Welcome to the Noozles guide at TV.com. "Noozles" or as known in Japan as "Fushigi na Koala Blinky" was an Anime made in 1984 & that came to the US in 1989 dubbed by Nickelodeon along with Haim Saban. It aired on Nickelodeon, part of the daily Nick Jr. afternoon line-up. Renowned archaeologist Alex Brown was on a dig in Australia when he sent a package across the sea, meant for his daughter, Sandy, who was living back home with her mother and grandmother. Sandy was surprised to find that it was a cute little stuffed koala, but the real surprise came when Sandy rubbed noses with it. After Sandy noozled the koala, it came to life and introduced himself as Blinky. Blinky's equipped with a watch that can stop time. His sister Pinky shows up. Pinky had a magical make-up compact with a mirror that could show glimpses of the future. Pinky also had a lipstick pencil that can draw portals to other worlds, such as where they came from - a parallel universe called Koala-Wala Land. KWL had recently been overrun by a dictator known only as the High Dingy Doo. The entire place was crawling with KangarooCops who would fly around and shout "STOP IN THE NAME OF THE HIGH DINGY DOO!". Dr. Brown - Sandy's father - had somehow wandered into Koala-Wala Land during his dig in Australia, and was on the run from the Kangaroo Cops when he sent Blinky to find Sandy, his last hope for freedom. But all Blinky wanted to do was stay in Sandy's tree and eat all day. The girl frequently pointed out that the leaves on the tree were not eucalyptus leaves and that the bears shouldn't eat them, but they didn't seem to mind. Pinky often used her magic pencil to draw a portal back to Koala-Wala Land. She spent each episode trying to convince Blinky to go back to Koala-Wala Land with her. Sandy, of course, was always excited to go, even though humans weren't really allowed there. She would wear a disguise to look like a koala; at least in Koala-Wala Land, everybody can fly. While Pinky wanted Blinky back home, Sandy spent every episode trying to hide the fact that her teddy bear was alive and liked to eat the tree in her front yard. This was especially hard, since her mom was constantly checking up on her, and her "friend" Mark was always popping in to say hi. The only person who knew about Blinky and Pinky was Sandy's grandmother, who later went on adventures with them. Also, two poachers named Franky and Spike had found out, and they kept trying to nab the koalas for profit. And along on each adventure, was Osgood, a lizard from Koala-Wala Land. He mostly ran about, screaming in a tiny voice. He panicked a lot, but usually lived in Blinky's watch. MAIN CHARACTERS: Sandy Brown - Annoying red-haired girl. Grandma Brown - Sandy's Lively grandmother Mark – Sandy's best friend Franky and Spike – Two thugs Blinky – Grey, gets hungry and tired easily. His watch could stop time. David the Gnome, and his wife Lisa, were peace loving Gnomes who lived in a tree. They probably reminded more than a few children of their grandparents. David would travel around on the back of his trusty fox, Swift, who he would summon by whistling. Overall it was a very interesting show which taught children to enjoy and respect nature and the world around them. This 26 episode series came to the U.S. airwaves in 1988, running weekdays on Nickelodeon, and was later rebroadcast from 1996 to 1998 on The Learning Channel. FAQ

What Grade is Ginger in? In Season 1 she is in the 7th Grade, in Season 2 she begins 8th grade, and now in Season 3 Ginger will start 9th Grade in High School.

Why is Ginger only airing like one time a week? Yes, Ginger used to air a lot of times a week, maybe Nick thought it wasn't being well received and decided to move the time further away so fans would start wondering. When will Ginger be in more places? I'm not sure yet, hopefully soon to find out.

I read on Don's ATBG site that each season has 20 episodes worth, why is there missing some episodes in the 3 ATBG Seasons? Nick has decided to air the 3 part episodes as actual 'TV Movies' or 'Specials'. Example: 'Far From Home'-the TV Movie (as listed)- would actually count as 3-part episodes to add to Season 2 or 3. and Same with 'Camp Caprice' and 'The Wedding Frame'.

I'm sick of waiting, when will new episodes air like they used to!? This is Nick's choice, obviously Nick decides after 1-2 seasons to air episodes far apart in order to save some. 'Then why are the Season 1-2 episodes aired close together?' - Probably because Nick wanted to be able to air at least 20-30 episodes without worrying if kids get sick of watching the same episodes over and over. But this is Nick's choice and I'm not going to speak for them.

What city does As Told By Ginger Take place in? The series takes place in the city of Sheltered Shrubs (this is a fictional city)

    Characters

Ginger Ginger is a nervous, yet nice, 12 year old pre-teen. She is sister to Carl who she lives with, and also lives with her Mom. Her Dad wasn't that reliable and obviously left Ginger and her family. Ginger wants popularity and would mostly do ANYTHING for it!

Dodie Dodie is best friend to Ginger. Dodie is a gossip girl and drama queen. Dodie trys to be popular as well, but, it seems Ginger is getting more success then her, tough luck Dodie!

Macie Macie is friends with Dodie and Ginger. Macie may not be the most popular girl in the school, (well actually, she's quite a geek!) but, she is quite a laugh and a good friend to Ginger & Dodie.

Courtney Courtney is the most popular girl at her school. Courtney is obviously rich and thinks up in herself. Though, lately she's took a shine to Ginger. Ginger is Courtney's latest popular experiment.

Miranda Miranda is a nasty pre-teen who just wants popularity and best friendship to carry on with Courtney. Miranda hates Ginger because of Ginger and Courtneys latest friendship. But, who will be the winner?

Carl Carl is brother to Ginger and drives her up the wall, including there Mom! Carl just loves anything thats disgusting and dirty, he is best friend to Hoodsey.

Hoodsey Hoodsey is best friend to Carl and brother to Dodie. You wouldn't think they were brother and sister unless you saw they had the same parents and surname. Anyway... Hoodsey likes being naughty just as much as Carl, but, sometimes his Mom gets in the way.

Lois Lois is a caring Mom to Ginger and Carl. She always has a good joke and is like any other normal Mom.moreless

But then again, this is no ordinary school, and Ickis, Krumm and Oblina are no ordinary students either... Welcome to the land of AAAHH!!! Real Monsters, where, at the Monster Academy, up-and-coming students learn the terrifying tricks of the monster trade, and get the necessary qualifications for a life of advance scarifying (their GCS-Eeks?).

Here, the insecure Ickis, the stinky-armpitted Krumm, and the candycane-shaped Oblina deal with issues like how to best scare supermarket shoppers, where to hide under the bed, and what to do with your eyeballs when you're not holding them in your mouth (here's a hint: juggle them).

All of this goes on under the watchful eyes of their teacher, the fearful Gromble. While these walking nightmares always find new ways to get into trouble, they survive their adventures by sticking together, sometimes literally!

Did you Know? A movie was once considered by the creators.

    *Characters*

Ickis: A rabbit-eared, 34-toothed, yellow eyed, pink furred monster. He is constantly losing his Monster Manual. Hates Gromble.

Krumm: Very hairy, with blue lips, and eyes held constantly in his hands. Usually he keeps his eyes in water at night or in his mouth when he needs his arms.

Oblina: When you hear the term "Skinny as a stick", it's referring to Oblina. Has a white body with black stripes and bulging eyes like a slug or snail. Has four teeth, four strands of hair on her head, and the most intelligent of the bunch. She can even pull organs out of her body!

Gromble: Has a green beard, green fur, black hands, yellow teeth, bulging eyes line Oblina's, and bright red lips. Head teacher of the Monster Academy. Constantly punishing Zimbo and Snorch. Common Quote: "Pay attention, Ickis."moreless

My Life as a Teenage Robot

My Life as a Teenage Robot

    Follow
    Nickelodeon (ended 2009)
While most kids think their own problems are the end of the world, there's one girl whose problems really are the end of the world. My Life as a Teenage Robot is the story of Jenny, a super-powered robot with a super-sensitive teenage heart. Her primary function is to protect the planet from certain disaster, but, like all teenagers, she has her own ideas about how she would like to live. Defending the Earth has become a mundane chore, and she would rather do more exciting things like go to high school and be allowed to drive the family car. My Life as a Teenage Robot, a spin-off from Nickelodeon's hit Oh Yeah! Cartoons (under the name My Neighbor Has A Teenage Robot), was created by Rob Renzetti and is executive produced by Renzetti and Fred Seibert. This show is the third of three spinoffs of Oh Yeah! Cartoons, the others being ChalkZone and Fairly OddParents. Characters: Global Robotic Response Unit XJ9, aka Jenny Wakeman - XJ9 is just like any other robot designed to defend the planet. She's powerful, confident, clever, brave...oh yeah, and she's gotta be home by 9! Jenny, as XJ9 likes to be called, is spunky, dramatic and prone to major mood swings (sound familiar?). She's also obsessed with pop stars, teen magazines and fitting in with the cool kids. Just like a regular teenager, right? Well, yeah...if regular teenagers were 6 feet tall and made of metal! XJ9's creator (a.k.a. mom) is constantly reminding her of her planetary responsibilities, but Jenny's tired of saving the world and just wants to hang out with her friends. What's a teenage robot to do? Bradley "Brad" Carbunkle - Brad is the boy next door. He's Jenny's closest neighbor and her best friend. Brad's not really interested in the stuff his friends at school are into, and wishes he were more like Jenny. He loves a good adventure and he's dying for a chance to explore the world outside high school. To Jenny, Brad's the reference point to all things "teenaged." He's the gatekeeper of "cool." Only Brad gets bored talking about all that lame teenager stuff and jumps at every chance to get in on Jenny's universe-saving superhero action. Guess the grass really IS greener on the other side of the fence... Tucker "Tuck" Carbunkle - Unlike his older brother Brad, Tuck is suspicious of the unknown and likes to be surrounded by familiar things and faces. He has a whole assortment of hidden fears and anxieties (let's just say he's not a fan of ferris wheels!) At first, Tuck was terrified of Jenny too, but after an unplanned tag-along on a meteor-blasting mission he's become her biggest fan. Well, next to Brad. Despite his fears, Tuck insists on going along on Jenny and Brad's adventures. Though being the typical trouble-making little brother he is, he usually ends up doing more damage than good. Mrs. Norene "Nora" Wakeman - Mrs. Wakeman had been struggling for years to rid the world of evil through the use of her inventions. And then, in a moment of brilliance, she created: XJ9 (a.k.a. Jenny). More mad scientist than understanding mom, Mrs. Wakeman can teach Jenny to battle almost anything that comes her way, but she's not so hot at talking about teenage stuff like clothes and boys. Mrs. Wakeman just doesn't get why Jenny would rather go to the fair than defend the Earth. But isn't having a mom who doesn't understand you, like, Rule #1 for being a teenager? Brittany and Tiffany Crust - Brit and Tiff sit securely on the top of the social hierarchy at school. Brit is the master of the putdown, and Tiff can intimidate anyone in school. All the world domination-plotting super-villians on the planet don't even come close to wielding the power these two cliqueish cousins hold in their hands, and no one is more aware of that than Jenny. But Jenny's arrival on the scene throws this tyranical twosome for a loop. Her physical power makes Tiff's intimidation impossible, and the curiosity she generates threatens Brit's center-of-attention status. Suddenly, Jenny is Brit and Tiff's public enemy number one! Unfortunately, the one thing Jenny's superpowers can't stop is her own desire to be popular! Sheldon Lee - Even though he knows he's pretty low down on the totem-poll of popularity, Sheldon is satisfied as a budding engineer and a comic book fan. And if that makes him a geek, so be it! He's quite content to spend his time perfecting mechanical projects and pouring over comics. Until he meets Jenny, that is. Jenny's the perfect combination of superhero and suped-up machine, and Sheldon falls for her-fast! He's constantly giving her gizmos and gadgets as gifts, but they never seem to do the trick. Alas, unfortunately for Sheldon, Jenny's fine with being his friend, but the thought of dating him hurts her brainwaves.moreless
