Ever sit in a friend or relative's home and wish you could strip or paint the walls, take up the floor, sew and replace fabric on the couch or chairs? Then this show is for you! Trading Spaces: Family is a design show based on the British series Changing Rooms. The shows takes two sets of neighbors, and they switch one room in each other's home. They are assigned a designer, and given a $1,000 budget... and they only have two days to completely redesign their neighbor's room. They are not allowed back in to their own rooms until the two days are up. At the end of each episode, the host sits down to talk with the designers about the room they just finished. Then, the host takes the owners into their rooms, with their eyes closed, and reveals the room to them. Will they like the design? Will they hate them? Will they get rid of the design... Or their neighbors? In Trading Spaces: Family, they add a twist. It's not just neighbors trading spaces anymore; it's families. Teams consist of 3-5 family members, and at least one of them must be a tween (9-12 years old) or a teen.moreless

Welcome to the Toddworld guide at TV.com.

ToddWorld is a place where a kid can dance with a porcupine, buy ice cream from a hippo, or eat macaroni and cheese in the bathtub. It's a world where human beings, animals, and even the occasional alien from outer space can not only live together and play together, but talk to each other too. It's a world of bright colors, bold lines, and whimsical detail. ToddWorld looks and feels like the world children create and share when they engage in spontaneous imaginative play together. ToddWorld is wish fulfillment for preschool viewers.

Toddworld is based on the artwork of Todd Parr. The theme song "It's a Colorful World" is sung by Smokey Robinson.

    Characters:

Hi, My name is Todd! I like to draw on my drawing pad. I love to eat macaroni and cheese in the bathtub. I live with my dog Benny in a clubhouse on top of a hill. He's my best friend. I like to ride through town on my skateboard, with Benny pulling me around. I like to wear underwear on my head because it helps me think.

Hi, I'm Benny! I'm Todd's dog and I love to go for walks. If I don't want to do something, I like to pretend I'm asleep. I love pulling Todd around on his skateboard. I love doggy treats. I have a great sense of smell, so I can tell the subtle difference between a skunk and Pickle's socks. When I tell stories, I like to make stuff up to make it more fun. I sometimes call myself "the Benster". I will eat anything except pickles and onions.

Hello, my name is Pickle! I love to jump rope while riding my unicycle. I really don't like pickles. That's not how I got my name. I was named after my Grandpa Pickle who used to be in the circus. I can play a harmonica and drink juice at the same time. I live in a circus tent with a lot of circus animals. I sometimes forget to change my socks.

My name is Sophie. I like to invent stuff. I love to jump on my bed with a kangaroo. I have huge pigtails that stick out when I come up with a new idea. I can fly by using my pigtails like wings. I love to read books. I believe you can do anything you set your mind to! I live in an apartment with Mitzi, Banana, and Mitz's puppies. I love all animals. I even made a special "smooth suit" for porcupines so I can dance with them without getting pricked. I'm afraid of spiders.

Hi, I'm Mitzi! I'm Sophie's cat. I don't eat fish. Some of my best friends are fish. I don't eat birds, either. Some of my best friends are birds. I love to dance. I love to wear pink tennis shoes. I have three puppies. They call me "Mama" and follow me around wherever I go. I love to curl up on Sophie's bed at the end of a long day. I love to take dancing lessons.

Hi, my name is Stella. One day I'm going to be a star! I just don't know what kind yet. I love to sing and dance and play musical instruments. I love to organize all my hair-bows and jewelry and I have lots of shelves and drawers. I keep as many accessories as possible in my tiny, shiny purse. I have two different colored ears, one orange and one blue. I live in a house with a big bow on the roof. I have stars on all my clothing and sometimes I like to wear star-shaped glasses.moreless

Welcome to the Now Who's Boss? guide at TV.com! Finally a series we've been waiting for all of our working lives. Have you grown weary of 'performing' year-in, year-out in that damned cubicle wondering why you got a college degree and why you still pay for that student loan each month? Do you wonder if your contributions are completely meaningless? Have you found yourself searching the Internet for that non-profit job that would finally give your life meaning? Chances are the answers to all of the above are yes. Now Who's Boss puts the Chief Executive down on the factory floor, if you will, and and gives the average Joe and Jane an opportunity to train the Top Dog in the 'real work' of the company. The idea behind this series is that perhaps if the Big Cheese rolls up his/her sleeves and performs roles at the bottom of the org chart, the crucial little insights that we have every day might finally make it up to the boardroom. Not since the Open Door Policy was created has the little guy who is passionate about doing his little job with excellence had more of a chance to influence major corporate policy. Tune in and, after the show, post your comments here. This is common sense television folks. It's about time we had a series like this on TV. Tell your co-workers too. Maybe your Chief Executives will be showing up at your cubicle with a film crew in tow, craving insight into how to do your job better.moreless
