    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Goof: Mullen is referred to as an Assistant Deputy Commissioner. No such rank exists in the Metropolitan Police. He wears the rank insignia of a Deputy Assistant Commissioner.

      • Goof: Deputy Commissioner Bob Mullan tells the group that Martin Lombard had setup a mobile phone call to his solicitor who recorded the whole conversation while the team were trying to pressure him into a confession. The recording included the time when Lombard and Jack Halford were locked inside the shipping container. A mobile phone will not work inside a sealed shipping container as the steel walls will block the radio signals.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Sandra: Brian, Jack go see Caroline's sister, Gerry track down members of the original team that are still-
Brian: Please don't say alive, it's so depressing when you say alive.
        Sandra: …Still around.

    • NOTES (1)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Brian: If this isn't a conspiracy to close us once and for all, JFK was killed in the conservatory by Colonel Mustard with a length of bloody lead pipe.

The assassination of JFK (John Fitzgerald Kennedy), 35th President of the United States is an ongoing cause of controversy and a boon to conspiracy theorists.

The character of Colonel Mustard and references to a conservatory and lead pipe are from the board game Cluedo where the object of the game is to discover who murdered Mr Black, in which room and with what weapon.

      • Assistant Commissioner Mullen: If we couldn't break him back then with a crack squad, I fail to see how you now will with Dad's Army.

Dad's Army was a British sitcom about the Local Defence Volunteers (Home Guard) during the Second World War. The LDV's were mostly made up of men who were too old or unsuitable to be called up into regular service.
