as Cartoon Cartoons. It premiered on Friday May 7, 1999 during the Cartoon Cartoons Fridays block. The show features a spunky, red-haired girl named Mike (short for Micheline; call her that and you'll be in big trouble), who's a foreign exchange student from Manhattan, New York, a stuck-up island princess named Lu, her cousin Og, a native boy and a scientific genius who can come up with a number of inventions as they go through the wackiest adventures as Mike learns the customs of the island of Albonquetine and the natives, in turn, learn of American culture. REGULAR CHARACTERS: Mike, a young girl from New York City who is stuck on the island. She's an exchange student on the island paradise of Albonquetine and is doing her best to fit in with the natives, while keeping her New York attitude. She often tells the islanders about common items and aspects of American culture that are rather new to them. Lu also known as LuLu, or "Princess Lu" (mainly to herself) is the island's resident brat. She has a pet turtle named Lancelot, who's friendly, but usually treated meanly by his mistress, who spends most of her time trying to get attention or trying to get rid of Mike, because most times she's able to steal the spotlight away from her. Og is Lu's cousin and gets along well with pretty much everybody. He's a genius, so he spends most of his time in his "lab" which is actually a little workshop inventing things for use on the island...many of the items he invents are food or for play (hot dogs made of coconuts for Mike, a sidewalk all over the island for skating, etc.) Alfred is Og's father and a kind man, albeit absent-minded sometimes. His main hobby is hunting, usually with a bow and plunger-tipped arrows. He particularly goes after a very elusive wombat, who with wit or dumb luck often gets away. Margery is Alfred's wife and Og's mother. She's skilled at island cooking and an artist, specializing in sculpting with chisels. She works hard, but often takes time to stop for a cup of tea at least once a day, for it's always an island custom. Wendel is Lu's father and governor of Albonquetine Island. He's often at home passing laws and approving documents, but also helps the islanders celebrate special holidays and reminding them of their history. He has a pet parrot named Skipper who at times can get on his nerves, but would be lonely without him. Queeks is the island elder the gang seeks for advice. He also has magic abilities that at times can go awry. He's a good old man, but often cranky. RECURRING CHARACTERS: Goat, Pig, and Spiney (the Porcupine) make up the island's Philosophical Society with Og. They have weekly meetings discussing various topics, a number of which lead to debate. They're all intellectuals, but speak only in Og's presence and act like regular animals when anyone else walks by. The Pirates, consisting of The Captain, Mate and Bos'n, live off the island where there's little food and they're always hungry as a result. Their favorite delicacy is turtle soup which usually leads to danger for Lancelot if they ever cross paths, as he's sure to be captured and put in their pot. Fortunately for him, Mike, Lu and Og are always around to rescue him. The Cuzzlewits are the clan that live on the other side of Albonquetine Island. They're wilder and more savage than the regular gang Mike knows. But there's at least one exception with preteen girl Hermione, who's smart and sophisticated, particularly by they way she speaks. She not afraid to offer her opinions and advice and is friendly to Mike, Lu, and Og. But she has two younger brothers Haggis and Baggis, who more than make up for their sister's lack of wildness. Other links to Mike, Lu, & Og: wikipedia imdb big cartoon database Lineup History: The show premiered on Cartoon Network on May 7, 1999. It ran for two seasons from June 1999-August 2000 with 2 shorts per half-hour block. It went off that network a couple of years later, but returned on sister channel Boomerang in late 2006, where it's certain to remain. Opening theme song: (To a calypso beat) Mike, Lu, and Og--On the island, Mike, Lu, and Og--Pretty island, Where nobody goes. Palm tree and blue sky, Fish are jumping high, It's an island where nobody knows. Ain't no burger stand, Ain't no disco band, On the island where nobody goes. Whooooo-whoooo-whooo-weee! Ain't no cars, no phones, ain't no parking zone, Ain't no chaperones, ain't no Leprechauns, Ain't no mortgage loans, ain't no hair salons, Ain't no savings bonds, ain't no ice cream cones, Ain't no free coupons, ain't no silicone, Ain't no parmesan, ain't no kidney stones, Ain't no microphones, ain't no slide trombones, ain't no carry-ons. He finds a kindred soul in Aldo, an alligator from the neighboring town of Swampwood. Together, these unlikely friends struggle to find happiness as best buddies in an alligator-eat-duck world. Bill and Aldo have a remarkable friendship. Bill's neighbors in Idyllic Ducktown, Ed, Oly and Waddle, often drag the mismatched duo into wacky, and sometimes dangerous adventures. Based on Michael Bedard's world-renowned airbrush paintings, posters and books, Sitting Ducks takes place in the whimsical world of Ducktown.
