How could they cancel this hsow? Everytime there is a good show that makes you think on TV the network cancels it.

Totally agree with you, this was a quality show, and i am also getting sick of good new shows being cancelled midseason or after the first season, viewers tune in for weeks to view the first season, and then they get no closure at all because it gets cancelled, the one i was annoyed about most closure wise was Traveler!

This completely and totally sucks? All the new and diverse shows that have a bit of a hook or an edge have been cancelled. I cannot believe this. Dirt, New Amsterdam, The Riches, Big Shots and October Road just to name a few off the top of my head. A lot of these shows have left many unanswered questions and have left a lot of viewers feeling quite like a 17 yr old virgin..... taken advantage of and left unsatisfied. Here's a little lesson for the execs out there. If you're going to air a new show, at least have a back up plan on tying up all the loose ends when cancellation comes around. You would probably have more fans of that particular network if you at least have "closure". Thats what you get for hiring kids all shiny and new directly from college. You ought to be hiring the people who actually follow these shows and have lived a little. House wives and husbands who can actually relate to them. I'm still reeling over the 4400. Get a clue execs!

As I've said for years, if the show is good, they'll cancel it. I've seen numerous of great shows with a lot of potential go to waste because the producers are a bunch of lazy morons.

Just to let you guys know. the main actor in the show New Amsterdam is danish, which alot of you prob. know.

Anyway, he started a new show here in Denmark where he also plays a main character.

May and Charlie i believe is a direct translation.

All in all, i believe he did a good job in New Amsterdam and i do think that he will be back in US for more @ some point.

Cheers all and have a good time watching all the other shows, in which a lot starts again here in Sept.

I agree completely. New Am was great. Add to jericho, Journeyman, Eli Stone & Pushing Daisies. What's wrong with these network execs?

You'd think they would get sick of producing these new shows only to turn around and cancel them. Can't they make up they're minds? New Amsterdam was a good show and so was Moonlight.

I agree, like everyone else. What also irritates me is they didn't even bother to put it on DVD. I can't even support the show (it never aired in my country) by purchasing the boxset. I'd love to own a real copy.
