    UPN (ended 2000)
Dilbert is a cubicle dwelling employee for a large soulless corporation. Each episode the show goes on many adventures that will leave you waiting for more. One simple phrase to describe Dilbert would be laugh out loud. The comical adventures that each story have are very well written by expert writers and voiced by an astonishing cast. The series is mainly about the main character Dilbertand his daily life at work. Although it is not always your typical days events that happens at the office. One of the many features this office has are little people living in the basement who apparently steal the company's markers and uses them to get high. Story lines expand from the world coming to an end for Y2K to the Dogbert trying to enslave the world! Dilbert truly is a show that you only see once in every 30 channels! Characters: Dilbert: Dilbert is your average "tech buff." He has a dog named Dogbert who frequently out-wits him. When push comes to shove you will most likely see Dilbert on the ground. He is an engineer, but often questions if he was meant to have that career. Often he tries to get his own office away from the fellow employees, but every scheme fails for one reason or another. Dilbert is the average struggling guy trying to get by at work one day at a time. Dogbert: Dogbert is not your average dog. In fact he is nothing like a dog at all. On the outside he may look like "man's best friend", but on the inside he wants to rule man. In many episodes Dogbert tries to control the world, but in each episode his scheme fails for one reason or another. Although Dogbert may seem cute and fuzzy he is far from it. The relationship is basically the opposite between Dilbert and Dogbert. Though these two often disagree on many matters they always have each other's back….or at least most of the time. Pointy-Haired Boss: He's every employee's worst nightmare. He has the laziness of Homer Simpson and the wacky comments of Peter Griffin. When those two are mixed watch out! Although he is often away from work he is the boss and as the boss he has the most power at the office. Now stupidity and leadership don't always work well together so just when you thought you figured him out he will surprise you with some wacky antic! Alice: She is one of Dilbert's co-workers. Being the only female employee in the department, she puts up with a lot. Occasionally the guys at work may step out of their place, but she will always take care of that with some violence. Her cubical is located to the left of Dilbert's, but that doesn't stop her from making frequent visits. Certainly Alice is a force not to reckon with. Wally: He is every employee's worst nightmare! He is very lazy and only goes to work just to be there thus receiving his pay check. He tries to use schemes to receive quick cash, but usually they don't work. He later learned in the series that trying to save up sick days for early retirement doesn't always work. The lesson learned in that was that over a period of time those days expire. Over all Wally is pretty much a small guy with a big mouth that frequently gets him in trouble. Broadcast history: Mon: 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM Tue: 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM Like many great shows Dilbert was short lived, but its memory lives on in eternity. Now, many are able to watch Dilbert on DVD and relive every wacky memory that the show has to offer. Not only has Dilbert become one of the most famous comic strips like Garfield, Peanuts, Blondie, etc. etc. but has become somewhat of a "hope symbol" to the daily working person. So pop the DVD in and let your bones ache from laughter! Dilbert is based off of the hit comic strip series of the same name created by Scott Adams.moreless

With differing ideas about how to turn their shop into a success, these two new partners find themselves in a battle of the sexes. Kevin is adamant about keeping it a place where men can hang out, watch sports and have a beer…all while getting a haircut. Tiffany wants to create an urban oasis for women and men; where they can offer massages, highlights and lattes made to order. The direction of the new business also has the current employees taking sides. Tiffany's improvements have all of the female employees excited, particularly Candy (Shondrella Avery), the sassy manicurist, who has no qualms about sprucing up her surroundings. But Kevin has heavy support from the male staff, especially Walt (Rashaan Nall), the gambling barber, who knows he can try to win some extra cash if sports are playing all day in the shop. Teknoman was an anime series originally created and aired in Japan under the name Tekkaman Blade (translated and transliterated). It concerned a mysterious young man named Slade who had the power to transform into an armored space warrior, helping Earth's forces to fight an alien invasion. He fights alongside the Space Knights, a small paramilitary organization. Aired on Tokyo TV from 1992 to 1993, the series was brought to the United States in 1995 by Haim Saban, who had previously achieved success by importing another Japanese show that was Americanized into the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Of the original 49 Japanese episodes, the first 26 were dubbed and aired on UPN before the show was cancelled. An English-language version aired outside of the US included 46 episodes, some having been combined or eliminated. This show guide reflects Teknoman, the American show, rather than Tekkaman Blade, the original Japanese show. This is due to the vagaries of having to translate Japanese titles, names and dialog as well as the mismatch between the number of English language and Japanese episodes. Data including air dates reflects the UPN broadcasts. Among Teknoman's weapons are the Tekno Lance, Fire Lance, Tekno Rang and Techno Power Blaster.moreless

Based on the hit 1995 Robin Williams film, Jumanji told the story of a board game gone horribly, horribly wrong. The cartoon series twisted the film's premise around, but most of the characters remained the same. As in the film, young Peter and Judy Shepherd came to live with their Aunt Nora. Exploring the house, they found in the attic a dusty old board game called Jumanji. Kids will be kids, and soon enough Peter and Judy had the game out and ready for play, little knowing that the game had a life of its own. When they rolled the dice, a rhymed message appeared on the board, and Peter and Judy were sucked inside a strange jungle world. Lost and alone in this frightening new land, Peter and Judy ran across long-haired jungle man Alan Parrish (the Robin Williams character in the film), who had been sucked in by Jumanji many years earlier. The three joined forces, looking for a way out. Opposing them were English hunter Van Pelt, his lackey Oafal, mad inventor Professor J.S. Ibsen, trading post owner J.H. "Trader" Slick, and a crowd of mischief-making monkeys. Jumanji ran on UPN's Sunday morning schedule, traditionally a much slower day for cartoons than Saturday. The show did well enough, lasting two seasons before being replaced by the popular Big Bad Beetleborgs.moreless

Welcome to the Secret Agent Man guide at TV.com. In the wake of the latest James Bond movie, the United Paramount Network (UPN) introduced this new series as a mid-season replacement in March of 2000. Staring Costas Mandylor (Picket Fences), Dina Meyer (Starship Troopers), and Dondre Whitfield (The Crew), it was the stylish and nitro-fueled adventures of a trio of agents working for the mysterious Agency, and each week they defended the free world against a variety of evil terrorists, rogue agents, and megalomaniacs bent on world domination. Created by Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black) and Barry Josephson (Wild Wild West), the pair also acted as Executive Producers for the series. While not a spin-off or even an update of the 60's spy classic Secret Agent, this new series did share the same theme song, "Secret Agent Man". The song was written by the team of Phil Sloan and Steve Barri, and originally sung by Johnny Rivers. This time around it was now updated for the 21st Century by ‘The Supreme Beings of Leisure'. While developing a small cult following, the ratings were poor, and UPN called an end to the series after only twelve episodes.moreless
