Double Dare 2000 is a family friendly Nickelodeon show hosted by Jason Harris. In each episode, two family teams compete against each other, and both teams have two parents and two children. The host asks each team to answer a trivia question. If the family members can answer it, they get twenty-five dollars. If they don't know the answer or believe that the other team will not know the answer, they can dare the other team to give the correct response. An incorrect answer from the opposing team will earn the original family fifty dollars. On the other hand, the rival family can decide to give the first family the question back and double dare that team to answer it. Then, the team must either answer the question or take part in a messy, thirty-second physical challenge worth one hundred dollars. At the end of the show, the team with the highest score gets to participate in an obstacle course to earn prizes. This television show is not only lighthearted and amusing, it also teaches children the value of working together as a family.moreless

Based on Antoine De Saint-Exupery's 1942 novel "Le Petit Prince", "The Adventures of the Little Prince" followed the title character as he journeyed across the galaxy in search of knowledge and companionship. Major characters included the little prince -the protagonist; his rose - part flower, part little girl; and a bird who used to help the little prince travel through space. Most of the episodes took place on Earth or on the prince's home asteroid, B6-12. The show reflected the original novel's focus on sweetness, goodness and love, though it did not include the book's bittersweet ending. The character design was very loosely based on Saint-Exupery's original illustrations. Co-produced in France and Japanmoreless

Fred can usually be found pretending it's her birthday, or thinking about what the perfect present would be. Fred is polite, friendly, and always happy! She also knows our Words of the Day before anyone else!

Roar E. Saurus (Roary) You can usually tell where Roary is by listening for his distinctive "Rooooooooooar!" While Roary may be trying to create a loud scary roar, he is anything but scary! A lovable dinosaur that likes to sit up high, Roary is always eager to join Blue on her adventures!

Silly Seat: Song Call: A-silly-silly-silly-silly-silly-silly seeeeeeat! Silly Seat's one mission is to make us laugh. Whether he uses a silly song and dance, or tells a silly knock-knock joke, he usually succeeds!

Bookshelf: Song Call: Ahhhhhhhh-Read me! Here in Blue's Room, the books fly off the shelves--literally! If there's a book with a story to be read, it will eagerly jump to the windowsill so we can read it with Blue!

Dictionary: Song Call: Words, words, words, words, woooooords! When we run into a word we don't know, this is the book we look for. Dictionary shows us a picture of the word, and also tells us what it means so we can use the new word throughout our playdate!

Journal: Song Call: Let's Journal! At the end of our time in Blue's Room, Journal is always ready to receive our thoughts and hear about the fun we had!

Moona: The fairy who gave Blue her room. Moona's job in Blue's Room is to perform the magic that is sometimes needed for our adventures. She also has the sad job of telling Blue when it's time to leave.

Standby: Lights, Camera, Action! is a children's documentary series from Nickelodeon that goes behind the scenes of movie sets to show kids how studios make their favorite films. Actor Leonard Nimoy hosts the show, bringing his cameras to the sets of his friends in the film industry. Leonard starts the season with a trip to Lucasfilm studios in San Francisco, CA, to get an inside look at the making of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. At a time before computer graphics existed, director George Lucas shows audiences how to get great special effects from miniature-sized objects. Next up, Leonard takes on script writing when he stops by a Monty Python pre-production meeting. Actor John Cleese shows Leonard how he incorporates humor into a dull script. Nickelodeon covers executive producing and lighting in other episodes by going on location of a James Bond film and inside the studio built NORAD room that John Badham made for his film, WarGames. The Butt Ugly Martians came to invade specific planets managed by the evil, Emperor Bog. The B.U.M team were forced to do evil schemes to do conquering for the evil emperor. The Butt Ugly Martians had no choice but to conquer Earth, itself. The Butt Ugly Martians were not surprised at all, there opinions would soon change. The Butt Ugly Martians became addicted to Earth. They found out about comic books, hamburgers, video games and music videos. The Martians were astonished! The B.U.M. trio said they would never hurt Earth. There new friends, Mike, Ronald, Cedric and Angela showed them that Earth was the best. The Martians think over their plan and how much trouble they will be in if Emperor Bog finds out. "Who cares?", they think. However defending Earth won't be an easy thing to do so their tech officer creates BKM which allows them to go giant and kick anybody's butt. But not everyone on Earth is very welcoming of aliens (like Muldoon alien hunter) so the Uglies are gonna stay hiding but they don't care. The Butt Ugly Martians will continue to hang out on Earth as long as Emperor Bog never finds out. Butt Ugly Martians, go! The Butt Ugly Martians will never tell a soul about their awful plan of conquering planets! Let's get ugly! Character Guide B-Bop-a-Luna - B-Bop-a-Luna is the diplomat and leader of the Butt Ugly Martians. B-Bop-a-Luna leads the Butt Ugly Martians to victory over their evil planet. B-Bop is probably the smartest of all of the Butt Uglies. B-Bop shows a lot of confidence in all of his fighting styles and boosts up the B.K.M. Mode. Without B-Bop the Butt Ugly Martians would be nothing. B-Bop-a-Luna is the yellow Martian. 2-T-Fru-T - 2-T-Fru-T is the mechanic for the Butt Uglies. 2-T-Fru-T is very handy when around, he can fix just about anything. 2-T is the co-commander of the Butt Uglies. 2-T loves Earth because of all the vehicles. 2-T owns his own hoverboard which transports the Butt Uglies around town. 2-T-Fru-T is the blue Martian. Do-Wah-Diddy - Do-Wah-Diddy is the fun Martian of the Butt Uglies. Do-Wah has a huge appetite and super strength which almost makes him invulnerable. Do-Wah's favorite song is, "Do-Wah-Diddy". Do-Wah loves milkshakes, hamburgers, junk food and all other unhealthy foods. Do-Wah makes the Butt Ugly Martians show have a slight bit of comedy. Do-Wah-Diddy is the red Martian. Angela: The basic smarts of the group. In times of peril you can count on Angela to make sure you keep your mind set on things. 1 more thing don't get on her bad side or you will live to regret it. She's the camera girl to the Martian's boy band (Boys to Martians). Mike: The "video games expert" on the group (but Angela seems to want to take that title from him). Mike tends to have the most crazy ideas but at the same time he also tends to be the one who gets in the most trouble. He's the special effects person of the Martian's boy band (Boys to Martians). Cedric: The brains of the group. Cedric has some great ideas but most of his ideas tend to me cashing in on the internet (mostly on the Martians). He's also the basic manager of the Martians boy band (Boys to Martians). Cedric is also a year younger than Angela and Mike. Stoat Muldoon: Muldoon is Earth's alien hunter (but he's not very good at it). Muldoon is always locking on to the Martians or something involving them and he tends to get in the way more than help. The Martians a lot of times make an alliance with him which he accepts. Unfortunatly he either puts them on their show making the Martians decide to mind wipe him or they mind wipe him for fun making him say some embarissing thing from his child hood. Ronald: Ronald is Muldoon's intern and pretty much worships the ground Muldoon walks on. Muldoon isn't very nice to him though. He's also a burger boy and tends to do questionable things that could make one question his Earthling herritage. Dr.Brainy Hacksaw: Muldoon used to be Hacksaw's intern but they parted ways when Muldoon objected to his cruel ways of dealing with any alien. Hacksaw has always wanted to disect and experiment on any aliens especially the Martians considering they have foilded any plans he ever had. Dark Comet: All we know about Dark Comet is that they are a site on the net that helps Muldoon track aliens. Emporer Bog: Bog is the Emporer of the Martians. He used to ruel Mars but unfortunatly after it was destroyed in a war he has been searching for a new home by any means neccasary. Bog is pretty dumb because he is always fulled by the Martian's fake progress reports. Also when ever he sends "help" to the Martians he is completly oblivous to the fact that the "help" is trying to kill them. Bog lastly is a hot head constantly threatening his subjects lives. As Do-Wah said if Bog was destroyed Martians would declare a national holiday. Damage: Damage is Bogs lacky. He is the only one that knows the Martians are tratiors but he doesn't completly convince Bog until the end of the season. Damage mutters evil things about Bog and when asked he gets scared and changes what he said completly. Damage is very smart considering he has made many evil robots (a virus [that can mind control], Infi-night [a very distruvtive robot], Clacktor [a video taping robot] and the Electrocutioner). Damage also wants to kill Bog and take over being Emporer. Show Opening Theme B.K.M.! B.K.M.! B.K.M.! We are the martians! The Butt Ugly Martians! We are the martians! The Butt Ugly Martians! Welcome to the Super Duper Sumos guide at TV.com. Type - Animated Genre(s) - Comedy, Action/Adventure Show Status - Canceled/EndedGuide Status - Co-Editor Desired About Super Duper Sumos In this show (which is said to be even more obscene than Ren & Stimpy), three half-ton sumos dish out justice to the evil "Bad Inc." The sumos are trained in the ways of the PHaT (Peace, Honor and Truth) by their ancient Japanese father/trainer, Wisdom San. This trainer adopted the sumos when they were very young, and began teaching them PHaT right away. The big-bottomed bros use their fighting skills and the super-attack "Sumo Size" to defeat Bad Inc., a group of villains that consists of Ms. Mister, the easily annoyed leader, Dr. Stinger, a love-struck scientist who is constantly hitting on Mister, BS, an English braniac with far-fetched ideas, and Genghis, a cranky ghost who is always boring the group with tall-tales. They got guts, big ol' butts! Let's get PHaT with the Super Duper Sumos and Bad Inc.! Now that you've done that, let's meet the Sumos. Booma is the insane one whose butt is alive (a la a certain children's novel), Mamoo is the practical sumo with a love for cooking, and Kimo can predict the future! Finally, there's Prima, a little girl with a big brain. She uses her IQ to guide the sumos down the right path. It may seem that people who aren't fond of bathroom humor will not enjoy this DIC toon, but you're wrong! There is plenty of intelligent humor for people with a less childish taste in cartoons, such as the constant Bad Inc. subplots and hilarious flashback sequences. Episodes of the show used to be shown here. Character Guide Booma - Despite his lack of intelligence, Booma is the most popular Sumo of the group. With a small brain and large heart, this Californian sumo wrestler is a very valuable member of the crew. His hobbies include glutting himself and taking care of his backside. Kimo - Kimo is the wisest of the three. "Honor" is practically this Sumo's catchphrase, his signature move even contains the word! Kimo's abilities include the capability to keep his wild and crazy brothers in line, to predict the future and to honor the PHaT. Mamoo - This underrated Sumo is a professional with the stove, but cannot help but always say what he thinks! He loves to be honest and truthful, and has a powerful signature move known as "Sumo Squeeze." He is also responsible for the most disturbing element of Sumo-Sizing! Which part? Watch and learn... Ms. Mister - Ms. Mister is the leader of Bad Inc. She doesn't do much for the evil group other than approve and supervise their stupid plans to destory or conquer Generic City. She is also forced to live with Dr. Stinger, who is constantly annoying her with his affection toward her. She also carries Genghis in a jewel on her dress. Dr. Stinger - Stinger is a mad scientist, although he is a bit more on the side of "mad" than he is "scientist." Dr. Stinger usually invents the monster of the episode, but doesn't let his work interfere with his time with Ms. Mister. Genghis Fenghis - Genghis is an ancient spirit who lives inside of Ms. Mister's jewel. And he is just that - ancient. When he actually comes out of his home to "help" the group, he is usually boring them to sleep or cracking jokes regarding being deceased. BS - The name says it all. He may be intelligent, but his plans are very far-fetched and complicated. Additionally, BS has a knack for technology, and doesn't like spending a day away from his cell phone and computer. Wisdom San - Wisdom San is an ancient Japanese tutor who adopted the Sumos. Good ol' Wisdom San is always there for the Sumos with his confusing moral support and quotes from the ancient poet Masho. Prima - Prima is a young girl who also gives the Sumos advice. Much like Wisdom San, the Sumos look to her for moral support in any obscure situation they may be in. Crasho Basho Sumos - Three evil sumo wrestlers created by Bad Inc. in order to destroy their arch-enemies. Mamoo's counterpart has four arms, Booma's has three buttcheeks, and Kimo's has a metal chest. They appear in the show a few times. Theme Song Lyrics Go! Super Duper Sumos! Hwah! Super Duper Sumos! They got guts! Super Duper Sumos! Hwah! Super Duper Sumos! Big ol' butts! Peace! Honor! Truth! Super Duper Sumos! Hwah! Super Duper Sumos! They got guts! Let's get PHaT! Go! Super Duper Sumos! But of course, her arch Nemesis, Maritza Hogge (LaTangela), who also wants to be a star goes to her school! Taina lives with her parents, brother, and grandfather in Queens, New York. In every episode we see Taina and her attempts to become a star, and music videos in Taina's head. Watch Taina sing and dance her way to stardom! Scheduled Times Taina is canceled and is no longer airing. Past Times: Nickelodeon January 2001-December 2001 Sundays at 7:00p.m January 2002-May 2002 Saturdays at 9:00p.m June 2002-March 2003 Sundays at 7:30p.m FAQ Are there any Taina products? Yes! There is now a Taina soundtrack out that you can purchase at music stores and at amazon.com! In the UK there is a Taina DVD, that you can see more info about in the DVD Section of this guide! Why was Taina canceled? Unfortunately, Nickelodeon thought it only appealed to girls, and canceled it in May 2002. Has Taina won any awards? Taina recently won an Alma award for the 2001 season! What has the cast been doing since the end of Taina? Christina Vidal (Taina) starred in the ABC series 10-8 in September 2003 as Deputy Gabriela Lopez. But, it was canceled in January 2004. Christina has also guest starred in series such as The Nick Cannon Show (Along side Khalilah Adams (Renee), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, and twice on Second Time Around. She was also featured in movies like Chasing Papi and Freaky Friday! Other cast members Josh Cruze (Eduardo Morales) and Selenis Leyva (Tita Rosa) have guest starred in other shows. Characters Taina: She's got the talent, the heart and the skills to make it HUGE as an entertainer—or at least that's what she thinks. Actually, Taina probably will be a star, but that doesn't change how weird it can be living life as a teen with big dreams in NYC. With the help of her friends and family, though, Taina just may become the next big thing! Renee: Renee's going to be a comedian when she graduates, but until she does, she'll be fine-tuning her material on Taina, her best friend for life. And although they help each other out and crack each other up, Renee doesn't laugh about getting Taina's back. They're tight like that. Lamar: Lamar's Taina's friend who secretly wishes he was much more than that. Yeah, Lamar's into Taina in a major way, but he's definitely too shy to do anything about it. As he waits for the perfect time to spill his guts, Lamar stands by Taina every step of the way—when his face isn't glued behind his video camera, that is. Daniel: Daniel is basically Lamar's other half. He shares a locker with Taina, so he sometimes gets the inside scoop on all that "girl stuff." But you can trust Daniel with confidential info, so it's cool. And he can play almost any style of music on almost any instrument, which comes in handy when your friends want to be stars! Maritza: Maritza is Taina's beautiful and talented arch Nemesis! The two have been rivals since kindergarten, and Maritza won't let anything get between her and success! Except Taina, of course. Eduardo: Taina's dad is a sensible, professional guy who also really loves music—he actually designs music programs for computers. Eduardo worries about Taina and watches out for her, but his affection for the guitar really keeps him in touch with her dreams too. Gloria: Gloria is fair and tough, but she loves music almost as much as she loves her family. The passion for the songs she and her sister sang as little girls has been passed onto her daughter—along with her good looks! Abuelo: Gregorio is Taina's grandfather, and he's ultra-supportive of everything she tries to do. But he also plays another important role: Taina's constant reminder of her Puerto Rican roots. Abuelo never lets her forget them. Tita: Tita is Taina's aunt. When she's not reminiscing with Tai's mom Gloria about their youth together, aunt Tita's out with Taina shopping, laughing and gossiping. That's what aunts are for. Santito: Like any good little brother, Santito adores his big sister—but he still gets huge laughs out of sabotaging her plans every once in a while. He's only 6, after all. He's got to have some fun! Theme Song "Gonna Be A Star" You know I can't wait to see my name in lights No one's gonna stop me you'll see I will go far (what's her name?) The team in control got to move Mikey on a grid of about 15 squares. The object was to move him up, down, left or right towards a goal. On each square was an event. Phil referred to these as the four P's "points, puzzles, pop quizzes and prizes." So, some squares would be worth free points, some worth a free prize, some had video puzzles for points, and some squares contained pop quizzes. There, the team that landed on the square would pick a topic and a buzz-in question would be asked for 25 points. If a team hit the monster for the day, they lost control. If a video challenge came up, the team that moved Mikey there would choose one of five video games on stage. One member of the team would risk any or all of their points to that point. The other had to meet or beat the "Wizard's Challenge" in 30 seconds. Points were added or subtracted accordingly. If a team reached the goal, the team that did not move Mikey picked from the pop quiz categories and the other team tried to answer a question for 50 points. If time ran out before anyone reached the goal, Mikey moved straight to the goal and the question was asked as a buzz-in. A second round was played with bigger point values, and a goal worth 100 points. The team in the lead after this round won the game. In the bonus round, the winner's entered the "Video Zone" in an attempt to win cash and prizes. In one minute, the team had to conquer a level each individually and face the "Game Wizard" together to win it all. Each level completed was worth $50 and a prize. Reruns are shown daily at 6:30 AM on Nickelodeon GAS, but not regular Nickelodeon.moreless
