Sammo Law is a Chinese law officer and a martial arts expert transferred to America looking for an old nemesis. During the search, Sammo will join the police department and work with a group of detectives on police cases.

The show ran for two years on CBS, and it endured cast revamps, which were probably the main reason why the show ended only after two years.

After only 5 episodes, Tammy Lauren exited the show, and both Louis Mandylor and Tom Wright exited the show after the first season. During the first season, a new character was introduced (played by Arsenio Hall) and was soon made a regular.

People loved the show, because it was a good combination of action, martial arts and comedy, but not enough to keep it going.moreless

This unsuccessful and now totally forgotten "family hour" drama was MTM's first 60-minute series. It focused on the assignments of photojournalist Pete Karras, who somewhat improbably moved around the U.S. in a custom-built motorhome complete with his two sons. (You'd think he's be beaten out by competitors who could fly to assignments without their families.) The premise was, of course, just an excuse for a disguised anthology drama like The Fugitive or Route 66, in which the main characters would enter a new town and a new dramatic situation each week.moreless

Star Trek: Remastered takes Gene Roddenberry's groundbreaking 1960s science fiction series and gives it a fresh coat of paint for a new generation. The Original Series gets a full make-over, presented now in high definition with new CGI effects and enhanced audio. This digital re-mastering was released in 2006 to commemorate Star Trek's 40th anniversary. Star Trek didn't always have the loyal following it does now. It's first season received lukewarm ratings, and while it developed a significant fan base, it received little network support and was canceled after three seasons. Nonetheless, the show continued to run in syndication in the 70s and gained popularity. Now, Stark Trek is one of the most-loved sci-fi stories of all time, with many spin-off series and several feature films. Star Trek holds the Guinness World Record for having the largest number of spin-offs among television shows in history. The Original Series has stood the test of time, and this updated version gives it a new, polished finish. Whether you're a long-time fan of this smart sci-fi classic, or a recent convert looking to catch up, Star Trek: Remastered is the best Original Series viewing experience available.moreless

The Adventures of Batman is the late 60's animated series that chronicled the dark knight's escapades in a lighthearted way (as apposed to the darker film-noir style of the 90's animated series). The show used the voices of Olan Soule as the masked crusader, and famous radio personality and voice actor Casey Kasem as his boy wonder sidekick Robin. This series was best known for its pioneering use of realistic animation, by drawing over live action. Often paired with Superman Cartoons on CBS, each episode ran around 12 minutes long and portrayed the superhero outsmart and fight off an endless slew of super villains that threaten the good people of Gotham. After being orphaned as a child by an armed mugger, billionaire's son Bruce Wayne uses his great smarts and bountiful resources to create a masked vigilante alter ego known only as Batman. He vows to protect the metropolis city of Gotham from the criminals that overrun it and seek its control at any price.moreless

Feared by the ape authorities, their plight turns the head of a promising young chimpanzee named Galen, who adopts the heretical idea that maybe humans aren't a lower species and can co-exist with apes as equals. As the three struggle to survive life on the run, a bond of friendship grows between them like an intricate tapestry woven right before our eyes, a multi-threaded miracle born of compassion, respect, and the desire to replace fear with understanding. The series is loosely tied to the original movie series, reusing some footage and the ape makeup (albeit on a lower budget). The New Adventures of Batman was produced by the Filmation> studio in 1977. This was the second Batman animated series produced by them, after the 1968-1969 series. The character designs for most of the characters (except Commissioner Gordon) were retained from the earlier series, although the more sophisticated animation technique of rotoscoping (tracing the characters' movements over live action footage) was used to give the characters a more fluid movement. Each episode also contained a short, moralistic "Bat Message" at the end. This was the first time that both Adam West and Burt Ward returned to their famous roles of Batman & Robin since the end of the live-action show in 1968. The series was actually on air at the same time as Hanna-Barbera's The All-New SuperFriends Hour, making this one of the very few times in television animation history that two characters' exploits were being produced simultaneously by two different studios. After the series' initial network run, it was then paired up with Filmation's Tarzan animated series of 1976, and known as The Batman/Tarzan Adventure Hour which ran from September 10 1977 - September 2 1978 again on CBS. The series then became part of another package known as Tarzan And The Super 7 which ran from September 9 1978 - August 30 1980 still on CBS. Finally, the series was then shown as part of the Batman And The Super 7 collection of shows that ran from September 27 1980 - September 5 1981, this time on NBC.moreless

Thousands of years ago, Egyptian Queen Hatchupset was given an amulet by her Royal Wizard. This amulet empowered the queen with the powers of the goddess Isis; to command the elements of sky and earth. Flash forward to present time (1970's that is) young science teacher Andrea Thomas found this lost amulet while on an archaeological dig. She found she was heir to the "Secrets of Isis." By bearing the necklace that had the amulet, and calling out the phrase "OH MIGHTY ISIS," Andrea was transformed into Isis. As Isis, she could "soar as the falcon soars, run with the speed of gazelles, and command all the elements of sky and earth." In order to invoke her powers, she had to recite incantations. Her most famous incantation - "Oh zephyr winds which blow on high, lift me now so I can fly" - assisted her in taking flight. She also had control of animals, fire, water, etc. Her powers were usually used to help teach young people she came in contact with, a moral lesson. Her associates, Rick Mason, Cindy Lee, Dr. Barnes, and later, Rennie Carroll, were oblivious to her dual identity. Isis was seen as the female counterpart to Shazam (Captain Marvel). They had a few crossover episodes to each other's shows.moreless

Cord attempted to change his life by becoming a rancher and raising the children in a converted farmhouse he rented from the town banker. The oldest of the children, and only girl, was 13-year-old Claire Carroll, who shared some of Ethan's supervisory duties, especially while he was away. Her brothers were Joseph, 11; Ben, 9; and George, 5.
Despite attempting to settle down with his new brood, Ethan was often hired on odd jobs which utilized his gunfighting skills. Together, Cole's unit will confront the city's highest-profile crimes and criminals in the most exciting urban landscape in America." (Universal press release) A big critical, if not commercial, hit, Robbery Homicide Division marked Michael Mann's return to series television after more than 10 years on the big screen. Maybe he would have been better off returning to NBC. Although Friday at 10:00pm was where Miami Vice had aired, it didn't have to contend with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Never once did RHD air against a rerun of SVU, and no doubt both shows had too much audience overlap for RHD to ever find one. Which very well might have been the intention, since CBS didn't own a piece of the action. Ratings improved dramatically when it was moved to Saturday in The Agency's time slot for a two-week experiment, and, in fact, on December 7, 2002, it topped lead-in The District and won its time slot for the first time -- while The Agency (a show CBS did own a piece of) tanked on Fridays when it aired in RHD's slot. Just when things were starting to look up, Tom Sizemore got arrested on December 11th. And Les Moonves cancelled the series the next day. RHD was repurposed on the Universal-owned USA Network; the unaired episodes were eventually broadcast there.
