This is the story of seven men, each with his own dark secret, who band together to become known as the Magnificent Seven. They learn from each other as they protect those who can not protect themselves. These men include their leader, Chris Larabee: a man running from the pain of his past, Vin Tanner: a sharpshooter, bounty hunter and fugitive, Nathan Jackson: a former slave turned healer, JD Dunne: the kid of the gang, good with a gun but has little experience with real life, Erza Standish: a gambler and con artist, Josiah Sanchez: a former priest fighting off his personal demons and Buck Willington: a ladies man with a heart of gold. This show is based on the movie series from the 60s and 70s, which was in turn based on the 1954 Japanese film "Seven Samurai" by Akira Kurosawa. This show was cancelled by CBS after the first season and was later renewed thanks to a large internet campaign to save the show. The show was again cancelled halfway through its second season run. CBS agreed to air the remaining six episodes, but due to low ratings CBS only aired two of the reaming six episodes. About a year later, TNN aired the entire series.moreless

Wanted: Dead or Alive originally aired in Black and white on CBS. The pilot aired on the series "Trackdown in March 1958.
Bounty hunter Josh Randall was unlike any bounty hunter, he usually gave half or all of his reward money to good causes. He was a gentlemen and very respectful of the elderly. He was a man of few words and seemed to lack emotion but he was adept at using his gun, not an ordinary gun but a .44-.40 sawed-off 1892 Winchester carbine which he had on his "Mare's Leig", BUT the cartridges in his belt were .45-.70! His catch phrase in almost every episode was "Let's Go" which he spoke softly and sounded more like les goo. A treasure one not to be missed, especially to see Mr. Cool himself, Steve McQueen.

The Edge of Night was television's first 30 minute soap opera. The program premiered the same day as As The World Turns which was also (at the time) 30 minutes long. While the show did begin on CBS, it moved in 1975 to ABC when Procter & Gamble wanted to expand As the World Turns to a full hour. During its 1798 episode run the show had an audience of almost 50% men, something unheard of in today's soap world. The show itself was sold as a soap with a strong background in mystery. The show initially worked and became the second most watched serial by 1966. By the end of its run in 1984 however the show dropped to 14th.moreless

My Little Margie was the story of Margie Albright (played by Gale Storm), the vivacious, irrepresable, 21-year-old daughter of Vernon Albright (played by former silent screen star, Charles Farrell), a widowed executive at the investment-counseling firm of Honeywell & Todd. The Albrights resided in a Fifth Avenue apartment in New York. Margie was always trying to help her father get a client, avoid a designing woman, or just to act his age as she felt he should. Margie's elaborate plans almost always included a disguise of some sort, she masqueraded as everything from a male opera singer to Vern's mother to her own, non-exsistant sister to the Albright's equally non-exsistant maid. Usually helping her with her schemes were the spunky Mrs. Odett's, the Albright's aged neighbor, and Freddie Wilson, Margie's ardent boyfriend, whom Vern disliked intently. Other characters in the mix were Mr. Honeywell, Vern's exasperated boss; Roberta, Vern's girlfriend; and Charlie, the elevator operator in the Albright's apartment building. In 1952, the TV series My Little Margie became a radio series, with Gale Storm and Charles Farrell reprising their roles in original episodes which ran concurrently with the TV series.moreless

The problem is that his single mother, Lynne (Mare Winningham) has no idea what he's up to. Until now, he's been the golden boy while his rebellious older sister, Betsy (Kirsten Storms), has always been in the doghouse. On the job, Pete becomes a member of a new family that includes Conrad Dean (Dean Cain), the team's captain and star third baseman and one of the boy's all-time idols, who takes on the role of an older brother. Also in the clubhouse are Pete's boss, Lou Russo (Christopher Lloyd), a gruff but fair equipment manager who becomes a much-needed father figure; Carlos Tavares (John Ortiz), a rookie who believes that Pete is his good luck charm, and Jose Marquez (JD Pardo), the Empires' territorial head batboy. Sammo Law is a Chinese law officer and a martial arts expert transferred to America looking for an old nemesis. During the search, Sammo will join the police department and work with a group of detectives on police cases.

The show ran for two years on CBS, and it endured cast revamps, which were probably the main reason why the show ended only after two years.

After only 5 episodes, Tammy Lauren exited the show, and both Louis Mandylor and Tom Wright exited the show after the first season. During the first season, a new character was introduced (played by Arsenio Hall) and was soon made a regular.
