There was "Behind the Scenes" info that was givin out. I typed them all out here. With no edits of my own. Keep in mind though. That this info was givin out before G4 decided to cancel the series. Therefore, some of the tips do have information about there being more to the 3rd season. That never made it passed one episode. #205 - Ferocious married beasts, Murray & Nancy, made their first Portal appearance in this very episode. How very...beastly! ---- - If Portal did not recieve complimentary accounts from game publishers, their monthly bill would be over $500 per month! ---- - Who is that very mysterious woman who was seeking Dave in The Hub? The answer will finally be revealed next season! #206 - The first virtual charactor to ever speak on Portal was "Swordsman Supreme," way, way, way, way back in Episode 1. ---- - Every single member of the dedicated Portal team has at least 10 pounds of MMOG strategy guides stored at their desks.PD ---- - This episode marks the very first appearance of Bob Klaws, a villian who wreaked havoc on this season of Portal. #207 - Portal uses six high-speed computers to create the virtual scenes for the show. Dave is real-he only seems virtual. ---- - To date, the purpose of "the tube" remains one of the biggest mysteries on Portal. "The Tube" fanfic, anyone? Anyone? ---- - Dave had to hold his breath while filming the infamous tube shots. Rumors of him crying like a baby are exaggerated. #210 - Dave gave serious consideration to turning The Great Fernando into a regular character. Perhaps one day he'll be back... ---- - It takes nearly two weeks to film all of the in-game footage from a single episode of Portal. Two long hard weeks. ---- - Next season on Portal you can expect to see City of Heroes, Lineage 2, Dragon Empires, Ultima X: Oddyssey, and more! #212 - The hospital room in this episode is really a conference room at G4! And there was a meeting going on in it at the time! ---- - Dave is a memeber of SMUTLUV: Strong Men Unafriad To Like Unicorns Visibly. Wait. How do you love a Unicorn...nevermind. ---- - Portal films in "secret locations" or "shadow worlds," where players can't disturb the in-game filming process. #213 - The limitless costumizability of Second life makes the game a creative godsend for the Portal team. Yay, Second Life! ---- - In Dirk Ruddy's first Hollywood role, he played a bystander in a feature film starring Portal's very own Grooter. ---- - Dirk Ruddy's movie career was initially ruined by Portal arch-villian, Apex. Yay, Apex! Ummm...ignore that last bit. #214 - Portal requires special in-world tools from game devolpers to make production of this show possible. Portal is special. ---- - Performing the gruff voices of the beast couple can cause the voice actors to erupt in spontaneous coughing attacks. ---- - The Portal team often uses real life MMOG players to film the virtual crowd and, mob scenes for the transmission. #215 - Bob initially used his own mother(!) to track down and secure the services of his assitant Truggy. Oh, Bob. Bobby Bob. ---- - In the early days, Portal was more about information, but G4 quickly aggreed to the value of a story-based series ---- - Eternally red: The actor who voices Truggy is a redhead in real life as, well. And you know what they say about redheads... #216 - The worst continuity error of Season 2 is in this episode. Can you spot it? Want a hint about it? Yeah? Too Bad! ---- - Bob Klaws, Sargeant Moe Tuesday, and Grooter are three Portal characters who have gone "live action." Who will be next? ---- - The warehouse clerk in this episode is also a regular and, valued member of the Portal team. Gooooo Team Portal! #217 - This episode marks the Debut of a spiffy new blue flight suit. We like to think of it as Portal's Blue Period. ---- - First appearance alert! This episode introduces Krex, a reptillian creature who's taken an unhealthy interest in Yoodle. ---- - Sir Blue Claims to have studied acting with the other great "Sirs"... Sir Alec Guiness, Sir Anthony Hopkins, etc. #218 - Portal begins filming in many digital worlds weeks and, sometimes months before they are opened to the public. ---- - Did you know VAL never overcooks turkey? And her cranberry sauce is to die for. Don't even get us started on her pie... ---- - Grooter's early years (see ep. #117) bear a remarkable resemblance to the origin story of Superman. Makes you think. #219 - The walls of The Hub were painted darker after this transmission...can you tell? Don't lie, you couldn't tell. At all. ---- - The orange alien's voice is loosely modeled on Sports commentator Marv Albert. Can you tell? You couldn't, could you? ---- - Yoodle and Grooter first met way back in episode 13 of season 1. Can you tell? Oh, wait that doesn't make sense. #221 - New title alert: Watch for "Everquest 2" as an important location in Portal's upcoming 3rd season. Yep. Everquest 2. ---- - Dave learned that Berney lost his ability to understand language 19 episodes ago! We're shocked he ever had it all! ---- - The soul of Portal's spiritual advisor Rick has occupied 5 bodies including green slime, an old man, and a tree monster. #222 - Prior to working at glamorous G4, Portal's Dave worked in the marketing department at E! Entertainment Television. ---- - Arena's own Kevin Pereira created the intentionally annoying music track that accompanies Snuggy's unbearable singing. ---- - This episode features Snuggy Dove's first appearance, but Rick learned of a Dove sister 11 episodes earlier. #223 - The Ultimate was Portal's first arch villian, introduced way back in episode 2. That's waaaaaaaaay back there. ---- - Dave is also Portal's writer. He can often be found behind his laptop in Hollywood coffeehouses planning the show. ---- - The Portal team had to be very careful not to damage the dummy... In truth, it was a "rental." Yes, you can rent a dummy. Backround information: Season 1 In the first season many events occurred. You get tours of the virtual worlds. The reporters are many at first. Sadly they dwindle down in numbers. In the beggining there is talk of a mysterious stranger. Known only as the Drifter. Once the Drifter appears it is clear that he is on the side of good. Then an evil force is there as, well. Coming about at the same time of the Drifter, the Ultimate. All he wants is to destroy everything and, become master of the Portals. The viewers respond to this and, ask why can't he just get his own show(in viewer mail). The Ultimate has a minion as, well. Darwin is the first minion of the Ultimate. He has a club made by the Ultimate and, he reaks havoc with it. No one would ever be able to stop him(Darwin) with mere strength. The Drifter challenges Darwin and, they meet. Face to face they stand ready to fight. Darwin cheats and, takes a potion so, that he is even more powerful then ever. The Drifter taunts Darwin. Darwin is confused. The Drifter has a potion of his own and, before the Drifter can take it. Darwin snatches it away and, drinks. The Drifter and, Darwin start fighting. The Drifter appears to be losing with his armor and, sword useless. The Drifter smirks. Darwin is even more confused. The Drifter had poisend Darwin. Darwin falls and, now all there is to take care of is the Ultimate. Spread your opinions on the Portal forums!moreless

Welcome to the year 2030: Common Era (CE). Bright with possibility, it is a vibrant new world of employment, clean air and a revitalized emphasis on leisure and recreation. The 'good life' is available to all. What more could one want? Well, maybe to live longer. A mysterious virus called Progressive Aging Syndrome (PAS) is causing certain death by the age of 30. The result is a world where youth rule - as med school grads at 16, elders at 22, the driving age is 12! This brave new world has been reclaimed under the name Nexes, a corporation formed by governments, business and the scientific community. With no apparent escape from the deadly virus, Nexes' young medical team are committed to finding a cure....or are they? United in their suspicion of Nexes, 2030CE centers on the idealistic and handsome Hart (Corey Sevier, Lassie), his worldly-wise sister Rome (Tatiana Maslany, Incredible Story Studio) his best friend Robby (Neil Denis, X-Men: Evolution) and his new ally, the beautiful and enigmatic Jakki (Jessica Lucas, Edgemont). Now, mysteriously reclassified as an Eco-Tech by Maxine Rich (Elyse Levesque, Incredible Story Studio, MythQuest), head of Nexes security, his quest for answers leads him into uncharted terrain where hidden conspiracies abound and where the truth, when uncovered, is almost inconceivable. When Hart learns that his genetic makeup will predispose him to the deadly virus, he is determined to discover the cause of the disease and uncover the true intentions behind Nexes' Orwellian regime. Ultimately, the rebel trio find themselves in a race against time - and a race to save their own lives. In Season 2... With Hart left in a strange condition at the end of season 1, season 2 of 2030 CE promises more action-packed adventure with the introduction of several new characters, including Zeus, a leather-clad rogue agent with a dark past who joins Rome, Jakki, and Robby in their fight against Dr. Rich as they attempt to unravel the mystery of Hart's strange condition and rescue him from Nexes' devious plans. Welcome to the System Crash guide at TV.com. This television series features weekly "Lambton Reports" which was designed by teenagers at Lambton High, and the groups' reporters travel across the school to find out about the school's condition and the students' problems to entertain other students. Instead of a school newspaper, the Media club makes a comedy video show of all the bizarre stuff that goes on. Their goal is to have more viewers than the other entertainment groups in the school. So, they must choose interesting ideas, everything that is going on in the school such as sports information, losers, other news, and the history of some of the strangest students of Lambton in the past. The show goes on the closed circuit TV station at lunch hour, but sometimes the media club get distracted by bad lunches, school bullies, and unexpected detentions.

BEAU The preppy, "every hair in place" practical joker of the group. He may look cute and innocent, but don't turn your back on this guy! Beau is also a budding millionaire, with his Lambton Shopping Channel segments, designed to sell the whole school useless trinkets and new age cures.

ZOE The politically aware, vegetarian, sensitive one of the bunch. She is always looking for new causes to become active in. The TV show is a way to help her save the world. Her Parent Service Announcements are designed to help parents learn how to keep their kids from embarrassment.

JAMES The ultimate class clown. He's the new kid but has no problem making friends, and his being disrespectful to teachers only adds to his popularity. James pretends he's not afraid of anything, but he will cave in at the slightest threat. His nervousness is covered up with practical jokes, but he really wants to please everyone and fit in.

SAMANTHA Just moved to Lambton with her family, who sometimes stifles her individuality. At school, she's the most down-to-earth one of the pack. She doesn't fall victim to the latest trends and can see right through people's fakery. Although she can be sarcastic at times, Samantha can also be a loyal and helpful friend.

BOBBY With his quick comebacks and smart-alec remarks, he usually makes short work of them. He's also very talented in manipulating people - one of those being his Vice-Principal mom. All in all, though, Bobby does have a heart of gold beneath that tough exterior.

    YTV (ended 2000)
Summary: Monster By Mistake is a computer animated series that tells a tale of enchantment set in a contemporary world. Warren Patterson is an 8-year-old boy with allergies who has been enchanted by a magical jewel from a mysterious parallel world. Because of a spell that goes awry, Warren turns into a 7-foot-tall blue monster whenever he sneezes. He can't return to his normal form until he sneezes again, and it's anyone's guess when that may happen! Warren and his older sister Tracy also have to deal with the wicked Gorgool who wants to steal the jewel and use it for his own evil purposes; as well as the other unpredictable spells emanating from the jewel and its accompanying Book of Spells. Luckily, the kids have the help of their friend Johnny B. Dead, a ghost of a musician who secretly lives in the Patterson's attic. Warren and Tracy's parents are oblivious to all the magical happenings occurring under their roof, which makes for unending comic possibilities. Characters: Warren It's a tough life being a shy 8 year old with allergies. But life just got a whole lot cooler ever since a spell was accidentally cast on Warren Patterson. Now, every time Warren sneezes, he turns into a huge powerful MONSTER! Being a Monster can be a lot of fun. There is no more need to worry about school bullies; you can run really fast and lift huge boulders without breaking a sweat. Of course Warren also needs to control his little...(or rather, big) secret. The only problem is he can't. You see, Warren can only turn into a Monster by Mistake, whenever he sneezes. And because he has bad allergies, it can happen pretty much anytime, anywhere. Warren's very close with his older sister, Tracy. Along, with the ghostly Johnny B. Dead, Tracy helps Warren realize that he doesn't have to be a Monster to be a great person (being the Monster is just a bonus!). Tracy Do you ever wish that you could make your teacher disappear? Tracy Patterson can....well, sort of. One day, Tracy found a mystical gem called the Jewel of Fenrath, and a strange old book called the Book of Spells. Whenever she reads from the book, she casts a spell from the Jewel. The only problem is that she never knows for sure what will happen because The Book of Spells is written in ancient Fenrathian. Every spell is trial and error. Some errors are very big errors, like the time she accidentally turned her parents into ice cream sundaes. Despite the occasional spell gone wrong, Tracy thinks magic is cool. She spends a lot of time trying to master the Book of Spells. Tracy is confident, capable, smart, and tremendously loyal to her monster of a brother. She's full of optimism and curiosity about the world and can also be a little bossy at times (but hey, she's a big sister!). Tracy believes every problem has a solution, if you think about it hard enough, which is good because she casts a lot of magic spells that need reversing! She is valiant and brave and always keeps her cool in difficult situations. Johnny B. Dead Johnny B. Dead is dead....literally. In his former life, he was a trumpet playing jazz musician. Johnny lives in the Pattersons' attic , (shhhhh, it's a secret)...a secret that is hard to keep because Johnny keeps popping up where he doesn't belong. He has a hard time controlling his appetite, which keeps him in the kitchen messing around with the food. He has a hard time holding back from playing the tunes, which causes the strange sounds to resonate from the attic; and he has a hard time being alone, as Warren and Tracy are the first real friends he's had in a long time. Warren and Tracy are always on their toes trying to come up with explanations for crazy noises, floating objects and strange voices that their parents occasionally hear or see. So far, they have been very successful in keeping their ghostly secret, but who knows how long this will be able to continue. Johnny is always cracking lousy jokes and playing cool swing tunes on his horn. He's a true friend and a great guy to have around. Gorgool Gorgool's a sorcerer and the would-be ruler of Fenrath. Long ago, Gorgool was zapped by the Jewel of Fenrath and was magically shrunk and imprisoned in a glass orb, about the size of a soccer ball. A great vortex hurled him from Fenrath into the somewhat boring world of Pickford. This has made Gorgool angry! Very VERY ANGRY!!! He has never been great at anger management, even at the best of times. Now, he plans to steal back the Jewel of Fenrath and The Book of Spells so that he can escape the ball, return to his normal size and rule Fenrath. Somehow, he conned a dim-witted human to be his Servant. The Servant simply has carry Gorgool around and try and get the Jewel and The Book of Spells from Warren and Tracy. Unfortunately for Gorgool, the Servant always seems to find a way to mess things up. Needless to say, it fills Gorgool with rage to be reliant on such a nincompoop. The Servant The Servant is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. This dim bulb is tall, strong, menacing and extremely clumsy. One day, when The Servant was down on his luck, he found Gorgool in a ball lying on the street. Gorgool promised wealth and power for the Servant if he would help him escape his imprisonment. The Servant believes that if he finds the Book of Spells and Jewel of Fenrath, he will receive a great reward. The Servant clings to that hope and remains pathetically loyal to the bad-tempered super-small guy in the ball. Billy Don't mess with Billy, he's a mean school bully. Billy's hobbies include picking on younger kids and taking stuff that doesn't belong to him. One of his favorite kids to pick on is Warren Patterson. Too bad for Billy, things have changed ever since Warren and Tracy found the Jewel of Fenrath and The Book of Spells. Somehow, every time Billy picks on Warren, a blue monster appears and foils Billy's plans. Billy is sure that Warren is somehow turning into this Monster, but he can't figure out how he does it. He has made it his goal to catch Warren in the act and reveal his secret to the world. Even though he seems like a mean kid, Billy is actually kind of lonely. Nobody likes Billy and the feeling is mutual, but the truth of the matter is that underneath his toughness, Billy just wants to belong. Morgool Morgool is the twin brother of Gorgool, and the ruler of Fenrath. First appeared in episode "Monster On Purpose". Red A resident of Fenrath, she fought against the forces of Morgool. First appeared in episode "Monster On Purpose". Kragon A henchmen of Morgool. First appeared in episode "Keebo for Keeps". Keebo A green ally of Warren and Tracy. Liz Larsen is committed. Committed to her husband. Committed to their three children. Committed to her job. And committed to trying to juggle all of them without spontaneously combusting. With her family beside her, under her and occasionally swinging from the chandelier above her, Liz wades forward in a sea of madness, trying to keep her head above the waves. Good luck. When you're "Committed" to keeping a modern family afloat, it's a full time job... plus overtime... unpaid, of course. Not that she's complaining mind you. Although it may seem to be a life fraught with constant challenge and anxiety, Liz Larsen's family sees to it that her world is also interspersed with enough moments of love, satisfaction and true joy to make it all worthwhile. Based on Michael Fry's popular comic strip of the same name, "Committed" is an animated series that will appeal to the domestic survivor in all of us.moreless

This cuddly little creature is Al, the host of this show. Along with a group of young canadian actors, he would introduce the various sketches of the show. I like to call it a Spoof Variety show, because that's exactly what it was. There were parodies of all sorts of things from Body Break to The Young and the Restless. It started out with one-hour long episodes, including two game show segments, a live musical guest, and lots of sketches in between. It was later cut back to a half-hour. Such sketches included: Body Break ( Body Break )- Talk about how the key to proper exercise is the right motivation. Perhaps letting a dog chase you, with a hefty steak attached to your leg, or maybe calling a guy fatso and lardbucket till he starts running after you. The Young the Beautiful, the Shallow ( The Young and the Restless )- A hilarious spoof of the overdone, melodramatic soap opera including such ridiculous storylines as when Portia falls under amnesia and when she discovers that her boyfriend has been secretly cutting her hair in order to make a sweater. Another incident involved the italian mafia trying to take over an ex-karaoke star's fashion magazine empire.moreless

Squawkbox is a comedic television series from the YTV network. It was a skit comedy show that aired in 1994 for one season. This show aired each week, and every week it would have multiple comedy skits that would deal with issues of politics, youth and current events in the news. Its target audience was young adults and people in their early twenties, but it reached a large amount of people through its rare comedy skits. This show starred many up and coming comedians including Dov Teifenbach. It also starred many actors and actresses that are young and old. The cast ranged in ages from 12-40 years old, and this large age range brought diversity to the show. The cast was also full of different nationalities, and this too brought diversity to the show. This show was only on the air for one season, but it quickly gained an impressive following. It allowed people to understand the news and politics through comedy.moreless
