AIRED:
Actor Howie Melton is going to star in a police movie called "Midnight Heat" and the L.A.P.D. has allowed him access to some of its officers. Sgt. Santos assigns Howie to ride with Officers Grant and Doyle, where he proceeds to complicate a few of their routine calls. The Officers also investigate a series of washer and dryer thefts in the North Valley. Meanwhile, the entire L.A.P.D. must deal with a string of rapes and a violently angry vigilante group that is determined to take the law into their own hands.moreless
