Welcome to the New York Undercover guide at TV.com. Filmed on location in New York, New York Undercover is a show about a squad of young urban detectives, J.C. Williams and Eddie Torres who work the streets of New York undercover. Despite all the pain and troubles they go through with their lives, whether it involved their cases or home life, at the end of the day, they relax to the smooth music performed by different artists at Natalie's. Audiences fell in love with the show's plot lines and characters. The episodes had a realistic sense about it that made it one of the top ten shows that aired on FOX. Season 1: In this season, Malik Yoba plays Detective J.C. Williams, a black man who is trying to put in life back in order again after his divorce from his ex wife, Chantal, played by Fatima Faloye. He is also trying to be a good father to his son, Gregory "G", (George O. Gore II) who is going through the motions of growing up and becoming a teenager. The one thing that he is striving to keep is his relationship with his girlfriend, Sandy Gill. Unfortunately, an arch enemy of J.C.'s ends their time together. Michael DeLorenzo plays Detective Eddie Torres, a young Puerto Rican who takes his job to heart. While working on his cases, he is also dealing with his family troubles and has a tendency to struggle with his heritage. Both Eddie and J. C. work under Lt. Virginia Cooper (Patti D'Arbanville), a white mother and wife who doesn't take any hassle from anyone. She does what she can to look out for her detectives and never puts them on a case they couldn't handle. Season 2: In this season, a new character has joined the team. Detective Nina Moreno, played by Lauren Velez, is a young Puerto Rican who was introduced as Eddie's new partner due to J. C. being in the hospital because of his close encounter with death. As she struggles to be a good cop, she also tries to earn respect from Eddie. As for J.C., he is recovering from his wounds caused by his enemy who also killed Sandy. J.C. is once again finds himself struggling to put his life back together and dealing with the loss of Sandy, and can only relieve his pain by getting back on the streets. For Eddie, he tries to get his friendship back with a distant J.C., he is fighting his feelings for Nina, and helps his father who is dying of AIDS. Season 3: In this season, a new detective joins the crew, a relationship heads to a new road, and death takes its ugly toll on two of the detectives. Jonathan LaPaglia joins the cast as Detective Tommy Macnamara, an Irish cop with a know-it-all attitude and a distinctive personality, which doesn't go well with the team, especially J.C. Unfortunately, he was only able to shine his talents for a short while do to his murder. Eddie and Nina goes through many obstacles in their relationship, especially when Nina is trying to recover from a gun shot wound she got last season. Eddie is determined to make it last and asks Nina to marry him; which she accepts. However, in order to make that happen, Nina must divorce her first husband. Nina is also going through the process of trying to get her daughter, whom she gave up for adoption, back into her life. While dealing with that, for a while she starts to question her future as a cop. While Eddie is learning of these new secrets about Nina, he deals with his father's death (or suicide), and unfortunately meets an untimely death. As for Lt. Cooper, she starts an elicit affair with a captain and goes through a rocky separation from her husband and family. Season 4: In this season, two detectives deal with the lose of a friend and a husband, and is assigned to work under a new team. J. C. and Nina are assigned to work under Lt. Malcolm Baker, played by Thomas Mikal Ford, and with their new partners, Detective Alec Stone, played by Josh Hopkins, and Detective Nell Delaney, played by Marisa Ryan. J.C. is coping with Eddie's death and is trying to help his son, "G", grow up to be a man. Nina is trying to survive being a widow and concentrating on being a good detective. As time passes, the two start to form an attraction for each other, which leads to something they both never thought possible. Detective Alec Stone is cocky cop who does what he can to get the job done. Detective Nell Delaney is a tough cop whose smart comments and intelligence keeps her ahead in the game. Finally, we meet Lt. Malcolm Barker, a ferocious cop who knows what he's doing and doesn't let anyone stop him in the actions he makes. Due to the Season's 3 shocker of Eddie's and Tommy's death and the departure of Lt. Cooper, the fans started to lose interest in the show. Ratings slowly started to go down and the show didn't last beyond the 4th season. Still, to this day, the show remains to be one the best show that will be missed.moreless

Millennium was a television series that premiered on Friday October 25, 1996. The series was Chris Carter's much anticipated follow-up to the very popular The X-Files. Millennium focused on the work of ex-FBI profiler Frank Black, who had retired but was brought back in as a consultant. Frank had a special ability to see into the minds of serial killers and to get into their heads. He also worked for a mysterious organization called the Millennium Group which seemed to take a special interest in serial killers and end of the world prophecy. In the first season, Frank lived in Seattle with his wife Catherine and daughter Jordan. The show focused on Frank's work as a profiler. He spent most of his time in the first season trying to solve serial murder cases. During the second season, the show primarily on Frank's relationship with the Millennium Group. He separated from his wife after his violent rescue of her from a stalker. Frank learned that the Millennium Group was a secret society that believed that the world was coming to an end. During that season, Frank spent much of his time working with Millennium Group member Peter Watts and fellow investigator Laura Means. After the death of his wife at the end of the second season, Frank severed all connection with the Millennium Group and returned to work with the FBI. With the help of special agent Emma Hollis, he began to investigate the Millennium Group itself. The show changes direction again this season, however much of the long term questions that were raised during the first two seasons are answered. The show was canceled at the end of the third season, with an unfinished ending. In later 1999, the show received a conclusion of sorts in a crossover with The X-files entitled "Millennium." However very little closure is brought by this episode. There is however as of late rumors that Millennium may be brought back as a movie of some kind in the near future and finish the story. Show Type: Mystery/Thriller/Horror As of late, there has been some speculation in 2008 about the possibility of a "Millennium Movie" however, it is not know how likely this is yet. First Telecast: October 25, 1996 Last Telecast: May 21, 1999 Episodes: In total 67 Color Episodes (67 one-hour episodes, 6 two-part episode) were produced. This series is a spin off of the Spider-man show in 1994. Hijacking a space shuttle to save John Jameson, who crash-landed on another planet as the result of Venom and Carnage attacking his ship during its flight into space, Spider-Man ends up stranded on Counter-Earth, an Earth-like planet in the same orbit on the other side of the sun. On Counter-Earth, he finds a high-tech society where humanoid animals, also known as beastials, rule under the leadership of the High Evolutionary, while humans, the minorities, are seen as second class citizens and must be "tagged" with tracking devices that prevent them from attempting to rebel against the beastials. If that wasn't bad enough, Venom and Carnage are about, having their minds set on global domintation through the help of the Synoptic - a hivemind producing spores that turn people into its mindless slaves. This series ended on a cliffhanger, as Marvel's bankruptcy brought the show to an unexpected end after the first season. Six episodes were produced for the second season, including a conclusion to the first season's finale (which was intended to be a multi-part episode), but never aired. There are currently no plans for a home video release, although Disney has acquired the rights to air and release episodes of the series.moreless

Sherlock Holmes has been rescusitated in the 22nd century to combat Moriarty's clone. With the help of a droid programmed with the personality of Watson, Inspector Beth Lestrade of New Scotland Yard, and the Baker Street Irregulars, Holmes searches for clues and usually manages to come up with a solution that keeps everyone guessing. Characters Sherlock Holmes: Sharp as a tack, but not a real people person, this guy is pretty self explanatory. He uses deductive logic (i.e. All lights in this room are green. There is a light on the table. Therefore it must be green.) to solve crimes. If you listen hard, you can usually follow his explanation, at least by the last few minutes of the show. Watson: A compudroid programmed to have the personality of Watson (complete with the phrase "I don't understand, Holmes. How did you know..."), Watson was initially rejected by Holmes, who thought no one, and especially no robot, could replace the real Watson. Watson is great in a tight spot, as he is much stronger than the average human (and most of the non-average ones as well). Inspector Beth Lestrade: Apparently a descendant of the Lestrade in the original short stories, this girl is something else. Wild, reckless, destructive, always bucking authority, and generally "tough-cop", she is always ready to act on insufficient information. But, all in all, she usually settles down enough to be of some service at least once or twice an episode. Wiggins: A would-be boxer, this guy used to play soccer at Princeton. He is one of the Baker Street Irregulars, employed by Holmes to be an extra set of eyes, ears, and legs. Wiggins checks out leads, shadows people, and generally helps Holmes out by gathering facts. He has a girlfriend named Jacey, but as far as I know she hasn't figured into much. Deidre: This girl is also one of the Baker Street Irregulars, and does mostly the same things as Wiggins. However, she sometimes sees things a different way than either Holmes, Watson, or Wiggins, and this unique perspective makes her invaluable. Tennison: Confined to an anti-grav chair, Tennison is the computer expert of the bunch. He helps Holmes out by checking computer systems and security systems. Moriarty: Cloned back to life as an accident, he is again wreacking havoc, though this time in New London. He is Holmes' archenemy, and was basically the model for a lot of evil geniuses with extensive networks.moreless

You face...The Tick!" The life of a superhero is not easy. There are not enough dangers. However, someone must fight evil and protect good. The few who face this challenge have to leave behind comfort, security and a little sanity. Jumping from roof to roof in one single jump, the mysterious blue justice defender The Tick (Patrick Warburton) patrols The City, and his limited knowledge of human life doesn't interfere with his desire to protect society. The frustrated and well-behaved accountant known as Arthur (David Burke) left his job to join The Tick as The Moth, and now they're a crime-fighting duo. Arthur has always secretly wished being a superhero. Well, not so secretly, since he used his moth outfit (which looks more like a bunny) to work. On this fight against injustice, The Tick also counts on Batmanuel (Nestor Carbonell), a Latino superhero who never promotes himself without a worthy cause. His kryptonite is Captain Liberty (Liz Vassey), the government's number one weapon on the battle against supervillains. The Tick is based on the 'cult' comic character created by Ben Edlund. There was an animated version a few years ago. Check it out here. Originally planned as a 2000-2001 midseason replacement after The Simpsons on Sunday nights, and apparently never thought of as anything more than strike filler for a writer's strike which never happened, FOX toppers Sandy Grushow and Gail Berman changed their minds, keeping Malcolm in the Middle in the slot for another year and pushing The Tick back to fall.
