Never Had It So Good

Show Summary

Never Had It So Good is a television series that broadcasted on ITV1 during the Summer and Autumn of 2002. The show invites celebrities to guess about the events in the recent past. Greg Scott presented the unaired pilot and prime time favourite Matthew Kelly took over as presenter for the series joining team captains Fred Dinenage and Rowland Rivron. The initial three rounds of the show are almost the same where the celebs are shown a visual of an old video clip, commercial or a few pictures. The celebs need to answer the year of the product or related details regarding the video clip. If their answer is correct, they are asked one or two supplementary questions. Then, there is the final speed round in which the teams have to name five items in each of the category, and they repeat this as much as they want, in the matter of a minute. The program was an attempt to fill part of the 5pm hour after previous attempts at beating Channel Four's Richard and Judy in the same slot had failed. After 39 episodes, the series was cancelled and did not return.
