What first started out as three minute clips on the UK's Paramount Comedy Channel and then evolved into Channel 4's hit show Trigger Happy TV has now become one of American cable network Comedy Central's biggest hits. Comedy Central had such great viewer response when they aired the UK version's original 13 episodes that they decided to bring Dom Joly and his show to the states and produce a whole series of brand new episodes. Luckily, with Dom on board, nothing is lost in the move to the states as the style of the show matches the original. Only this time he's joined by some new accomplices including Travis, as a veteran of hidden camera pranks he was one of the creators of MTV's Buzzkill and also works on Scare Tactics, Jessica, a regular at Comedy Central who has worked on South Park and That's My Bush, and Jerry, a former cast member of Saturday Night Live. If you think the show is pointless, well, that's exactly as Dom intended. He also wants to make sure that this hidden camera show is different, not by making innocent bystanders victims of the pranks, but instead by having them be witness to the shenanigans and then having them go home and say, "You'll never guess what happened to me today!"moreless
