Perfect Match is an Australian dating game show which premiered in 2002 on the Seven Network. The game is largely based on The Dating Game and is presented by Shelley Craft. Its game format dictates that a contestant pick from three potential lovers behind a screen. The elimination process is determined by asking compatibility questions which are generally scripted. Queries usually asked are funny and mostly have a sly innuendo. At the end of the game, the contestant will pick the candidate whom he sees most compatible to him. The prize for the contestant and his chosen partner is a weekend holiday with the TV crew. Each episode of the show features two different rounds - one played by a male contestant and the other played by a female contestant. For every episode, a short recap is also shown on the previous contestants' weekend getaway. Oddly enough, some winners do in fact fall for each other, and others admit of their feelings during their short excursion.moreless
