Their worlds couldn't be more different but their commitment and passion brings them together. Strong Medicine is a sometimes intense, sometimes hilarious medical drama that takes us inside the world of street level medicine. Dr. Dana Stowe, a Harvard graduate who devotes her life to finding a cure for cancer, and Dr. Lu Delgado, a single mother whose disdain for "the system" has her battling bureaucracy and the budget-concerned chief of staff Dr. Robert Jackson, come together to start The Rittenhouse Women's Health Clinic in Philadelphia. Saucy receptionist Lana Hawkins, attractive Nurse Peter Riggs, and ER Doctor Nick Biancavilla also work in the clinic. Dr. Stowe leaves the clinic to care for her adopted children in season 3 and is replaced by former Army Colonel Dr. Andy Campbell who immediately begins a duel with Lu but after working together for a while, they become close friends. After season four, Nick is transferred to another hospital and Andy takes on Intern Kayla Thorton. Then, in the shocking end to season five, Andy is appointed Surgeon General of the United States and leaves the hospital. Now, Doctor Dylan West has taken Doctor Campbell's place. Strong Medicine is both tough and tender, pulling your heart-strings one moment, making you laugh the next, and even making you hold your breath during each episode. Broadcast History:
Season One - Sundays at 9:00 pm
Season Two - Fridays at 9:00 pm

Blood Ties was broadcast in America on Lifetime cable network in 2007. Although filmed as one 22-episode season, the network split it into two seasons. The first 12 episodes were broadcast winter through spring of 2007, with eight of the final 10 episodes broadcast in autumn 2007. Season two was part of a block of programming called "Psy-Fridays" where Blood Ties was joined by reality show Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead and game show America's Psychic Challenge. According to press reports at the time, Lifetime opted to move the final two episodes of season two to their website for streaming because the game show and reality series had finished their runs after eight episodes. With no supernatural programming to take their places, Lifetime chose not to finish Blood Ties' season with traditional broadcasts. There were rumors of a possible season three, but Lifetime effectively canceled the series when it was not part of their 2008 upfront presentation in April 2008.moreless
