From award-winning producer David E. Kelley (The Practice, Ally McBeal) comes “The Law Firm,” featuring 12 real lawyers competing against each other for a $250,000 prize. The lawyers, split into two teams, will try real cases in an actual court where the outcomes are legally binding. The managing partner of “The Law Firm” is top trial attorney and legal analyst Roy Black, who decides which of the 12 will be eliminated in each episode. Though early on it was thought that Black would send home a lawyer from the losing team, much like in the "Apprentice," Black has announced that winning a case does not guarantee immunity. Black can send somone home from the winning team if he feels that player was the worst in that case. UPDATE: NBC pulled "The Law Firm" from the schedule after two weeks on the air. The remaining episodes were aired on NBC's sister network, Bravo.moreless

In this second edition of Who Wants To Marry My Dad, the three adult daughters of a handsome single father choose among thirteen women to decide which one would be the ideal wife for their Dad. Promising even more surprising twists and turns than the original series, "Dad" will also include the popular lie detector tests and outrageous "secret facts" about contestants that made the show such a hit with viewers last summer. With an emphasis on romance, the series follows the courtship of "Dad" and the female contestants over six episodes. Adding to the fun will be a secret mole (the kids' aunt pretending to be one of the contestants), "Dad" going undercover in the first episode to secretly meet the women without them knowing it's him and a high-stakes adventure where the women's ex-boyfriends show up as jockeys on horseback at Santa Anita racetrack. In the end, the girls will decide which woman "Dad" will marry – and their father proposes to the winner. The series is from NBC Universal Television Studio, Nash Entertainment and Satin Productions. Bruce Nash ("For Love or Money") – who created both "Meet My Folks" and "Who Wants to Marry My Dad?" – serves as executive producer along with Scott Satin ("The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments").moreless

NBC's reality show put viewers in the life of someone who just won $5 million.... well, sort of. The premise of the show is that Chrissy Sanford, a small-town girl living with her family, must trick them into believing that she actually won $5 million from a website called thebigwin.net. What her family does not know is that the entire thing is a hoax, and Chrissy is in on it. She must "spend" the entire $5 million on herself. However, what she spends her money on has already been arranged, and the actors portraying the salespeople are there to make sure she spends an outrageous amount of money everywhere she goes. If Chrissy is able to spend all $5 million on herself, without breaking down or telling her family the truth, then she wins a big prize for her and her family. On the season finale, Chrissy will spin the "thebigwin.net wheel" where she can end up winning even more than $5 million. It is after she spins the wheel that she must announce to her family (all of whom must be in attendance while she spins the wheel for her to win her real prize) that the entire thing was a hoax.moreless
