The Comedians of Comedy is the Comedy Central series that follows famous alternative stand up comedians Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis, Brian Posehn and Maria Bamford, as they hit the road for a six-city tour. The comedians visit Baltimore, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Boston, and Martha's Vineyard, and show the best of their acts and the antics on tour. The group has been performing since 2004, when they shot their documentary film The Comedians of Comedy, where they toured playing small indie rock venues like anti-comic Neil Hamburger pioneered. The documentary was directed by Michael Blieden, and in 2005 Comedy Central commissioned a six-episode television series that Blieden also directed. The show follows the four hilarious comedians as they joke onstage and off, letting us into their daily lives as they buy comic books, get into trouble in the Cracker Barrel gift shop, and have plenty of other antics as they goof off between shows. Join the ride as these four rebels of stand up hit the road in Comedy Central's Comedians of Comedy.moreless
