Courage the Cowardly Dog was an abandoned dog and was found by his owner Muriel who lives in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas with her husband Eustace Bagge. Eustace is a failed farmer who farms no more. His most prized object is his old truck. He is usually watching his old black and white televison and is always asking for his meal. He is crazy about his red chair. Muriel loves to sit in her rocking chair watch her favorite show (not mentioned what it's called), cook, play her sitar, and enjoy talking with Courage. Eustace, on the other hand, dislikes Courage. He scares him with a mask. Courage is a dog almost afraid of everything and with the help of his computer he battles the villians and saves himself and his owners. They don't have any neighbors that live next door. Katz is the most common villian that is seen on the show, he thinks up wise traps to lure people into their doom. The bickering of Eustace, the old customs of Muriel, the action of the villians, and the humor of Courage make it a great show!moreless

Similar to what is done on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, this show can be described as a "cartoon remix" of the 1972 Alex Toth animated show Sealab 2020 in that the producers take the old animated footage, and manipulate it into something hilarious.

The show centers around the crew of a lab under the sea. Plot and continuity are sacrificed early and often for insanity and clever wit.

The show ran for four seasons and 52 episodes until it was cancelled in April 2005. Despite rumors of Cartoon Network cancelling the series, the show was in fact ended by decision of 7030 Productions, who felt it was the right time to move on to new projects.

The anime version of Sword Art Online comes from a series of novels and manga by the same name. Set in the year 2022, the gaming industry moved from Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game(s) (MMORPG) using monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets, etc to a neural interface allowing for true Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game(s) (VRMMORPG). Like other VRMMORPG, SOA interfaces directly with the human brain using Nerve Gear, a virtual reality helmet. Nerve Gear supplants the five human senses, so the user sees, hears, smells, tastes, and feels only what the game generates. This allows a player to become their character and experience the game as they experience their real lives, outside the game. Users have no connection to the outside world, other than what the game allows for based upon its programming. SOA enters beta testing in the third quarter 2022 and allows 1,000 individuals to play the game in advance of the opening day. Upon beginning all players start over again with new basic characters. There are slight changes to the monsters, battles, etc between the beta and the opening day version of the game. The official opening occurs on November 6, 2022 when all 10,000 players log into the game and begin exploring the world. After several hours, various users discover the logout command is not in the menu system available to them. Shortly after these players discover this fact, the owner and creator of SAO (Kayaba Akihiko) announces he is hijacking the game for his own personal desire, which he's had since he was a child. He wants to live in a world like SAO with true life and death struggles. Thus no one will be able to logout until someone reaches and clears the 100th floor. Additionally, if a character dies in the game the connected player will die in real life. As the developer of Virtual Gear, he designed and inserted into the helmets a kill switch that will microwave a player's brain in the real world. The kill switch actives should the player die in the game or if someone, in the real world, attempts to remove or disconnect the helmet. The story follows several players who interact with each other from the beginning of the game, including a beta test named Kirito. He began playing SAO during the beta testing phased and surpassed other players in advancing through both character levels and floors. The anime is as much about the game play as it is the characters and how they develop and interact with each other. Half way through the anime series, the action leaves the world of SAO and enters the real world, except for 300 players who for some reason don't wake up. Kirito discovers what happened to the 300 players, which includes his in game wife (Asuna), and begins devising a plan to rescue them and bring them to the real world. The last half of the game follows Kirito and others on this adventure and answers the question, will Kirito and Asuna marry also in the real world. The novels and manga continue the story beyond the point where the anime ends. Cartoon Network gives Sword Art Online an overall TV Rating in the USA of TV-14 LV, but the rating for each episode varies based upon content. As an example, some episodes have a TV rating of TV-PG L instead of TV-14 LV. The TV rating for an episode will be in the production note section, the summary, or both. As TV.com moved the production note section towards the bottom and as parents should be able to quickly find the rating of an episode, we're looking to have the rating in both sections to help parents, guardians, and other viewers. Sword Art Online airs at the following times depending upon time zone: EDT: Sunday at 02:00 (2 AM)

    Cartoon Network (ended 2005)
Some 50 years ago there were two powers in the world. The power of light, Rave, and the power of dark, Dark Bring. In a final showdown against Dark Bring, Shiba used Rave to destroy the dark stone once and for all. After breaking it, a terrible explosion occurred -- this was called Overdrive. Overdrive completely wiped out 1/10ths of the entire world. The explosion gave Dark Bring the chance to escape and Rave was split into five pieces and scattered across the globe. Fifty years later, when Shiba strolled into Garage Island -- he met Haru Glory. Not but five minutes later they're being attacked by a member of the Shadow Guard, the current gang that is using Dark Bring to find Rave and destroy it. While Shiba and Feber (the Shadow Guard lackey) fight, Shiba discovers that Rave will no longer respond to him. Instead, Rave has chosen a new master. And that would be Haru. The Characters Haru Glory: The hero of our story. His mom passed away when he was young and his father has gone missing after he went on a quest to find the RAVE Stones, so Haru spent his youth training so that he can look out for his sister, Cattleya. But, Fate has other plans for the sixteen-year-old. Haru is the new RAVE master, the only one capable of wielding RAVE and defeating Dark Bring. With his transforming sword, the Ten Powers, Haru leaves his home on Garage Island on an unforgettable quest to save the world. Plue: Is he a dog, a snowman, a fish, a bug? Actually, he's none of those - this little guy is the Rave Bearer, the only one capable of finding the missing RAVE Stones. His pointy nose is quite hard and sharp, so sometimes his companions throw him at enemies like a living dart. He's quite fond of sweets - especially lollipops. Elie: A girl with no memories. She first meets Haru at the dog races where she was betting on Plue (she's got the luck of the gods on her side). She ends up joining them after Haru saves her. She fights with Tonfa Blasters to explosive effect. A fashionable amnesiac, she only wears Love Believer and Heart Kreus brand clothing. (She may be a cute, gambling-obsessed, amnesiac tomboy, but she's not like Faye Valentine 'cuz Elie likes dogs!) Even though Elie won't admit it, she has feelings for Haru. Griff:He is the blue guy who can turn into an umbrella and can also turn into a map by looking at the area first. He also has a crush on Elie. Musica:Musica is the leader of a group of thieves named Silver-Rhythm. He can manipulate silver into any form he wants it to be. He is Haru's good and strongest friend. Musica is the grandson of Galein Musica (the blacksmith). His whole family was killed by the Shadow Guard number 17- Lance the Beast Sword, except his grandfather Galein Musica, but Galein won't admit that he is his grandfather. After his family's death, a man named Lize raised and trained Hamrio. Musica now helps Haru and his friends embark on a new journey in search of all the Raves and in the hopes of defeating the Shadow Guard once and for all! Gale Glory:Gale Glory is Haru's father who helps Haru defeat King. Gale Glory thinks Elie is Haru's girlfriend and Haru won't admit he likes Elie. However, he dies trying to save Haru from the collapsing Tower of Din. Sieg Hart:Originally joined the Demon Guard to fufill his own goals, but he had no intention of helping them with their goals. He is a guardian of time, and it is his duty to kill anything that is will threaten it. He trys to kill Elie because he believes she is a threat to the timestream, but he is stopped by Haru. Now, he is a great and powerful allie for Haru. Let:He was orginally working for the Demon Guard as one of the Palace Guardians in the Tower of Din, but he was defeated by Haru. After Haru taught Let that there is more to life than victory or defeat, Let joined Haru on his quest. Let eventually becomes good friends with Haru and the others, and he is willing to risk his life to protect them. Ruby:A wealthy penguin type sentiniod that was being used by Doryu for money. However, Haru and his friends saved him, and he joined Haru's party. Sieg Hart later reveals that Ruby has the ability to do magic, and Ruby later is able to perform magic later in the series. Eisenmeteor (the Metal Sword)- This is the default form of the sword. It's heavy and can't be handled easily without training or experience. Its strength lies in its simplicity: it's nothing more than a simple dual-edged sword. Not enchanted or affected in any way, it has a particular use against spellcasters such as Sieg Hart, who aren't used to purely physical attacks. 2. Explosion- This is the first alternate form Haru reveals. Though it has no edge, Haru can use this sword to summon an explosive force that is released upon the sword's impact. The trouble is that the explosion creates a recoil on Haru that can sap his strength if used excessively. 3. Silfarion (the Sonic Sword)- It enables Haru to move and attack at very high speed. Its specialty is the high-speed attack, a series of sword strokes executed faster than the blink of an eye. Its main weakness is that it is very light, so individual strokes are not very powerful. In fact, both sword and wielder become very light in this form; a strong force can end up literally blowing you away. 4. Rune-Save (the Sealing Sword)- It's a purely defensive sword, meaning Haru cannot hurt people with it, but this is compensated by its sealing powers. When Haru slashes an elemental or energy attack with Rune-Save, he can seal it and make it disappear. It also seems to have some ability to contain the power of Etherion, which Haru uses to seal Elie's power. 5. Blue Crimson (the Twin Dragon Sword)- This is actually two swords, named such because one is Blue (an ice-elemental) and one is Crimson (a fire-elemental), that is revealed when the sword is broken in two again. It allows for a variety of techniques, but to really gain the full abilities of Blue Crimson, you need to be able to handle both swords at once, and since Haru's right-handed, it's not an easy feat. 6. Mel Force (the Vacuum Sword)- This is another defensive sword. It can't really hurt enemies, but a stroke from the sword can create a powerful vacuum that can push enemies back, preventing them from advancing. 7. Gravity Core (the Gravity Sword)- As the name implies, this sword carries with it a powerful force of gravity. This makes the sword extremely cumbersome to wield (it's heavier than even Eisenmeteor), but a stroke from the Gravity Core can send this same intense gravity at enemies or obstacles. 8. Million Suns (the Light Sword)- This sacred sword glows with blinding light. It isn't specifically made to defeat dark type being, but it is more than powerful enough to defeat them with one hit. 9. Sacrifier (the Sacrifice Sword)- The power of Sacrifier is two-edged. At the one end, you gain an incredible skill and power. At the other end, you pay for it with your sanity, becoming emotionless, remorseless, and potentially very dangerous for anyone, friend or foe, that is in your sights. The sword would eventually kill the user. 10. ??? The sword's ultimate form is unnamed and for the most part unknown. It is believed to have been sealed because its power, like that of Etherion, can cause potential disaster. Story Arcs King Story Arc: Manga Volumes 1-9 and Anime Episodes 1-39 1. Rated: TV-PG through TV-14 "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth." -Alphonse Elric

Edward and Alphonse Elric are two brothers gifted with the ability of alchemy, the science of taking one thing and changing it into another. However, alchemy works on the theory of Equivalent Exchange -- for something to be created, something else of equal value must be sacrificed. When their mother dies, Edward decides to do the unthinkable -- bringing her back to life by preforming Human Alchemy. However, both Edward and Alphonse know that by doing so they will be breaking one of Alchemy's biggest taboos.

Believing they have nothing more to lose, Ed and Al go ahead with their plan. Unfortunately, something goes horribly wrong and Ed loses his leg while Al loses his body. In order to save his brother, Ed sacrifices his arm for Al's soul and attaches it to a suit of armor.

Determined to correct what they have done and get their bodies back, the brothers decide to become State Alchemists to gain access to the State's enormous library on alchemy. There, they learn of the legendary Philosopher's Stone -- an item that allows an alchemist to bypass the Law of Equivalent Exchange. They soon learn that they are not the only ones after the Stone as other forces (including the Military) join in on the hunt.

    Main Characters

Edward Elric: The older of the two brothers, he is also the most gifted. At the age of 12, he becomes the youngest person ever to pass the State Alchemist Exam. He is also a bit sensitive over being called 'short'.

Alphonse Elric: Edward's younger brother, he has a gentle spirit in spite of the menacing appearance of his suit of armor. Also a gifted alchemist, he is determined to restore Ed's limbs and to feel human again.

Winry Rockbell: Ed and Al's next door neighbor and childhood friend, Winry is an expert Auto-Mail mechanic who helped fit Ed with his limbs after the accident. She is close to both brothers, but is not afraid to let Ed have it when he deserves it.

Colonel Roy Mustang: Ed's immediate supervisor, Colonel Mustang is also known as the Flame Alchemist. A very private individual, he has his own agenda.

Lt. Colonel Maes Hughes: A military investigator, Hughes is a very easy-going, likable guy. Although not an alchemist, he has a talent with knives. He is currently obsessed with his baby daughter, of whom he can't stop talking about.

Scar: First known as the State Alchemist Killer, he believes State Alchemists are defying the sacredness of the Almighty God. He vows to kill all State Alchemists and anyone who gets in his way.

Lust: A Homunculus, her goal is to become fully human -- and she will use whatever means possible to achieve it. The Homunculi are beings created by a secret but evil alchemy.

Gluttony: Lust's loyal Homunculus comrade. Named after one of the Seven Deadly Sins, he is also the creepiest character, since his name refers to his enormous appetite to eat almost anything -- particularly human beings.

Envy: Another Homunculus who works with Lust. Also named after one of the Seven Deadly Sins, Envy has the ability to change form. Lust often uses Envy's skill to trick others into doing what she wants.

    Transformers Cybertron

    Transformers Cybertron

    Follow
    Cartoon Network (ended 2006)
In the new series, OPTIMUS PRIME and the AUTOBOTS face the greatest danger in all eternity, a menace that threatens not only the survival of the TRANSFORMERS, but the very existence of CYBERTRON, the home of the TRANSFORMERS race, and the universe itself. This next installment is "more than meets the eye" with a complex story of intrigue and surprises, and a reminder to fans what it means to be "ROBOTS IN DISGUISE"! The stage of the Transformers battles are various planets in the universe. A black hole which appears at the end of an intense Transformers battle and others fighting begins to be swallowed by a star & the universe has met the crisis of its disappearance/destruction. The Cybertron forces of justice is led by Optimus Prime. While in order to protect the entire universe, they encounter the inhabitants of various planets, the evil forces of Megatron unfolds a fight. Optimus Prime: Optimus Prime is a leader in the best sense of the word, taking point on every mission and never sending his team into any situation he wouldn't go himself. Dedicated to the protection of all life and the preservation of freedom for all sentient beings, he serves as a role model for his fellow Autobots. It is through his keen intelligence, even hand, steady nerves and endless compassion that the Autobots sontinue to frustrate de Decepticons evil plans again and again. In a desperate race against time, Optimus Prime has been forced to send teams of his best soldiers into unknown parts of the Universe in search of the lost planet keys, ancient artifacts with the power to save Cybertron and the rest of the Universe from the giant black hole formed from the implosion of Unicron. Jetfire: He is sincere & is a vice-commander whose reliance is also thick. He is also a realist who can clearly advocate objections from a clear point of view to make difficult judgments & simultaneously manages the given command exactly when it is given. At the time of the Earth migration, he proposed disguising himself so not to disturb the Earth governments. Hot Shot: A natural leader with a lot yet to learn, Hot Shot often races straight into danger at top speed. He takes great pride in the fact that he's the fastest Autobot there is, but it isn't until he gets to the Speed Planet that he learns the true meaning of velocity. Faced by the almost unbeatable Override, Hot Shot needs to learn a whole new way of thinking about acceleration before he can win the Great Race. Landmine: With a wisdom born of experience, and a tactical knowledge unmatched among the Autobot ranks, Landmine is a soldier other 'bots follow without reservation. He suffered heavy injuries in the final fight with Unicron. After a crash-landing on Earth, he was repaired by the new human allies of the Autobots. An excellent battlefield commander, he's determined to prevent the Decepticons from gaining an edge by recovering the Earth Cyber Planet Key. Overhaul/ Leobreaker: One tough Autobot, Overhaul has never thought much of intellectual pursuits. His solution to a complex problem is generally to stomp on it until it gets simple or stops being a problem. He's never felt that he's had the respect his strenght deserves from the other Autobots, but now that he's on the Jungle Planet - where might makes right - he feels right at home. Override eventually taps into the Jungle Planet key and is reformatted into Loebreaker, a mighty lion Transformer. With his new form, he can link with Optimus and form the mighty savage claw mode. Scattorshot: Probably the most neurotic Autobot ever created, Scattorshot always gets the job done. As the right hand 'bot to Jetfire in protecting Earth, he worries so much about messing up in front of his legendary commander that he sets a nearly impossible standard for himself. Despite his nervous clumsiness, he somehow never seems to fail, but his good luck just serves as proof to him that somewhere in the universe is a huge stone of bad karma just waiting for the right moment to come crashing down on him. Vector Prime: Vector Prime is one of the first Transformers. A powerful, wise and incredibly ancient warrior, he has served as protector over Cybertron since its beginnings. Pulled out of the shadows of time by a distress signal broadcast by his damaged planet, he arrives too late to save Cybertron without assistance. Arising from an era in which all Transformers lived in harmony, he is unaware of the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons, a fact that Megatron uses to trick him and steal the map to the lost planets and the planet keys. Realizing his mistake, he joins Optimus Prime and pledges his knowledge and skill to the desperate quest to retrieve the planet keys before Megatron. Override: Long-time champion and leader of the Speed Planet, Override is always ready for a race. Acceleration is her only ideal, but she respects anyone with the guts to challenge her. She's faced and beaten thousands of upstart speedsters in her time. At first she's suspicious of the intentions Hot Shot and th Autobots have for her world's Cyber Planet Key, but once she realizes what's at stake she's only too glad to help. The Minicons Jolt, Six Speed and Reverb: Small Transformers with many mysteries accompanying Vector Prime. They are full of curiosity and enjoy interaction with the children. Their information of Earth is promptly absorbed through the INTERNET. Snarl: This wolf bot joined the Autobot forces on Jungle Planet where he helped Override sift through the elements. He was accused of being a traitor by Scourge, but Leobreaker refused to let him die allowing Snarl to join the Autobots. His wolf form gives him great speed against his enemies, and his pride make him a willing servant to all the Autobots. Decepticon Forces: Megatron: For millions of years, Megatron has lead fanatical legions of evil Decepticons on their war for conquest of the Universe. A living weapon with dozens of self-inflicted modifications made in the name of increased power and destructive capability, his only weakness is his single-minded desire for the enslavement of the Universe. His intellect, ego and talent for deception are second to none, and he rules his Decepticons with an iron-fisted combination of fear and force of personality. Driven by a nearly insane lust for power, Megatron managed not only to survive the catastrophic implosion of Unicron, but also to absorb much of his power. Now, wearing salvaged pieces of the ancient destroyer's armor, Megatron is awesomely powerful, and is determined to beat Optimus Prime and the Autobots to the lost planet keys. Starscream: Unsurpassed in ego or ambition, Starscream is the scheming second-in-command to Megatron. With his mastery of the sword, null-ray cannons that can disrupt the functioning of even the most hardened Autobot and a vast array of secondary weapons, Starscream is second only to Megatron and Optimus Prime in power. His speed is uncanny, oftne giving slower 'bots the impression that he actually teleports around the battlefield. Left stranded on Earth to battle Jetfire - the only Autobot warrior capable of even coming close to matching Starscream for speed or skill in aerial combat - he plots to seize a Cyber Planet Key for himself in order to gain the power he needs to finally overthrow Megatron and take command of the Decepticon army himself. Though his battle prowess is legendary, he lacks the practical intelligence to hide his ambition from his leader, and Megatron is more than aware of his plotting. Thundercracker: This loyal Decepticon works under the command of Starscream for the recovery of the Planet Key on Earth. Thundercracker believes that the most effective way to defeat an enemy is to terrorize and demoralize him before attacking. The mere sound of his focused sonic booms - audible for more than 200 miles - is enought to frighten many other Transformers. Crumplezone: Trusting but dumb, Crumplezone is often drawn into serving as the muscle to back up the paranoid plotting of his partner Ransack. Huge, powerful and superfast, Crumplezone is sometimes surprised by sudden turns. Not that it matters - he's the biggest guy on the Speed Planet, and crashing straight ahead through whatever gets in his way is his specialty. Twin-turbine ramjets can propel him at nearly the speed of sound, and selective thrust reversal allows him to fire hypersonic, high-explosive slugs nearly 12 miles. Ransack: Skittish and suspicious, Ransack is a loudmouth bully, always ready to intimidate others into giving him what he wants, but only when his big partner Crumplezone is around. With the energy of the Speed Planet flowing through his circuitry, everything about him is fast - sometimes too fast. Unable to stop thinking or moving, his hyperactive mind tends to draw connections between unconnected things, and sees conspiracy everywhere. Dirt Boss: A wild outlaw, rugged villain of the rough backwaters of the Speed Planet, those who are fooled by the sheer size of Dirt Boss into thinking he's slow are soon left choking on his exhaust. He lives to pound his opponents into the dust and leave them spinning their wheels - that's if he decides to leave the wheels attached. Hot Shot is certain to learn some tough lessons from him. Scourge: Scourge is the brutal and awesomely powerful ruler of the Jungle Planet. He views any display of kindness, compassion or generosity as weakness, and he hates weakness. Cold, distant, and prone to violent rage against those he views as lesser creatures, he holds most of the Jungle Planet firmly in his transmetal claw. Those defying him are likely to experience the searing heat of his stellar plasma breath, or the bite of his axe as their final sensation before their spark is extinguished. Overhaul, Snarl, and the Jungle Planet rebels will find him to be the most powerful foe they have ever faced. Sideways: This Transformer claims to be a spy for the Autobots, but he has joined Starscream at trying to overthrow Megatron's regimine and is now watching Starscream as he is filled with the power of Primus. He has the ability to shift the logo on his outfit, but it is unknown if he really is working for either side, or if he has his own plans in mind. Humans: Coby: A proud 14 year old boy who is proficient in repairs and reconstruction of mechanisms. Under the influence of his father who was a racer, motor crossing has become his hobby. He is vigorous and a cheerful character, but in secret, he worries about the comparison with the excellent records of his older brother and has thoughts of wanting to be accepted/recognized by his father is strongly above necessity. Brad: He is the 11 year old younger brother of Coby. He loves to watch "B" movies of Sci-Fi, Kung Fu and crime, and imitates them well. Although his wild way of thinking is shocking, it invites humor, which occasionally has even saved him in time of crisis. His communication with the Mini-Cons is possible without intentionally knowing why. Lori: This 14 year old city girl is taken to the country by her parents who have a taste for the outdoors. Although it is a harsh place, she stubbornly continues her city lifestyle. She cannot adhere to phenomenon that much, but her different sense of values can be accepted. Professor Suzuki: This scientist was looking for life on other planets when she ran into the kids in her lab. Later on her way to search in the Antartic she paid for heavy coats for the kids and ended up learning about the Autobots. Now she tries to search for any skills that will assist the Transformers at saving Earth. Colonel Franklin: his military man has been searching for Transformers so he could thank them for saving his life when he was a kid, but his disguise is to make it look like he is preventing aliens from invading Earth. The dvd is now available In addition to the new episodes on Saturday, Cybertron also airs weekdays at 6:30 AM on CN.moreless
