    Toby Logan is a paramedic who can read people's thoughts. Toby did not manage to know his parents and grew in foster homes. Until now Toby has kept his ability secret and the only one he has shared it with is his old counselor and confidant, Dr. Ray. While he crosses the city of Toronto in his ambulance with his partner Oz, Toby tries to help persons in crisis and on the way treat his own wounds. With the help of Detective Marks and his ex-girlfriend Olivia, an E.R doctor, Toby realizes that his gift can serve to help other people. The show, which contains humorous and tragic elements, follows Toby as he uses his power to solve crimes. The Listener is produced by Program Partners in association with Shaftesbury Films. The series has been given a 13 episode initial order by NBC. This series has also been picked up by the FX channel. FX has contributed for the production of the new show so that it can be aired by them. This show first aired in the UK on Sunday 8th March on FX at 9pm (GMT). Gregory Parker (Enrico Colantoni) leads the elite team on their missions. The show is based upon the experiences of the real life Toronto Police Emergency Task Force. On August 26 2008, the show was renewed for a second season. The show originally aired on Friday evenings, but after episode 2 it swapped slots with Swingtown for the remainder of the season. From hip-hop to ballroom, salsa to krumping, watch the best and the worst audition to be Canada's Favorite Dancer. Season 1, which aired its performance shows on Wednesdays (8 p.m., 2 hours), and results shows on Thursdays (30 minutes), saw Nico Archambault crowned "Canada's Favourite Dancer." In October, 2009, Season 1 of So You Think You Can Dance Canada won a Gemini Award for "Best Music, Variety Program or Series". It also received two other nominations: "Best Direction in a Variety Program or Series" -- Sandra Faire, Toronto Auditions; and "Best Performance or Host in a Variety Program or Series" -- Leah Miller, Season 1 Finale. Season 2 aired its performance shows on Tuesdays (8 p.m., 2 hours), and results shows on Wednesdays (30 minutes, 7:30 p.m.) The performance shows are taped before a live studio audience on Sundays; the results shows are taped before a live audience on Wednesdays. Tara-Jean Popowich was crowned "Canada's Favourite Dancer" for season 2. Season 3 had a Top 22, and aired its performance shows on Mondays (9 p.m., 2 hours) with the results shows on Tuesdays (30 minutes, 8:30 p.m.) for the first four weeks. As of the Top 14 show, the performances were shown on Wednesdays (8 p.m., 1 hour), and the results were shown on Thursdays (30 minutes, 8:30 p.m.) The finale was shown on Sunday, October 24, 2010, and Denys Drozdyuk was crowned "Canada's Favourite Dancer" for the third year of the show.moreless

The hosts cover the daily news and weather, while also presenting current events and entertainment news. Correspondents provide medical, financial, diet, fitness, gardening and technological advice. On January 28, 2008, Canada AM changed from a 2.5-hour format to a six-hour format, allowing for live coverage across Canada; the show is broadcast on the regular CTV network station from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., and then continues from 9 a.m. until noon (eastern time) on the CTV NewsNet (cable channel 62 in Toronto), with hosts from B.C. taking over duties from 10 a.m. (eastern) On June 9, 2008, with no fanfare at all, the six-hour format was dropped. The show continued on with a slightly extended version of four hours, still beginning at 6 a.m. with hosts Marci Ien and Jeff Hutcheson present until joined by Seamus O'Regan and Beverly Thomson at 6:30 a.m.; the show aired on CTV until 9 a.m. at which point it switched over to CTV NewsNet for one more hour, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. In September, 2008, again, with no announcement made, the show dropped the 9 - 10 a.m. hour on CTV NewsNet, simply running for 3 hours on CTV's main station.moreless
