  • The detectives go after a trio of bank robbers. McNamara goes undercover that ends in his cover being blown and him being murdered. Edddie and Moreno get married. Eddie leaves the precinct and is killed after a bomb goes off under his car.moreless

I believe this sparked the end of the show. They killed off a major character Eddie, one that was there from the beginning. I don't think I really watched the show too much after the third season. I didn't really like the killing off of McNamara either. I believe they kind of ruined the show for the viewers who had watched from the beginning when it was just JC and Eddie then Moreno. I believe if season 3 was the intended last season, they should have ended it much better than they did. However, I do enjoy watching the reruns on TVOne.moreless
  • Episode when Eddie and McNamara was killed off the show and also the Wedding of Nina and Eddie.

    7.4
I love the episode but at the same time I hated it. The writers should have never wrote for them to get married if they were going to kill him off. To the fans it made it seem that they were married and the next morning he was killed. It was very painful to watch. They interrupted their wedding just to show Jordan perparing to kill Eddie. I love J.C's character but, why couldn't he have died off the show. Eddie and Nina had chemistry and it was sad to watch him die.moreless
  • Great Ending to a great season, but shouldnt have killed off Torres

    8.8
This was a great show. This was a surprising season finale to me. Even though McNamara getting killed off surprised me, Torres getting killed at the end REALLY shocked me. I never expected him to die. I figured they would have him transfer like he did, and then maybe come back every once in awhile as a reoccuring character.

I remeber this was the last episode I watched of the series. I never watched the final season. People say it was terrible because of the new cast. I just recently found this series again on TV ONE on DirecTV(channel 241). This episode just aired and the Final Season will be starting on this Monday(Feb 27th 2006) at 9pm. I am gonna watch to see what I think of the final season.moreless
  • The begining of the end

    1.0
This episode is what killed the series. A perfectly good show until the executives at FOX decide to step in. Apparently, FOX decided they didn\'t have enough white viewers so they wanted to whitten up this show by forcing drastic changes on the producers. After this episode, the music at the end had to be eliminated, along with music during the show, several characters had to be killed and newer characters to be added.

This should probably could have been around for at least five seasons or until they reached 100 for syndication purposes. This is a classic example of what happens show producers lose creative control of their shows.moreless
