    Nightly Business Report (NBR) is the long running financial news program delivering the latest from Wall Street and other major markets from across the world. The current hosts are Tom Hudson, reporting from Miami, and Susie Gharib, reporting from New York. Reporters include Darren Gersh, Diane Estabrook, Erika Miller, Suzanne Pratt, Stephanie Dhue, Scott Gurvey, and Dana Bate. NBR was first broadcast in 1979, and was hosted by anchors Linda O'Bryon and Merwin Sigale, with assistance from Paul Kangas. It wasn't until 1981 that Nightly Business Report began airing across the United States. Throughout its run, NBR has won many awards for its excellence in news coverage. In 2005, NBR was awarded the Emmy for its series on "China's Emergence as an International Economic Power. In 2008, NBR won a Gerald Loeb Award for "India's Promise," an in-depth report on the Indian economy. Nightly Business Report is distributed by PBS and can be seen around the world.moreless

    Everyday Edisons is a reality television series currently airing on PBS. Created by Louis Foreman and hosted by Michael Cable, the program revolves around aspiring inventors trying to thrust their idea into the global consciousness. Differing from other reality shows of the same ilk, Everyday Edisons does not eliminate the contestants from the show. Every invention featured on Everyday Edisons is at least put through the process of commercialization. They show then follows each inventor as they attempt to get their product idea actualized. each inventor is given equal opportunity to get their invention made in a world in which investors are often hard to come by. Some products created on the show include products called Befudiom, Tsquare, Koku, and Kineta.moreless
