    Avatar: The Last Airbender

    Avatar: The Last Airbender

    Follow
    Nickelodeon (ended 2008)
In a lost age, the world is divided into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Within each nation, there is a remarkable order of men and women called the "benders" who can learn to harness their inborn talent and manipulate their native element. Bending is a powerful form combining martial art and elemental magic. In each generation, only one bender is solely capable of controlling all four elements. That bender is the Avatar. The Avatar is the spirit of the world manifested in human form. When the Avatar dies, it reincarnates into the next nation in the cycle. Starting with the mastery of his or her native element, the Avatar learns to bend all four elements. Throughout the ages, the countless incarnations of the Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony. Then, the Fire Nation launched a war against the other three nations. Just as the world needed the Avatar the most, he mysteriously vanished. A hundred years later, the Fire Nation is near final victory in its ruthless war of world domination. The Air Nomads were destroyed, the Air Temples ravished, and all airbender monks eradicated. The Water Tribes were raided and driven to the brink of extinction. The Earth Kingdom remains and fights a hopeless war against the Fire Nation. Many believe the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and the cycle is broken. In the desolated South Pole, a lone Water tribe struggles to survive. It is here that the village's last remaining waterbender Katara and her warrior brother Sokka rescue a strange 12-year-old boy named Aang who has been suspended in hibernation in an iceberg. The Water tribe soon discovers that Aang is not only an Airbender--the extinct race no one has seen in a century--but also the long lost Avatar. Now Katara and Sokka must safeguard the child Avatar in his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation. Season 1 is titled "Book One: Water", and Season 2 is titled "Book Two: Earth." Each of these seasons contains twenty "chapters." Season 3 is titled "Book Three: Fire", and contains 21 "chapters." Also Known As...: UK: Avatar: The Legend of Aang Latin America: Avatar: La Leyenda de Aang (The Legend of Aang) Brazil: Avatar: A Lenda de Aang (The Legend of Aang) Italy: Avatar: La Leggenda di Aang (The Legend of Aang) Germany: Avatar: Der Herr Der Elemente (The Master of the Elements) Spain:Avatar: La leyenda de Aang (The Legend of Aang) Holland: Avatar: De legende van Aang (The Legend of Aang) Opening Themes: The Pilot: Water. Earth. Fire. Air. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days. The time of peace. When the Avatar kept balance between Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar masters all four elements. Only he can stop the ruthless firebenders. But when the world needed him most, He vanished. One hundred years have passed, and Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Two years ago, my father and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into Air Nomads, and that the circle is broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that, somehow, The Avatar will return to save the world. Chapters 3+ Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony, But everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Only the Avatar, the master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. One hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. Although his airbending skills are great, He has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe, Aang can save the world. The show retains the same opening theme through the second and third season. All three opening themes are voiced by Mae Whitman as Katara.moreless

    Danny Phantom

    Danny Phantom

    Follow
    Nickelodeon (ended 2007)
From Butch Hartman, the creator of the hit Nicktoon, The Fairly OddParents, unveils the funny, fantastic action-packed adventures of Danny Fenton, who straddles two worlds as a shy freshman at Casper High and a heroic phantom-fighter with ghostly superpowers. With his best friends, techno-geek Tucker and free-thinking Goth girl Sam, he thwarts the misdeeds of menacing ghosts; and stumbles through daily social hurdles. - Danny Phantom Press Kit. "It's a great comedy/action show that I think you and all the other Nickelodeon animation fans are really going to love. And it's a bit different than anything Nickelodeon has done before. They're 22-minute stories, which is a different storytelling format for us." - Butch Hartman Not seeing is believing.. Character Guide: Danny Fenton/Phantom - On the outside, Danny's a nervous, clumsy 14 year old boy who just tries to fit in with the crowd. But underneath that exterior, Danny's a super hero! After an accident in his parents' lab, Danny was given some ghostly powers. Half ghost, Danny can see, hear, and talk to other paranormal beings - not to mention battle them on a regular basis to save his friends, family and, you know, the rest of the planet. Too bad he's still afraid of them! Jazz Fenton - Danny may have the super powers in his family, but Jazz has the looks, the brains, and the social skills. Being the older sister and all, Jazz keeps Danny's big secret. Not only because she's Danny's older sister, but because she has to mountain a perfect image in front of her friends and school-mates. Jack Fenton (Dad) - If Danny seems a little strange sometimes, it's probably from the genetics of the bizzare behavior of his Dad, Jack. Geared up in his bright-red "test pilot suit," Jack is always trying to prove the existence of ghosts. He always jumps into action before thinking and usually makes a bad situation worse. For Danny, fighting ghosts and surviving high school is a piece of cake compared to keeping Jack out of trouble. Maddie Fenton (Mom) - Maddie is absolutely brilliant. Need to know why walls suddenly bleed, why possessed statues are reciting Shakespeare, or how to get rid of that ghost that's been following you for days? Maddie's got the answer. But all that time spent with out-of-this-world weirdness (including Mr. Fenton) has kind of had an affect on Maddie. Let's just say you'd most likely find her building a high-tech ghost gadget than baking cookies. Tucker Foley - If talking was a superpower, Tucker would be the king of superheroes. No matter how many ghosts are chasing him, Tucker just keeps on chatting, and it gets him and Danny into loads of trouble. Danny still likes him as a friend, although it would be nice if Tucker kept his mouth shut and let Danny handle the paranormal activity. Samantha "Sam" Manson - Sam and Danny ARE NOT A COUPLE! They're just really, really good friends who share an almost psychic connection. Get it? Well, Samantha doesn't care if you don't believe her, anyway. Sam is a Goth girl and Ultra-Recyclo Vegetarian with an attitude and she could care less about what others think of her. Luckily for Danny, Sam is into the paranormal and is super smart, she's usually a big help to Danny getting him out of tight ghost-jams. Mr. Lancer - The Vice Principal and English teacher at Danny's school, Mr. Lancer is all about following the rules. He has no clue about Danny's phantom status, but it wouldn't matter anyway. Mr. Lancer just can't handle any kid (phantom or not) breaking the rules. Which means Danny has to find a creative ways to battle ghosts on school days if he wants to save Casper High and actually graduate. Dash Baxter - He may be a ninth-grader like Danny, but Dash is the big man on campus at Casper High. Guys want to be him and girls want to date him. And this football hero likes nothing more than harassing Danny. But the tables have turned now that Danny has ghost powers. Danny sometimes can't resist making Dash look like a fool. Which, considering Dash's brain compared to the rest of his body, isn't that hard to do. Theme Song: He's a phantom, Danny Phantom, Danny Phantom, Phantom... Young Danny Fenton, he was just 14, When his parents built a very strange machine, It was designed to view a world unseen, He's gonna catch em all 'cause he's Danny Phantom. When it didn't quite work his folks, they just quit, But then Danny took a look inside of it, There was a great big flash, everything just changed, His molecules got all rearranged. Phantom, Phantom... When he first woke up, he realized, He had snowy white hair, and glowy green eyes, He could walk through walls, disappear, and fly, He was much more unique than the other guy, And it was then that he knew what he had to do, He had to stop all the ghosts that were comin' through, He's here to fight for me and you! He's gonna catch 'em all 'cause he's Danny Phantom, Gonna catch 'em all 'cause he's Danny Phantom, Gonna catch 'em all 'cause he's... Danny Phantom. Fenton Inventions:Fenton Ghost Portal - A device which looks very similar to a wormhole door, however, it allows ghosts to come through it to enter the Real World and people to enter the Ghost Zone. It has a barrier across it, which spontaneously opens and closes. When Danny was inside it, his hand accidentally pressed against the "on" button, which activated the portal. This caused the ectoplasmic energy inside the portal to fuse with Danny's genes to make him half ghost, complete with ghost powers. • Fenton Thermos - normal thermos that captures ghosts and contains them in there until somebody releases them. After a ghost is captured, it is put in a slot next to a ghost portal, so the ghost will be transferred to the Ghost Zone. To Jack's knowledge, it doesn't work; but Danny managed to fuse his ectoplasmic energy with it to activate it, making it accessible to both ghosts and humans. • Fenton Xtractor - A vacuum that can harm ghosts and suck a ghost out of a human's body. • Fenton Finder - A mechanical device that uses satellites to track down ghosts. It later comes with a screen which displays the ghost located. • Fenton Grappler - A net that traps ghosts. • Fenton Ghost Fisher - A high-tech retractable fishing rod with a specialized ectoplasmo resin line unbreakable and inescapable to ghosts. • Fenton Urinal - A regular toilet with the word "Fenton" in front of it. • Ghost Gabber - A mechanical device that translates ghost language into human language, although it seems to add the phrase 'fear me' after every translation. • Fenton Ghost Weasel - A device which sucks up ambient ghost energy, and on reverse shoots it back out. It is also capable of cramming a ghost into its small cubic container. • Fenton Unlodger - A device used to unlodge the other inventions. • Ghost Gloves - Gloves that are so powerful that nothing can break their grip, allowing the wearer to handle ghosts/ghost-powered beings. • Fenton Ghost Catcher - Sort of like an "Indian Dream Catcher," but it captures ghosts and not dreams. After going through it, a ghost is unleashed. • Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle - Also known as the "Fenton RV." It is a van that is monitored by the Fenton On-Board Computer, plus it contains many devices in it that can be used to harm ghosts, including a freeze ray, an ectoplasmic energy beam, lightning, ectoplasmic goo, an anti-ghost shield, etc. • Specter Speeder - A hovercraft-like vehicle that has state of the art spirit plane technology including an earthly item scanner and a super- cup holder. It can be used in both the Ghost Zone and Earth. It phases through anything in the Ghost Zone and is also capable of cramming many ghosts inside it. • Fenton Ghost Peeler - A device which to encase its user in body armor and then fires ectoplasmic rays at ghosts to peel them apart atom by atom. It can also rip through a human's clothes. • Fenton Stockades - An iron maiden with the word "Fenton" in front of it. • Fenton Phones - Little speakerphones that to put in the ears, which primarily serves as a ghost noise filter (to prevent the user from falling under the influence of "ghost noise," such as Ember's music) and walkie talkie "accessories." However, they also work as wireless earphones. • Fenton Helmet - A mind-controlled helmet that can be used as a game controller for a computer game. • Fenton Foamer - Ejects green ectoplasmic goo which clears an area that has ghosts. • Fenton Genetic Lock - It closes the Fenton Portal until a Fenton puts their thumb on the pad, which opens it. • Fenton Anti-Creep Stick - A regular baseball bat with the word 'Fenton' on it. • Fenton Bazooka - A type of gun that shoots a green substance into the air, which creates a mini portal into the Ghost Zone, however its ammo is limited. • Anti-Ghost Shield - A shield that is nearly impenetrable to ghosts and ghost-possessed humans> However, some versions allow ghosts already inside the shield to get out of it. Some versions also shock half-ghosts who try to go ghost inside it. The Fenton RV has a mini ghost shield, but lasts for only fifteen minutes. • Fenton Specter Deflector - A belt that repels and weakens any ghost that comes in direct contact of the person wearing it. • Jack-A-Nine-Tails - A nine-tail whip, like a cat o' nine tails. • Fenton Machete - A regular jungle sword. • Emergency Op-Center - The metal contraption that is located on top of FentonWorks. It can be controlled using the secret control panel. It also contains many things along with a ghost shield generator, a siren, a weathervane, and a "Go Fenton" logo with Jack's face on it. • Fenton Pants - Part of the Ecto-Skeleton, which gives the user the ability to run at super fast speed and the ability to kick with enhanced strength. • Ecto-Skeleton - A battle suit that is capable of increasing a person's natural abilities 100-fold in order to defeat any ghost, no matter how powerful. Although the glitchy interface could kill the user. • Ecto-Exitus Alarm - An alarm that goes off when a town is about to face a massive ghost invasion. • Fenton Wipe - Toilet paper with Jack's face imprinted onto every square. • Booo-Merang - A boomerang that tracks a ghost's specific ecto-signature and seeks it out wherever it goes. • Fenton On-Board Computer - A computer that monitors the Fenton RV. • Fenton Ejector - A seat ejector inside the Fenton RV that ejects the driver and the passengers. • Fenton Ointment - An ointment that treats skin itchiness. Jack calls it "Fointment." • Fenton Earplugs - Normal earplugs with the word "Fenton" in front of them. • Fenton Towel - A normal towel with the word "Fenton" in front of it.moreless

    Animorphs

    Animorphs

    Follow
    Nickelodeon (ended 1999)
We can't tell you who we are. Or where we live. It's too risky, and we've got to be careful. Really careful. So we don't trust anyone. Because if they find us ... well, we just won't let them find us. The things you should know is that everyone is in really big trouble. Yeah. Even You.

Animorphs was originally based on the book series created by K.A. Applegate. Most of the episodes that have appeared are based on one of the books, but some are totally created by one of the Television crew. In this battle against parasitic aliens, called Yeerks, five children, Jake played by Shawn Ashmore, Rachel played by Brooke Nevin, Marco played by Boris Cabrera, and Tobias who is played by Christopher Ralph; was given the power to morph into any creature by an Andalite named Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul (Diego Matamoros) to fight Visser Three (Eugene Lipinski) and his fellow Yeerks. An Andalite who is named Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill (Paulo Costanzo), the brother of Elfangor joins the battle along the Animorphs.

It has been over five years since the Animorphs joined up, and given the power to morph into creatures, to fight the evil Yeerks. It was an amazing battle; the Animorphs had some good times, and some bad times, but they were always together, trying to save the world.

It was June 1996, when the first Animorphs book was released by K.A. (Katherine) Applegate, and now, the last book written was in 2001. The count of 54 regular Animorph books, 4 Megamorphs, 4 Chronicles, and 2 Alternamorphs, and including 26 episodes of the Animorphs TV Series, and an incredible supply of merchandise (transformers, games, etc...) and a television show in 1998 due to the rising popularity of the books.

Now, that huge battle between good and evil, the human race fighting along side with the Andalites, and many other species, battling against the parasitic aliens, Yeerks, has ended.

However, due to ratings and the show's inability to outdo the ratings FOX's Goosebumps had achieved the previous year, Nickelodeon's executives abruptly ended the show in the fall of 1999; there was no "big finish" finale and the show never had its own version of the books' ending between the Animorphs and Visser Three. Since the books would outdo the show into early 2000, there had been no plan for an ending anyway. However, it would have been too costly to follow like the books' ending, since the series' conclusion involved a nuclear strike on the Yeerk pool and many other horrific (hard to do with Nickelodeon's budget) battles.moreless

    Character Guide

    Manny Rivera/El Tigre

For the most part, Manny Rivera is a well-meaning kid with the energy and the spirit of a hero. But Manny is no goody-two-shoes. He's also got some serious supervillian potential. When he spins his mystical belt buckle, Manny transforms into the brave and powerful El Tigre, who struggles with whether to use his superpowers for good or evil.

    Frida Faurez

Frida is Manny's best friend. But she's not always the best influence on Manny. She always has his back when he's in trouble, but she is usually the one who gets him into it. Frida is up for just about anything, the superpower stuff doesn't phase her.

    Rodolfo Rivera/White Pantera

Manny's father Rodolfo is a good old-fashioned dad, complete with rules and orders that Manny doesn't always follow. He is also a semi-retired super-hero known as the White Pantera.

    Grandpapi Rivera/Puma Loco

Manny's Grandpapi is the nicest old man out there. But he is also evil to the core, and wants Manny to be the same way. He is a retired super-villian known as Puma Loco. To describe his relationship with his son (Manny's super-hero father) it would be: love/hate.moreless

    Legends Of The Hidden Temple

    Legends Of The Hidden Temple

    Follow
    Nickelodeon (ended 1995)
Legends of the Hidden Temple was a show that aired in mid-September 1993. Kirk Fogg, the host, would be introduced by Olmec, a large talking rock in the middle of the stage. Kirk Fogg would ask Olmec what legend they'd hear about that day, and Olmec would name a historical figure and an item used by them. (i.e. Galilleo's Cannonball, The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley, the Lost Lion Tale of Little John, etc.) Kirk would then repeat what Olmec said and would then introduce the teams. ROUND 1: THE MOAT The Moat started off with all six teams (The Red Jaguars, Blue Barracudas, Green Monkies, Orange Iguanas, Purple Parrots and the Silver Snakes). Each team consisted of a boy and girl. The Moat was a small pool built into the stage. After the teams were introduced, Kirk Fogg (the first year) or Olmec (years 2 and 3) would tell the teams how to cross the moat. Sometimes it consisted of climbing across tire swings, paddling your way across and other creative ways. Falling into the water usually made the team go back to the starting line and try again. Once the first partner crossed, the second partner would usually cross the moat in the same manner. Once both partners got to the other side, they would hit their gong. (which was basically a small podium with a button that lit up and made a sound once the player hit it) The first four teams to hit their gongs would proceed to the Steps of Knowledge. The two other teams would be eliminated. ROUND 2: THE STEPS OF KNOWLEDGE The four teams leftwould be at the top of a roll-away staircase. Olmec would tell a brief story about how the Historical Figure came across and/or used the artifact that he mentioned at the beginning of the show, and after the story, Olmec would quiz the players on their memory of the story. If a team thought they knew the answer, they'd buzz in by stomping on an "ancient marking" in front of them. If they got the question right, they would move down a step. If they gave an incorrect response or took too long to answer, they would be excluded from answering the question and the other teams would get the chance to. Once a team got three correct answers, they'd move down to the bottom level of the stairs and move on to Round 3. Once two teams accomplished that, both would move on to the Temple Games. ROUND 3: THE TEMPLE GAMES The two remaining teams went on to the Temple Games. There were three temple games...one for the boys, one for the girls, and one for both. The first two would be played for half a pendant of life, and the third would be played for a full pendant. Each Temple Game required the players to do a physically challenging task, such as knocking down opponents statues, tossing a (fake) boulder to your teammate and having them catch it, and other things like that. Each Temple Game usually lasted for 60 seconds. Whichever team won or was further along in that time won the game and would recieve the pendant it was worth. If the game was a tie, both teams would get the pendant. At the end of the third Temple Game, whichever team had the most pendants went on to the fourth and final round. If both teams had the same amount of pendants, a tie-breaker question was asked and whichever team got it right went on to the Temple. No pendants could be won from a tie-breaking question. ROUND 4: THE TEMPLE This is probably the most exciting round of the game. The last remaining team would navigate Olmec's temple (which consisted of 12 rooms). Before they entered the Temple, Olmec would explain how to open the doors in all the rooms of the temple. However, there were at least two doors leading out of almost every room, and there was no telling which one would open once the objective to open the door was completed. The pendants of life earned in the temple games played a huge role in how the team could do in the temple. In three rooms, there were temple guards. If you went into a room with one, it would come out and grab the player. If the player had a full pendant handy, they could give it to the Temple Guard and the Temple Guard would back off. If the player did not have a full pendant, the Temple Guard would take them out of the Temple and their teammate would have to go in and finish the job. In one of the rooms was the artifact mentioned at the beginning of the show. If they grabbed it, all the doors to the Temple would unlock and any of the remaining Temple Guards would retreat. The team had 3 minutes to go in the temple, grab the artifact and come out. If the team had 1 1/2 pendants, the other half of a full pendant would usually be in a well hidden part of the Temple. Getting it would give the team an extra life and an invulnerability to temple guards and could only lose if time ran out. If the team got the artifact and came out of the temple, they would win the grand prize.moreless

    Nickelodeon (ended 1997)
If you think your school is a dump, think yourself lucky you don't go to the Monster Academy. It's an UNDERNEATH one!

But then again, this is no ordinary school, and Ickis, Krumm and Oblina are no ordinary students either... Welcome to the land of AAAHH!!! Real Monsters, where, at the Monster Academy, up-and-coming students learn the terrifying tricks of the monster trade, and get the necessary qualifications for a life of advance scarifying (their GCS-Eeks?).

Here, the insecure Ickis, the stinky-armpitted Krumm, and the candycane-shaped Oblina deal with issues like how to best scare supermarket shoppers, where to hide under the bed, and what to do with your eyeballs when you're not holding them in your mouth (here's a hint: juggle them).

All of this goes on under the watchful eyes of their teacher, the fearful Gromble. While these walking nightmares always find new ways to get into trouble, they survive their adventures by sticking together, sometimes literally!

Did you Know? A movie was once considered by the creators.

    *Characters*

Ickis: A rabbit-eared, 34-toothed, yellow eyed, pink furred monster. He is constantly losing his Monster Manual. Hates Gromble.

Krumm: Very hairy, with blue lips, and eyes held constantly in his hands. Usually he keeps his eyes in water at night or in his mouth when he needs his arms.

Oblina: When you hear the term "Skinny as a stick", it's referring to Oblina. Has a white body with black stripes and bulging eyes like a slug or snail. Has four teeth, four strands of hair on her head, and the most intelligent of the bunch. She can even pull organs out of her body!

Gromble: Has a green beard, green fur, black hands, yellow teeth, bulging eyes line Oblina's, and bright red lips. Head teacher of the Monster Academy. Constantly punishing Zimbo and Snorch. Common Quote: "Pay attention, Ickis."moreless

My Life as a Teenage Robot

My Life as a Teenage Robot

    Nickelodeon (ended 2009)
While most kids think their own problems are the end of the world, there's one girl whose problems really are the end of the world. My Life as a Teenage Robot is the story of Jenny, a super-powered robot with a super-sensitive teenage heart. Her primary function is to protect the planet from certain disaster, but, like all teenagers, she has her own ideas about how she would like to live. Defending the Earth has become a mundane chore, and she would rather do more exciting things like go to high school and be allowed to drive the family car. My Life as a Teenage Robot, a spin-off from Nickelodeon's hit Oh Yeah! Cartoons (under the name My Neighbor Has A Teenage Robot), was created by Rob Renzetti and is executive produced by Renzetti and Fred Seibert. This show is the third of three spinoffs of Oh Yeah! Cartoons, the others being ChalkZone and Fairly OddParents. Characters: Global Robotic Response Unit XJ9, aka Jenny Wakeman - XJ9 is just like any other robot designed to defend the planet. She's powerful, confident, clever, brave...oh yeah, and she's gotta be home by 9! Jenny, as XJ9 likes to be called, is spunky, dramatic and prone to major mood swings (sound familiar?). She's also obsessed with pop stars, teen magazines and fitting in with the cool kids. Just like a regular teenager, right? Well, yeah...if regular teenagers were 6 feet tall and made of metal! XJ9's creator (a.k.a. mom) is constantly reminding her of her planetary responsibilities, but Jenny's tired of saving the world and just wants to hang out with her friends. What's a teenage robot to do? Bradley "Brad" Carbunkle - Brad is the boy next door. He's Jenny's closest neighbor and her best friend. Brad's not really interested in the stuff his friends at school are into, and wishes he were more like Jenny. He loves a good adventure and he's dying for a chance to explore the world outside high school. To Jenny, Brad's the reference point to all things "teenaged." He's the gatekeeper of "cool." Only Brad gets bored talking about all that lame teenager stuff and jumps at every chance to get in on Jenny's universe-saving superhero action. Guess the grass really IS greener on the other side of the fence... Tucker "Tuck" Carbunkle - Unlike his older brother Brad, Tuck is suspicious of the unknown and likes to be surrounded by familiar things and faces. He has a whole assortment of hidden fears and anxieties (let's just say he's not a fan of ferris wheels!) At first, Tuck was terrified of Jenny too, but after an unplanned tag-along on a meteor-blasting mission he's become her biggest fan. Well, next to Brad. Despite his fears, Tuck insists on going along on Jenny and Brad's adventures. Though being the typical trouble-making little brother he is, he usually ends up doing more damage than good. Mrs. Norene "Nora" Wakeman - Mrs. Wakeman had been struggling for years to rid the world of evil through the use of her inventions. And then, in a moment of brilliance, she created: XJ9 (a.k.a. Jenny). More mad scientist than understanding mom, Mrs. Wakeman can teach Jenny to battle almost anything that comes her way, but she's not so hot at talking about teenage stuff like clothes and boys. Mrs. Wakeman just doesn't get why Jenny would rather go to the fair than defend the Earth. But isn't having a mom who doesn't understand you, like, Rule #1 for being a teenager? Brittany and Tiffany Crust - Brit and Tiff sit securely on the top of the social hierarchy at school. Brit is the master of the putdown, and Tiff can intimidate anyone in school. All the world domination-plotting super-villians on the planet don't even come close to wielding the power these two cliqueish cousins hold in their hands, and no one is more aware of that than Jenny. But Jenny's arrival on the scene throws this tyranical twosome for a loop. Her physical power makes Tiff's intimidation impossible, and the curiosity she generates threatens Brit's center-of-attention status. Suddenly, Jenny is Brit and Tiff's public enemy number one! Unfortunately, the one thing Jenny's superpowers can't stop is her own desire to be popular! Sheldon Lee - Even though he knows he's pretty low down on the totem-poll of popularity, Sheldon is satisfied as a budding engineer and a comic book fan. And if that makes him a geek, so be it! He's quite content to spend his time perfecting mechanical projects and pouring over comics. Until he meets Jenny, that is. Jenny's the perfect combination of superhero and suped-up machine, and Sheldon falls for her-fast! He's constantly giving her gizmos and gadgets as gifts, but they never seem to do the trick. Alas, unfortunately for Sheldon, Jenny's fine with being his friend, but the thought of dating him hurts her brainwaves.moreless

Welcome to the Super Duper Sumos guide at TV.com. Type - Animated Genre(s) - Comedy, Action/Adventure Show Status - Canceled/EndedGuide Status - Co-Editor Desired About Super Duper Sumos In this show (which is said to be even more obscene than Ren & Stimpy), three half-ton sumos dish out justice to the evil "Bad Inc." The sumos are trained in the ways of the PHaT (Peace, Honor and Truth) by their ancient Japanese father/trainer, Wisdom San. This trainer adopted the sumos when they were very young, and began teaching them PHaT right away. The big-bottomed bros use their fighting skills and the super-attack "Sumo Size" to defeat Bad Inc., a group of villains that consists of Ms. Mister, the easily annoyed leader, Dr. Stinger, a love-struck scientist who is constantly hitting on Mister, BS, an English braniac with far-fetched ideas, and Genghis, a cranky ghost who is always boring the group with tall-tales. They got guts, big ol' butts! Let's get PHaT with the Super Duper Sumos and Bad Inc.! Now that you've done that, let's meet the Sumos. Booma is the insane one whose butt is alive (a la a certain children's novel), Mamoo is the practical sumo with a love for cooking, and Kimo can predict the future! Finally, there's Prima, a little girl with a big brain. She uses her IQ to guide the sumos down the right path. It may seem that people who aren't fond of bathroom humor will not enjoy this DIC toon, but you're wrong! There is plenty of intelligent humor for people with a less childish taste in cartoons, such as the constant Bad Inc. subplots and hilarious flashback sequences. Episodes of the show used to be shown here. Character Guide Booma - Despite his lack of intelligence, Booma is the most popular Sumo of the group. With a small brain and large heart, this Californian sumo wrestler is a very valuable member of the crew. His hobbies include glutting himself and taking care of his backside. Kimo - Kimo is the wisest of the three. "Honor" is practically this Sumo's catchphrase, his signature move even contains the word! Kimo's abilities include the capability to keep his wild and crazy brothers in line, to predict the future and to honor the PHaT. Mamoo - This underrated Sumo is a professional with the stove, but cannot help but always say what he thinks! He loves to be honest and truthful, and has a powerful signature move known as "Sumo Squeeze." He is also responsible for the most disturbing element of Sumo-Sizing! Which part? Watch and learn... Ms. Mister - Ms. Mister is the leader of Bad Inc. She doesn't do much for the evil group other than approve and supervise their stupid plans to destory or conquer Generic City. She is also forced to live with Dr. Stinger, who is constantly annoying her with his affection toward her. She also carries Genghis in a jewel on her dress. Dr. Stinger - Stinger is a mad scientist, although he is a bit more on the side of "mad" than he is "scientist." Dr. Stinger usually invents the monster of the episode, but doesn't let his work interfere with his time with Ms. Mister. Genghis Fenghis - Genghis is an ancient spirit who lives inside of Ms. Mister's jewel. And he is just that - ancient. When he actually comes out of his home to "help" the group, he is usually boring them to sleep or cracking jokes regarding being deceased. BS - The name says it all. He may be intelligent, but his plans are very far-fetched and complicated. Additionally, BS has a knack for technology, and doesn't like spending a day away from his cell phone and computer. Wisdom San - Wisdom San is an ancient Japanese tutor who adopted the Sumos. Good ol' Wisdom San is always there for the Sumos with his confusing moral support and quotes from the ancient poet Masho. Prima - Prima is a young girl who also gives the Sumos advice. Much like Wisdom San, the Sumos look to her for moral support in any obscure situation they may be in. Crasho Basho Sumos - Three evil sumo wrestlers created by Bad Inc. in order to destroy their arch-enemies. Mamoo's counterpart has four arms, Booma's has three buttcheeks, and Kimo's has a metal chest. They appear in the show a few times. Theme Song Lyrics Go! Super Duper Sumos! Hwah! Super Duper Sumos! They got guts! Super Duper Sumos! Hwah! Super Duper Sumos! Big ol' butts! Peace! Honor! Truth! Super Duper Sumos! Hwah! Super Duper Sumos! They got guts! Let's get PHaT! Go! Super Duper Sumos!
