Based on the celebrated author Mordecai Richler's delightfully irreverent books, Jacob Two-Two is a stylish animated adventure series featuring globetrotting, freewheeling international spies, mysterious neighbors, revolting cafeteria food, treacherous teachers and one very spirited boy. The youngest of five children, Jacob is nicknamed Two-Two because he sometimes has to say things twice just to be heard! Small for his age, Jacob nonetheless has a big heart and a heaping helping of determination, anything from foiling the plots of internal spies to exposing the evil ways of the cafeteria lady. An enduring book-based property, Jacob Two-Two features a beloved underdog's run-ins with the mysterious and often surreal world of adults in a show that is Two good Two be true!

Darkly-styled, Jacob's world is full of odd things. Library ninjas chase after delinquent patrons (fortunately, Jacob has a perfect record.) His teacher is not-so-secretly sweet on his principal and his world is filled with shady and sinister villains lurking in the shadows. Fortunately, Jacob is brighter than the average boy, thanks to excellent reading and logic skills. He also sometimes has the help of Kid Power --- his older brother and sister Noah and Emma.

Jacob Two-Two is a production of Nelvana Studios, the studios behind such enduring franchises as Franklin and Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends. Fans of the series will find many familiar names in both the cast and crew --- such as writer Peter Sauder (writer for the very first episode of Franklin) and John van Bruggen (writer and/or director for programs such as Franklin, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Coolman! and Franny's Feet.)

Jacob Two-Two currently is airing on Sundays at 11:30a.m. and 6:00p.m. as well as weekdays at 3:30p.m. on YTV. Note that all times are in EST. Looking for Two-Two in the United States? You can now find him on NBC's Qubo block, Saturdays at 12:30p.m. The program also repeats on i (formerly PAX) on Fridays.

Jacob Two-Two: When Jacob was younger, he got his 'Two-Two' nickname because he said everything twice. Now that he's a little older, he doesn't do it all the time, but still frequently falls back into his old habit of repeating himself. He inadvertently causes trouble because he always tells the truth.

Morty (Dad): Jacob's father is the writer of a series of adventure books. He spends his time in his office in the attic working out labyrinthine plots, or checking the hockey scores for his favourite team the Montreal Marvels or most often snoozing on the sofa with the newspaper draped over his face. He also loves jokes and making gentle fun of his children.

Florence (Mom): She is an expert juggler of tasks, happiest when operating at full throttle. Besides keeping her family on the go and organized, she also holds down a full time job. As busy as she is, Jacob's Mom always manages to look very chic and 'pulled together', and breezes through each day with effortless grace.

Daniel: The eldest at 16, Daniel is an aloof and hopelessly cynical teen. A professional rebel permanently garbed in black, he is fully conversant in all the newest bands and music crazes. Daniel doesn't have much time for Jacob, but once in a while, when he's in a good mood, will sit down and give his kid brother a unique 'teen view' of the world.

Marfa: Marfa is a girl suffering through the toughest teen years and frequently takes it out on everyone around her. Preoccupied with her own concerns, she has even less time for Jacob than Daniel does. Convinced that Jacob ruins everything he touches, she doesn't like him going anywhere near her stuff. To Jacob she occupies a rarefied world that he doesn't understand at all... welcome to the mystery of girls!

Emma and Noah: Energetic, athletic, full of daring and theatrical bravado. They have their own secret club Kid Power and spend long hours in their clubhouse in the yard fighting imaginary battles as their alter egos the intrepid Shapiro and the fearless O'Toole. They won't allow Jacob into their 'clubhouse', which just makes him long to get in there all the more! He is constantly doing their bidding in the hope that this time, maybe this time they'll really let him inside.

Buford Orville Gaylord Pugh: An odd little kid with a string of unfortunate names. His lack of anxiety and worries aren't due to a lack of intelligence, they're more due to his basic inability to FOCUS. He is prone to recounting pointless, meandering shaggy dog stories at the drop of a hat. Buford and Jacob are both new kids at school.

    X. Barnaby Dinglebat: On the surface he's a mild mannered meter reader for the Montreal Gas Company, but X. Barnaby lets a wide eyed Jacob in on his secret profession: he's really a globetrotting, freewheeling international spy! Barnaby is the only adult Jacob knows who always has time for him and treats him as an equal. Barnaby opens up a whole new world of adventure and possibility to his next door neighbour. He's also got a lot of cool tricks and awesome spycraft to share, along with the usual assortment of weird spy gear and gizmos.

Renée Ratelle: Renée is that French girl in Jacob's class that he's never gotten along with. When Renée shows up in the middle of an investigation, trying to solve the same mystery Jacob and Barnaby are trying to solve, the only rational solution is to join forces. Since Renée is a real hothead who doesn't always look before she leaps, it becomes Jacob's role to temper her enthusiasm. Of course neither of them can actually admit to being friends with a member of the opposite sex.

I.M. Greedyguts: Jacob's school principal is a very, very large man. An incorrigible glutton, Greedyguts also suffers from an enduring dislike of children, which causes him to be rather severe with his pupils. He is fond of eating, but his greed also extends to material possessions.

"Perfectly Loathsome" Leo Louse: Leo works as the janitor at the school. When Greedyguts needs dirty work done, or a mess swept under the carpet, Leo is the man for the job. A weaselly man, a miser and mooch, Leo will swipe whatever isn't nailed down. Morty is mysteriously fond of Leo, much to the children's disgust, and whenever Leo drops by he'll fill his pockets with Florence's sandwiches. The two also have a weakly poker game together.

Miss Sour Pickle: Jacob's geography teacher Miss Sour Pickle has a permanent scowl plastered on her face, like she smells something bad. She glories in catching her students not paying attention or talking in class, then giving them snap quizzes on the obscure capitals of equally obscure countries. The only thing Sour Pickle loves to do more than torment Two Two is cheer for her favourite team, the marvelous Montreal Marvels. It's her biggest secret that she simply adores hockey.

Hooded Fang: The professional wrestler with the terrifying mask and bad guy image. His true nature, as Jacob discovers one day, is sweet and gentle. He only acts like a barbarian because it's written in his contract. He's really a big kid at heart, and becomes a great secret pal of Jacob's, occasionally helping out when a mission requires someone really really big.

Miss Sweetie Darlingpie: This absolutely adorable little old lady down the street is constantly roaming about offering everyone she meets delicious baked goods. "Cookie?!" In true Miss Marple style, her innocent frizz-haired facade hides a lethal criminal intellect. It will be revealed late in the cycle that the dotty old dame is actually Barnaby's arch?nemesis Chiller Cheswick!

Sergeant Law and Corporal Order: This duo are the neighbourhood's local bumbling policemen. They can best be described as "bumbling" --- they often chase after Jacob for non-existent crimes and they also personify stereotypes, such as "cops eating donuts."moreless

Wimzie's House, an educationally entertaining series for preschool kids, premiered on YTV Canada 11 September 1995. Its PBS debut occurred 1 September 1997, after the series' production ended. The series presented the delightful adventures of Wimzie, a playful five-year-old puppet monster; her baby brother, Bo; her parents, Gratziella and Rouso-a bird/airplane pilot and dragon/firefighter, respectively; her lively 150-year-old grandmother Yaya, and her adorable puppet monster friends. Together, they learned skills of caring and sharing at Wimzie's House-a home daycare center unlike any other. Through unforgetable learning adventures and original toe-tapping sing-along songs, young viewers were introduced to topics like friendship, generosity, jealousy, diversity, and sibling rivalry, all from a preschooler's point of view. The award-winning series was created with a renowned team of educational advisors and designed to nurture children's sense of identity, expand their relationships, stimulate their curiousity, and encourage self-expression and self-esteem. Wimzie's House helped children learn to express themselves and communicate with their families and friends. From Yaya's cozy kitchen, where the kids experimented with culinary projects, to the comfortable living room couch where they curled up for naptime, Wimzie's House provided the perfect place to explore both social and family issuesthat children face everyday. The series' characters and setting were just familiar enough for kids to identify with, but different enough to underscore the fact that the action takes place in an enchanted fantasy world of monsters. Wimzie's House was produced for YTV Canada and aired in America as one of PBS's successful shows. While it still airs daily on YTV Canada's offshoot Treehouse, Wimzie's House was removed from PBS September 30, 2001. The real tragedy of the PBS cancellation was that, out of 112 shows, only 85 programs were aired in America. First Aired: YTV Canada, Sept. 1995-Dec. 1996 First U.S. Telecast: September 1, 1997 Last U.S. Telecast: September 30, 2001 Show Type: Educational Episodes 112 color episodes. Imagine a world where kids clamour to replace their household pets… with monsters! That’s right; goldfish and gerbils are passe. In the new millennium, hideous monsters are all the rage; and there’s a lot to know about raising these carnivorous pets. Good thing 12-year-old Brady Plunkett is up for the job. Learn the dos, don'ts, and do-at-your-own-risks of raising a beast from Brady; monster-rights activist extraordinaire! CHARACTERS Brady Plunkett This outspoken twelve-year-old video virtuoso has a passion for misunderstood Monsters everywhere. It all started during a lightning storm when he was barely four. Arlene, his ornery older sister, convinced Brady that the scratching outside the window was not a branch, but a Monster wanting to come in... and eat Brady. Well, it turned out it actually was a Monster, and it actually did want to eat Brady. So, feeling sorry for the hungry beast, Brady tossed that night’s leftovers out the window. The Monster scarfed it, gave a final sniff toward Brady, who had sought refuge under his covers, and then vanished into the cluttered depths of Brady's closet. And though he didn’t know it at the time, the spark of Brady Plunkett’s noble cause was ignited. Like kids everywhere, Brady had come to love and fear his monster for the fright it was... an undeniable part of every childhood. In the years to come, he’d take the “Monster by the Horns”, and attempt to introduce these eerie creatures to domesticated life. Brady has a unique way of reaching the inner feelings of most any monster. A real “Doctor Ghoulittle”. But he’s also a somewhat hapless boy with misguided confidence, determined to maintain his ideals for a perfect world in which man and Monster can live together in harmony. Virgil Arp Brady's twelve year old best buddy. The handsome star in many of Brady's video productions, young Virgil is determined to shine on screen despite his one little shortcoming. He’s frightened to death of Monsters, having never forgiven them for no doubt hiding beneath his bed when he was a toddler. Not the sharpest tack in the junk drawer, and with a hambone tendency to overact that would make Vincent Price proud, Virgil finds himself in many a “hairy” predicament with Monsters as his costars. Ember Tombs This thirteen year old friend of Brady's is a beauty with a ghoulish fascination for the morbid side of life... or death. She sleeps with a voodoo doll, designs her own line of “bone” jewelry, and gushes enthusiastically when Monster training sessions go terribly awry. However, Ember’s weird talents often prove handy in tight situations. As far as owning a Monster herself, Ember is a bit fickle - taking uncanny pleasure in testing a continuing procession of assorted creatures to welcome the unwary visitor to her house. Every time Brady and Virgil visit, the goosey Virgil must always brace himself for the unexpected. Stitch Man of many pieces and unable to communicate much beyond grunting the occasional hostile word, this Monster is a towering mass of menace. However, Brady manages to sometimes touch a nerve with the big guy, getting an insight that few others live to see. What Brady learns is that Stitch, patched together from any number of unique and generally reluctant “donors”, suffers from the ultimate of identity crises. Really a sensitive Monster, Stitch is suspicious there might be a “female part” somewhere in his anatomy, since he occasionally “tends that way.” When he’s not out on a senseless rampage, Stitch is sentimentally driven to construct a virtual forest of family trees in hopes of tracking down any and all lost family members, where he hopes to introduce himself. But he’s annoyed at popular myth that has the outstretched arms of Frankenstein Monsters interpreted only as a gesture of hostility. Sometimes it really means they just wanta hug. But then again, sometimes it means they’re trying to throttle you. People should just be able to tell the difference!moreless

Rupert the Bear was a popular show in the early and mid-nineties. However, the Rupert craze actually began in 1920. When the common British newspaper, "The Daily Express", realized that to actually compete with rival newspapers they would need a children's comic. The owner of the paper, Lord Beaverbrook consulted one of his chief editors, R.D. Blumenfield, about this issue. Blumenfield was having a difficult time devising an appropriate character that would be entertaining for the children yet proper enough to please their parents. One day Blumenfield approached another one of the newspaper's prominent editors, Henry Toutel about his dilemma. Toutel informed Blumenfield that his wife was a relatively well-known cartoonist and children's book writer. Henry told his wife, Mary, about the cartoon project. She was able to create the ideal character for the cartoon, so the "Daily Express" offered her the job of creating the comic. Mary excitedly accepted the offer. The first Rupert comic, titled "The Adventures of a Little, Lost Bear" premiered on November 8, 1920. The cartoon consisted of two drawings with a brief caption beneath them. Mary continued to be the sole creator of the cartoon until 1935, when her eyesight began to fail. At that point Alfred Bestall was appointed as Mary's substitute. His term was to be six weeks, but he crafted the cartoon so excellently, that he was given a permanent position. In 1936 the first of an ongoing annual collection of "The Adventures of a Little, Lost Bear" was published in book form. Bestall continued his role as comic artist and writer until his retirement in 1965, thirty years after he took the temporary job. After Bestall's retirement several other local artists replaced him. Even today Rupert's cartoon is being published daily in the "Daily Express". In 1991, an animated series based on the Rupert, the lead character in "The Adventures of a Little, Lost Bear" was released. The television series had slight variations from the comic, and the series was called "The Adventures of Rupert the Bear" was created. This series focused on the life and trials of young bear named, Rupert. Rupert lived in a magical village with his friends and family. Every episode featured one of Rupert's whimsical adventures. The series was a huge hit in Britain because it was much like the comic, except now Rupert was able to reach a wider audience by way of television. Later, Rupert was shown in the United States on Nickelodeon. The series ceased production in 1997, and is no longer aired in the United States, but it is still very popular in England. Rupert and his friends are positive role models for children, so I am certain that they will continue to reach large audiences through television. Welcome, fellow prisoners, to TV.com Radio Active page! Here you can read and share information with other Radio Active fans. Post in the message board, visit other fan pages, and vote for your favourite episode! The YTV Radio Active schedule is now available on this guide (scroll down to view all the episodes being shown on YTV for the days to come). This series deals a bunch of teenagers in High School (should be in Grade 12 by the end of the third season), who runs a Radio Broadcasts about news around the school, and contains edutainment shows and factors and music. In all three seasons, George Goodwin, Morgan Leigh, Tanya Panda, Blaire Resnickie, Roger Richards, Kevin Calvin, and Ethan St. John faces problems, school work, social stuff just like in reality. CHARACTERS GEORGE GOODWIN: George is a fool and is always unpredictable. A weird teenager who is not aware with what is happening around him. He is always confused and does not understand most things. He has a very strange personality and attitude. The spikey-haired guy that is a master at science and technology, but he only reveals this for a while before he becomes an idiot again. You never know what his grades are in school because all his work that are handed in is different from the others. Likes spending with his uncle Tibby and reading Normal Man comics, and has a very strange reality. No one understands how George does something incredibly ingenious or completely stupid. He one day wants to become a janitor, a quick or snappy dry cleaner, testing mattresses, or a mime. MORGAN LEIGH: The most productive worker at Radio Active, and has a history of very well done shows. She likes to think for herself and is able to help her fellow Radio Active friends with her cleaver ideas. Witty and reliable, she still hates the school system - she thinks that all the work that is given out are useless. She does not like Ms. Atoll but it is always covered up in front of the teacher. She one day hopes to become a film director. TANYA PANDA: A quiet and cautious person who wants to one day become a psychic. The most serious person in the group, she helps the entire group have peace among each other. She loves reading the horoscopes and tried to pursue a psychiatrist career. BLAIRE RESNICKIE: Perhaps the most unintelligent teenager in the school at the moment. Just like Kevin, he is only doing well in sports. He is always looking for new girlfriends and is unaware what they think of him. The competitive jock is born a leader, and wants to carry that through Radio. He has wacky plans that never actually work and he is one of the coolest people in the school. At the end of the series, he can become smart whenever he wants to - just by being hit in the head and can be reversed just by making the same action. ROGER RICHARDS: His ultimate goal is to please others. He believes his criticisms of others are entertaining and cool but everyone knows sooner or later that they too will be at the receiving end of one of his remarks. An intellectual being, he receives good marks while sucking up to Ms. Atoll. A weasel (stated by Tanya using psychiatrical terms), just like Ethan who does anything to get what he wants. KEVIN CALVIN: Incredibly dumb, he still thinks he is very smart compared to the others in his group. He is the captain of the hockey team and also joins other sports team to continue his popularity. He almost never had a chance to date any hot babes roaming the halls of Upper Redwood High, and is determined to please each one so they would go out with him. He has a very big ego, and is referred to as "boss" of Radio Active by Ethan St. John, he is a born leader and his ideas are lame and never work, but at the end, he sometimes make up the damage he has done. ETHAN ST. JOHN: Very concerned about his stocks and bank account, he is the biggest businessman and scam salesman in Radio Active. A big dweeb and suck, he carries his cell phone or pager with him everywhere. He has it with him to communicate with his mother. One of his most respectable shows on Radio Active is "The Stock Report". He wishes to be rich, so he can have lots of money to buy whatever he wants, so he does not need to go around the school selling different objects that do not seem to be whatever he is selling. He sells anything he can get his hands on - anything that is used and do not work at all, food that are not edible, liquids that do not do whatever he says it does, or forging different items. MR. ANGUS NOSEWORTHY: A laid-back vice principal of discipline who is clumsy and has no self-discipline. Miz Atoll is constantly trying to provoke him into action. But he has his own method for running the school and being stern is definitely not part of it. He constantly talks about "when I was your age..." anecdotes that are related to the student's topic but never solves their problem. MS. NOELLE ATOLL: She's a stern, set in her ways literature teacher who's respected by her students. She doesn't want to be responsible for "this self-indulgent mis-adventure in extra curricular activity", but she's been stuck with the job of moderating Radio Active. She does her absolute best to make life as miserable as possible for those foolish enough to sign up for Radio Active. No one ever quite understands what she wants because she sets something for the students to work on, but in her mind, she does not want them to follow her orders so she can send out multiple detentions or see them fail. SARAH LEIGH: Younger sister of Morgan's who constantly annoys/interrupts the group while they are at work. She loves entering the anteroom in the first season because her true love, Kevin is present. She signed up for mail duty multiple times, and glides through the halls with her roller blades to give mail to the students and teachers. She is full of insincere compliments for everyone.moreless

There was "Behind the Scenes" info that was givin out. I typed them all out here. With no edits of my own. Keep in mind though. That this info was givin out before G4 decided to cancel the series. Therefore, some of the tips do have information about there being more to the 3rd season. That never made it passed one episode. #205 - Ferocious married beasts, Murray & Nancy, made their first Portal appearance in this very episode. How very...beastly! ---- - If Portal did not recieve complimentary accounts from game publishers, their monthly bill would be over $500 per month! ---- - Who is that very mysterious woman who was seeking Dave in The Hub? The answer will finally be revealed next season! #206 - The first virtual charactor to ever speak on Portal was "Swordsman Supreme," way, way, way, way back in Episode 1. ---- - Every single member of the dedicated Portal team has at least 10 pounds of MMOG strategy guides stored at their desks.PD ---- - This episode marks the very first appearance of Bob Klaws, a villian who wreaked havoc on this season of Portal. #207 - Portal uses six high-speed computers to create the virtual scenes for the show. Dave is real-he only seems virtual. ---- - To date, the purpose of "the tube" remains one of the biggest mysteries on Portal. "The Tube" fanfic, anyone? Anyone? ---- - Dave had to hold his breath while filming the infamous tube shots. Rumors of him crying like a baby are exaggerated. #210 - Dave gave serious consideration to turning The Great Fernando into a regular character. Perhaps one day he'll be back... ---- - It takes nearly two weeks to film all of the in-game footage from a single episode of Portal. Two long hard weeks. ---- - Next season on Portal you can expect to see City of Heroes, Lineage 2, Dragon Empires, Ultima X: Oddyssey, and more! #212 - The hospital room in this episode is really a conference room at G4! And there was a meeting going on in it at the time! ---- - Dave is a memeber of SMUTLUV: Strong Men Unafriad To Like Unicorns Visibly. Wait. How do you love a Unicorn...nevermind. ---- - Portal films in "secret locations" or "shadow worlds," where players can't disturb the in-game filming process. #213 - The limitless costumizability of Second life makes the game a creative godsend for the Portal team. Yay, Second Life! ---- - In Dirk Ruddy's first Hollywood role, he played a bystander in a feature film starring Portal's very own Grooter. ---- - Dirk Ruddy's movie career was initially ruined by Portal arch-villian, Apex. Yay, Apex! Ummm...ignore that last bit. #214 - Portal requires special in-world tools from game devolpers to make production of this show possible. Portal is special. ---- - Performing the gruff voices of the beast couple can cause the voice actors to erupt in spontaneous coughing attacks. ---- - The Portal team often uses real life MMOG players to film the virtual crowd and, mob scenes for the transmission. #215 - Bob initially used his own mother(!) to track down and secure the services of his assitant Truggy. Oh, Bob. Bobby Bob. ---- - In the early days, Portal was more about information, but G4 quickly aggreed to the value of a story-based series ---- - Eternally red: The actor who voices Truggy is a redhead in real life as, well. And you know what they say about redheads... #216 - The worst continuity error of Season 2 is in this episode. Can you spot it? Want a hint about it? Yeah? Too Bad! ---- - Bob Klaws, Sargeant Moe Tuesday, and Grooter are three Portal characters who have gone "live action." Who will be next? ---- - The warehouse clerk in this episode is also a regular and, valued member of the Portal team. Gooooo Team Portal! #217 - This episode marks the Debut of a spiffy new blue flight suit. We like to think of it as Portal's Blue Period. ---- - First appearance alert! This episode introduces Krex, a reptillian creature who's taken an unhealthy interest in Yoodle. ---- - Sir Blue Claims to have studied acting with the other great "Sirs"... Sir Alec Guiness, Sir Anthony Hopkins, etc. #218 - Portal begins filming in many digital worlds weeks and, sometimes months before they are opened to the public. ---- - Did you know VAL never overcooks turkey? And her cranberry sauce is to die for. Don't even get us started on her pie... ---- - Grooter's early years (see ep. #117) bear a remarkable resemblance to the origin story of Superman. Makes you think. #219 - The walls of The Hub were painted darker after this transmission...can you tell? Don't lie, you couldn't tell. At all. ---- - The orange alien's voice is loosely modeled on Sports commentator Marv Albert. Can you tell? You couldn't, could you? ---- - Yoodle and Grooter first met way back in episode 13 of season 1. Can you tell? Oh, wait that doesn't make sense. #221 - New title alert: Watch for "Everquest 2" as an important location in Portal's upcoming 3rd season. Yep. Everquest 2. ---- - Dave learned that Berney lost his ability to understand language 19 episodes ago! We're shocked he ever had it all! ---- - The soul of Portal's spiritual advisor Rick has occupied 5 bodies including green slime, an old man, and a tree monster. #222 - Prior to working at glamorous G4, Portal's Dave worked in the marketing department at E! Entertainment Television. ---- - Arena's own Kevin Pereira created the intentionally annoying music track that accompanies Snuggy's unbearable singing. ---- - This episode features Snuggy Dove's first appearance, but Rick learned of a Dove sister 11 episodes earlier. #223 - The Ultimate was Portal's first arch villian, introduced way back in episode 2. That's waaaaaaaaay back there. ---- - Dave is also Portal's writer. He can often be found behind his laptop in Hollywood coffeehouses planning the show. ---- - The Portal team had to be very careful not to damage the dummy... In truth, it was a "rental." Yes, you can rent a dummy. Backround information: Season 1 In the first season many events occurred. You get tours of the virtual worlds. The reporters are many at first. Sadly they dwindle down in numbers. In the beggining there is talk of a mysterious stranger. Known only as the Drifter. Once the Drifter appears it is clear that he is on the side of good. Then an evil force is there as, well. Coming about at the same time of the Drifter, the Ultimate. All he wants is to destroy everything and, become master of the Portals. The viewers respond to this and, ask why can't he just get his own show(in viewer mail). The Ultimate has a minion as, well. Darwin is the first minion of the Ultimate. He has a club made by the Ultimate and, he reaks havoc with it. No one would ever be able to stop him(Darwin) with mere strength. The Drifter challenges Darwin and, they meet. Face to face they stand ready to fight. Darwin cheats and, takes a potion so, that he is even more powerful then ever. The Drifter taunts Darwin. Darwin is confused. The Drifter has a potion of his own and, before the Drifter can take it. Darwin snatches it away and, drinks. The Drifter and, Darwin start fighting. The Drifter appears to be losing with his armor and, sword useless. The Drifter smirks. Darwin is even more confused. The Drifter had poisend Darwin. Darwin falls and, now all there is to take care of is the Ultimate. Spread your opinions on the Portal forums!moreless

    YTV (ended 2008)
This show is about a group of teenagers that have come together to battle monsters that have been brought to life by a former monster movie creator. Four Teens named Luke, Tabby, Antonio and Vanka originally banded together for a school project on spiders when their city, Capital City, came under attack by a former movie maker named Claus Von Steinhauer. The creature that attacked Capital City was a spider, and since they were doing a project on spiders, they decided to investigate. They felt responsible to destroy this monster with every member of the monster warriors using their unique talents to form weapons and armour in order to defeat the monster created by the B movie king Claus Von Steinhauer. Claus Von Steinhauer creates his monsters using a machine named the monster maker and usually these monsters are created from B movies that he created in the 1950’s. There are also people trying to contact the monster warriors from another timeline in order to change the history of events for Capital City. Along with the help of a movie store owner and Claus Von Steinhauer movie buff named Kreiger and also the mayor of Capital City (Mayor Mel) giving them heads up about monster attacks, these teens team up using new weapons made out of junk in order to defeat the monsters created by Claus Von Steinhauer. Character Guides Luke is the 18 year-old reserved yet tough leader of the Monster Warriors. He’s tall, rich and handsome and he holds the keys to the gang’s sweet retro convertible and coach-house headquarters (you’d be rich too if your parents invented the grocery cart coin dispenser!). Tabby This 17 year-old fancies herself the second-in-command of the Monster Warriors crew. She’s a real gadget Queen who takes ordinary household appliances and turns em’ into monster-blasting weaponry—hold on to your hair diffuser around this girl! When she’s not battling giant creatures she’s captain of the volleyball team, school class president, and all-around goodie two-shoes. (note: don’t want to harp on “popular”) Antonio He’s the 17 year-old scientific genius of the gang. Happiest when pondering zoology, astronomy, geology and monsters—he may sound like a nerd, but he’s a nerd with a ton of female admirers! Vanka This 17 year-old stealthy warrior makes up the mysterious element of the team. Her crazy moped driving and eagerness to kick monster-butt also makes her the bravest. Mayor Mel He used to be a 1960’s movie star (when beach movies were big), but he made his real fortune selling above-ground swimming pools. These days he’s the beloved mayor of Capital City and he’ll be really good at it…as soon as he figures out how a bill or legislation is passed. Always a friend to the Monster Warriors, he is the first one to give them a buzz when a nasty monster shows up, uninvited, in Capital City. Klaus Von Steinhauer In the 1950s he was a B movie king, with such “big bug” hits as The Giant Spider Invasion…and then beach movies hit it big. When that happened, he fell into obscurity and has spent the last 40 years plotting revenge on the city that turned its back on his artistic genius (during which time he was also the victim of an alien abduction and escaped from a retirement home). His evildoing is the Monster Warriors’ reason for banding together. Superintendent McClellan This paper-pusher is a real stickler for policy and procedure. He’s Mayor Mel’s right-hand-guy, but he’s no Warrior ally—in fact quite the opposite! When something goes wrong in Capital City, teenagers are blamed—namely the Monster Warriors, but by the time he’s called a meeting to discuss the disaster, the Warriors have already zapped the “problem” and saved the day.moreless

Gundam Seed is the latest in a series of mecha anime that is currently 26 years old. The story revolves around a war between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT (Zodiac Allied of Freedom Treaty) treaty. Ages ago a man altered his genes to bring out his full genetic potential. He became the first coordinator. He announced this in the hopes of inspiring others to strive to be the best. What he did was create a conflict between coordinators and naturals (normal born unaltered humans). The story centers around Kira Yamato a coordinator who is dragged into the war by fate. He witnesses the attack on his home colony and the abduction of four of the five Earth Mobile Suits (later dubbed Gundams). During the abduction he comes face to face with one of the thieves, Athrun Zala, his childhood friend. Throughout the anime Kira has many doubts and uncertainties because of his nature and the fact that he's fighting against his own kind while striving to protect his friends.moreless
