    FOX (ended 2002)
Can puppets and humans live side by side? In the world of Greg the Bunny, they can. Set in Hollywood, land of movie stars and struggling actors of all fabrics, Greg the Bunny (Dan Milano), a squeaky-voiced rabbit puppet, longs to live the high life -- one where he's got a job or something. Greg's best friend and roommate, Jimmy Bender (Seth Green), is a slacker -- not to mention a human. Jimmy's father, Gil (Eugene Levy), is the blunt and perpetually nervous executive producer/director of the low-budget (and low-rated) children's show, Sweetknuckle Junction. A cross between Sesame Street and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Sweetknuckle mixes the fun of trains with the joy of letters and numbers, and is brought to you by the human co-stars, Junction Jack (Bob Gunton), the conductor, and Dottie Sunshine (Dina Waters), the helper, with funding provided by the puppet co-stars, Professor Ape (Dan Milano), the scholarly monkey, and Count Blah (Drew Massey), the counting vampire. Off-camera, Jack is a gun-toting menace to society; Dottie, an insecure space cadet; Warren Demontague (as the professor is known in real life), a pretentious, sloppy drunk; and Count Blah, a Romanian widower who ends just about every sentence with "blah" and may or may not have stolen his act from The Count... but the kids watching at home didn't know any of that. Sometimes on hand are two more puppet actors, Susan the Monster (James Murray), a masculine, human-sized, shaggy, blue beast, who happens to be a woman, and Tardy Turtle (Victor Yerrid), who's slow in more ways than one. When fate steps in and hands Greg the starring role on the series, Greg's dreams of working outside of March come true. While not as glamorous, Jimmy finds a steady job himself, when his father makes him a production assistant. Overseeing all their actions on the set is the network's brand new executive, Alison Kaiser (Sarah Silverman), a penny-pinching PBS transplant, whose calculated goal of improving the sagging ratings puts her at odds with the cast and crew. Yet, underneath it all, the one thing she secretely wants is their approval. Thrust into this dysfunctional family, Greg gives it his all to save Sweetknuckle Junction from the constant threat of cancellation. Mixing live action and puppetry, Greg The Bunny is based on characters and concepts from the Independent Film Channel series of short films. They grew out of Junktape, the super-low-budget half-hour show produced by Spencer Chinoy and Dan Milano for New York City public access in 1997.
Theme Song Lyrics We can sing and dance and we don’t need pants See, we’re just like you We’ve got regular jobs just with low door knobs See, we’re just like you Yes, we graduate from Harvard Tardy: At the head of my class! But if you take sobriety Warren: I may not pass There’s no strings attached There’s no hand up my (horn sound) We’re Just like you

However, her spirited earnestness and fascination in fortune-telling (especially tarot readings and dowsing) sets her apart. Years ago, her grandmother gave her a set of tarot cards and an unusual red pendant which, along with her enigmatic visions, play a pivotal role her adventures on Earth as well as on Gaea. Van Fanel: Height: 5'5" Weight: 112lbs Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Age: 15 Origin: Fanelia Guymelef: Escaflowne The brash young half-draconian king of Fanelia who must learn to cope with drastic changes in his life after Fanelia was destroyed by Zaibach. He has angel wings which allow him to fly. Allen Schezar: Height: 6' Weight: 150lbs Hair: Blonde Eyes: Blue Age: 21 Origin: Asturia Guymelef: Scherazade The gallant knight of Asturia who seems to provide a foil for Van and a second potential love interest for Hitomi. He lost his younger sister, Celena, his father disappeared, and mother died shortly afterwards when he was a child. While he captures the heart of Princess Millerna of Asturia, he is a noted womanizer. He's a member of the Knight Caeli, Asturia's elite knights. A gifted (yet rebellious) swordsman at a young age, he became one of the most skilled swordsmen of Gaea under the expert tutelage of Balgus of Fanelia. Merle: Height: 5' Weight: 66lbs Hair: Pink Eyes: Brown Age: 13 Origin: Fanelia A cat-girl and childhood friend of Van. Her eldest sister, Marlene, is deceased and was once the wife of Duke Freid and the mother of the Duke's son, Chid. Dryden Fassa: Height: 6'2" Weight: 165lbs Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Origin: Asturia A knowledgeable, successful, and generous merchant who is also a part-time scholar. He is engaged to Millerna through his father Meiden, a friend of Asturia's king. He's perceptive and open-minded and well aware that Millerna is in love with Allen. Bornkirk: Height: n/a Weight: n/a Hair: White Eyes: Brown Age: 200+ Origin: Earth The leader of Zaibach and main antagonist of the series. He is said to be the equivalent of two hundred Earth years old and is hinted to be Isaac Newton (although this is debatable). He continually tries to see into the future with his destiny prognostication machine to create an ideal future for Gaea by unlocking the secrets of Atlantis, which Hitomi's visions of the future and Van's connection to Escaflowne continually interfere with. His idea of an ideal future is the creation of a "zone of absolute fortune", in which everyone's dreams would come true. However, it is that very power that destroyed Atlantis in the first place. Folken Fanel: Height: 6'3" Weight: 208lbs Hair: Blue Eyes: Brown Age: 25 Origin: Fanelia The Strategos (Japanese gunji or "tactician") of Zaibach, Folken is revealed to be Van's older brother and the original heir to Fanelia. He, like Van, is half Draconian and thus he also has angel wings. He originally joined Zaibach in hopes of realizing Zaibach's ideals of world free of war, but is later disillusioned and defects to those who fight Zaibach. His wings turn black, a sure sign that his life is coming to an end. As it does when he travels back to Zaibach to confront Dornkirk. Although Draconians have a long lifespan, Dornkirk's experiments have left their toll. In the earlier episodes of the series Folken is referred to as Strategos, which is the rank of Imperial advisor to Dornkirk.Countries and places: Gaea - A mystical world in the sky that Hitomi visits and where the series takes place. Earth can be seen as a moon in the sky. It was created by the Atlantians. Mystic Moon - This is what the residents of Gaea call Earth. It has a reputation for being a cursed place among the people of Gaea. It appears as though the people of Gaea know nothing about what the Earth really is, although Hitomi is hinted (and later shown) not to be the first person to come to Gaea from Earth. Fanelia - A small kingdom in Gaea ruled by the Fanel family of which Van is king. It is demolished by Zaibach near the beginning of the series and it rebuilt at the very end of the series. Fanelia bears some similarities to feudal-era Japan. Asturia - A major kingdom in Gaea that was initially allied with Zaibach before leading an alliance against them. The country is a monarchy and it's greatest warriors are known as the "Knights of Caeli". Asturia bears some resemblance to Renaissance-era Venice. Freid - A duchy in Gaea that is ruled by the Freid family. It has an ancient artifact that Dornkirk needs to complete his plan to revive the power of Atlantis. This artifacts draws the attention of Zaibach who invades Freid. Freid is said to have been based on Thailand. Zaibach - A large powerful nation ruled by Dornkirk that possesses very advanced technology. They seek to create a new era of peace by controlling the world and are led by Dornkirk. Zaibach is similar to Industrial Revolution-era England. Atlantis - An ancient, mysterious civilization on Earth that was destroyed after its inhabitants created a device to turn human will into energy. The few survivors are known as "Draconians" and live on Gaea, although it is unknown how many Draconians are left. Most of the main characters of the show visit the ruins of Atlantis late in the series.moreless

Based on the award-winning book by S.E. Hinton and the film by Francis Coppola, comes the TV series of "The Outsiders". The story of the Curtis brothers, Darry, Soda Pop, and Pony Boy, struggling to make it as a family. According to Ponyboy, there's two kinds of people in the world: greasers and socs. A soc (short for "social") has money, can get away with just about anything, and has an attitude longer than a limousine. A greaser, on the other hand, always lives on the outside and needs to watch his back. Ponyboy is a greaser, and he's always been proud of it, even willing to rumble against a gang of socs for the sake of his fellow greasers--until one terrible night when his friend Johnny kills a soc. The murder gets under Ponyboy's skin, causing his bifurcated world to crumble and teaching him that pain feels the same whether a soc or a greaser. This classic, written by S. E. Hinton when she was 16 years old, is as profound today as it was when it was first published in 1967. From Producer FRANCIS COPPOLA and Writer/Director ALAN SHAPIRO comes the Fox network's acclaimed series, "THE OUTSIDERS."moreless

Welcome to the New York Undercover guide at TV.com. Filmed on location in New York, New York Undercover is a show about a squad of young urban detectives, J.C. Williams and Eddie Torres who work the streets of New York undercover. Despite all the pain and troubles they go through with their lives, whether it involved their cases or home life, at the end of the day, they relax to the smooth music performed by different artists at Natalie's. Audiences fell in love with the show's plot lines and characters. The episodes had a realistic sense about it that made it one of the top ten shows that aired on FOX. Season 1: In this season, Malik Yoba plays Detective J.C. Williams, a black man who is trying to put in life back in order again after his divorce from his ex wife, Chantal, played by Fatima Faloye. He is also trying to be a good father to his son, Gregory "G", (George O. Gore II) who is going through the motions of growing up and becoming a teenager. The one thing that he is striving to keep is his relationship with his girlfriend, Sandy Gill. Unfortunately, an arch enemy of J.C.'s ends their time together. Michael DeLorenzo plays Detective Eddie Torres, a young Puerto Rican who takes his job to heart. While working on his cases, he is also dealing with his family troubles and has a tendency to struggle with his heritage. Both Eddie and J. C. work under Lt. Virginia Cooper (Patti D'Arbanville), a white mother and wife who doesn't take any hassle from anyone. She does what she can to look out for her detectives and never puts them on a case they couldn't handle. Season 2: In this season, a new character has joined the team. Detective Nina Moreno, played by Lauren Velez, is a young Puerto Rican who was introduced as Eddie's new partner due to J. C. being in the hospital because of his close encounter with death. As she struggles to be a good cop, she also tries to earn respect from Eddie. As for J.C., he is recovering from his wounds caused by his enemy who also killed Sandy. J.C. is once again finds himself struggling to put his life back together and dealing with the loss of Sandy, and can only relieve his pain by getting back on the streets. For Eddie, he tries to get his friendship back with a distant J.C., he is fighting his feelings for Nina, and helps his father who is dying of AIDS. Season 3: In this season, a new detective joins the crew, a relationship heads to a new road, and death takes its ugly toll on two of the detectives. Jonathan LaPaglia joins the cast as Detective Tommy Macnamara, an Irish cop with a know-it-all attitude and a distinctive personality, which doesn't go well with the team, especially J.C. Unfortunately, he was only able to shine his talents for a short while do to his murder. Eddie and Nina goes through many obstacles in their relationship, especially when Nina is trying to recover from a gun shot wound she got last season. Eddie is determined to make it last and asks Nina to marry him; which she accepts. However, in order to make that happen, Nina must divorce her first husband. Nina is also going through the process of trying to get her daughter, whom she gave up for adoption, back into her life. While dealing with that, for a while she starts to question her future as a cop. While Eddie is learning of these new secrets about Nina, he deals with his father's death (or suicide), and unfortunately meets an untimely death. As for Lt. Cooper, she starts an elicit affair with a captain and goes through a rocky separation from her husband and family. Season 4: In this season, two detectives deal with the lose of a friend and a husband, and is assigned to work under a new team. J. C. and Nina are assigned to work under Lt. Malcolm Baker, played by Thomas Mikal Ford, and with their new partners, Detective Alec Stone, played by Josh Hopkins, and Detective Nell Delaney, played by Marisa Ryan. J.C. is coping with Eddie's death and is trying to help his son, "G", grow up to be a man. Nina is trying to survive being a widow and concentrating on being a good detective. As time passes, the two start to form an attraction for each other, which leads to something they both never thought possible. Detective Alec Stone is cocky cop who does what he can to get the job done. Detective Nell Delaney is a tough cop whose smart comments and intelligence keeps her ahead in the game. Finally, we meet Lt. Malcolm Barker, a ferocious cop who knows what he's doing and doesn't let anyone stop him in the actions he makes. Due to the Season's 3 shocker of Eddie's and Tommy's death and the departure of Lt. Cooper, the fans started to lose interest in the show. Ratings slowly started to go down and the show didn't last beyond the 4th season. Still, to this day, the show remains to be one the best show that will be missed.moreless
