In a series of flashbacks Jess, Nick, Schmidt, Winston and Cece tell one another how they each lost their virginity. Not surprisingly, when they realize the stories directly affect their present day sex lives, one relationship will change forever.
- 4/9/13Jess decides to throw Cece a surprise bachelorette party.
- 4/4/13Nick takes Jess out for dinner, but they have differing ideas of whether or not it's a date. Schmidt and Winston worry that if Nick and Jess get together, the dynamic of their friendship will change forever.
- 3/26/13Nick, Jess, Winston, and Schmidt travel to Chicago after the death of Nick's father.
- 3/19/13Jess finds herself growing more attracted to Nick after he starts to take initiative in his job and life. Winston takes a depressed Schmidt to the aquarium, where the latter falls in love with a lionfish.

- 10/30/12It's Halloween and Jess gets a perfect job for the holiday as zombie at a haunted house. Her feelings for Sam is changing. Schmidt interferes with Cece and Robby's costumes. Winston can't understand Shelby's costume. A former college crush visits Nick.
- 10/23/12Jess and Cece have a huge fight over their life choices while Schmidt and Nick fight over their roles in their friendship.
- 10/9/12Jess and Schmidt try to befriend a group of young twentysomethings who have moved in across the hall. Meanwhile, Nick pulls a series of pranks on Schmidt to make him feel like he's getting old.
- 10/2/12In an attempt to get Cece's attention, Schmidt pretends to be someone he's not, which eventually backfires. Winston tries to coach Nick on setting boundaries with Jess after the two spend time together discussing the inner workings of Jess' new relationship.
- 9/25/12When a handsome stranger thinks Jess is his blind date named Katie, Jess goes with it. At the same time, a beer delivery guy who thinks Jess likes him drops at her place.
