All that noise from some people on this forum when it first debuted!

Be positive about this show making it!

    Yeah right!
    When it comes to Fox,sentiments
have absolutely nothing to do with being positive or negative!

Fox's track record speaks for itself!

    And they have spoken again!

We were lucky to get those few episodes and if it wasn't for the
writers' strike, New Amsterdam would have never seen the light of day!

I just found out New Amsterdam is cancelled.. that really sucks! This show had an interesting concept that could've provided many storylines, it had so much potential!
I was really getting into this one and I'm dying to know who his soulmate is.. I'm still betting it's his partner

This was one of the shows I tried - when I dusted off my TV from 5 years of disuse because of awful programming! I thought this show had an interesting storyline that could go for awhile. AGAIN - a network cancels a show I'll sit with! I guess they don't want this viewer to stick around! I've found a place called Viewers with Voices, that are trying to change this pattern. All cancelled-show fans are welcome to help

What really annoys me is the fact that they still sell this show to other networks to fill the summer gap. It's airing in my country now and I'm sure the show will have a lot of fans, but what the TV-addicted people do not know is that it's canceled at the episode count of 7. Same goes for Bionic Woman, just aired here, people got attached and it was over.

The REAL reason shows like these are cancelled:

Too many in the American Audience are too stupid to understand or enjoy quality shows.

All you need to do is to look at the list of the most profitable shows:

Ad Revenue + Overseas Sales Revenue - Costs of Production = profit

That's why Studio 60 was cancelled: Too expensive to produce.

I dont think it´s just that sometimes Fox seems to be after certain showes just to keep the maker there. For example Whedoon and Firefly, they seemed to want it got get few vievers so they could cancel it. And now New amsterdam which i liked after the first 10 minutes, I´m beginning to hate FOX

I agree with the lousy management of great shows on fox and them being cancelled as soon as they get aired. It's redicules. There has got to be a major change at the top for great shows like N.A., Drive, and others to stay on the air.
