That sucks. I really want to now, who the one really was. Is there any chance, that there will be some kind of statement, what they had in mind John Amsterdam?

I loved this show. I should have knowed not to get involved into new shows on Fox! I wish that I had thought to record them. I only hope that Fox releases the show on DVD!

This is terrible. I realy enjoyed the show and the actors. How they tell in less than 2 months whether a show can make it or not? Please, I've been know to take that long deciding what outfit I'm gonna wear.

fox has made some really dumb moves in the last few years..i cant believe that they would cancel this show...it was great!!! i lovedd the actors and the fact that John kept track of his line for soooooo long....its gonna be missed..but ill be dammed if im gonna watch any new shows that come out on fox unless its been out for more than 2 years...they cancelled, justice, tru calling and now this..they suck

I knew this show was not going to make it... they did not do anything to promote ... I hate Vampire shows so I wont watch those ones BUT the good scifi ones like this one or Journeyman always get canceled.. bugs the hell out of me!!!

Things were starting to look worse and worse for the show. I'm not too upset personally. I was actually starting to like the show less as it went on. I would've watched if it were renewed since 7 episodes is definitely not enough time to prove itself and the episodes probably would have gotten much better but still, I'm not too upset by this.

Oh, it's been going on far longer and in greater numbers than that. John Doe, Firefly, Brimstone...

This was a great show and I believe its cancellation is due partly because of the writers strike. A lot of new shows couldn't get off the ground and grab audiences. I just wish we could find out who the one was.

You know this p*sses me off, I cannot believe Fox has cancelled another show and it makes me wonder if it's worth getting into new series just for them to be cancelled after 6 odd episodes, I know ratings are a big thing and ratings make the money but there are genuine fans of these shows getting crapped on from a great height, and it's not just New Amsterdam, but Drive, K-Ville, Journeyman, Jericho ( okay got a season 2 ) Las Vegas end's, no word on a 4th series of The Unit, Moonlighting could go and that's just to name some of the shows I really got into and enjoyed.
Why aren't we having shows that go on for 6 or more seasons, they did it with a bunch of TV shows in the 80's 90's and even early 2000 so why are we getting a 6 to 13 episode season shows all of a sudden only for a broadcaster ( mainly Fox ) to bin it and replace it with a stupid reality show.
Yes I am from the UK and watch the shows via the internet until they show over here but I still makes me mad and fully support petitions and other cause's to help save or even bring back these shows.

This TOTALLY sucks! These networks wouldn't recognise a decent show if they were slapped with a wet fish! What morons are running the programming? That strike has done so much damage ... I am sure most of this is payback by the networks for the support the actors gave to those striking! I really loved this show ... Network Chiefs ... what a bunch of ducking bankers!!!!!

This happens to me every season. I find shows that I love and they get cancelled. This season alone I'm losing New Amsterdam

Wow... I am getting tired of liking new shows and then they get cancelled. What is the point in putting out so many new ones if they aren't even going to give them much of a shot?? I will miss New Amsterdam.
