    After being humiliated by Bill, Matthew punches him out. As a result the balance of power in the office drastically changes as Bill becomes humble and cordial while Matthew becomes an overbearing, obnoxious jerk.

    After arguing about a parking ticket Bill is locked up in a mental institution. While Dave and Catherine try to spring him, Lisa and Joe take over Bill's show leading Joe to adopt some outrageous on air tactics.

    Work at WNYX is disrupted by a noisy new upstairs neighbor driving Joe to retaliate. Also Catherine is offended by a new series of live on air ads featuring a street talking Bill.

    After an uninsured Matthew severely injures himself while playing games, Dave falsifies a worker's comp claim to cover his treatment. Unfortunately Jimmy smells a rat and sets out to uncover the truth. Meanwhile Bill endlessly editorializes about an offensive word he heard on the air.

    Daydreams plague staffers on an unbelievably hot day. Among others, Beth fantasizes that she's being stalked by Matthew, who's taking on horror movie guises; and Joe dreams he turned each of the staffers into androids.

    Bill's love for rap music turns to outrage when he hears the lyrics for the first time. Meanwhile Lisa has to deal with Catherine and Beth's jealousy when she is selected as New York's Cutest Radio Reporter.

    Bill's show the real deal is at risk of being cancelled. He meets Jerry Seinfeld at a restaurant and edits a taped interview which make Jerry look like a bad guy.

    Mr. James decides to run for President of the United States while Lisa declares to expose all of his secrets. Matthew grows a 70's style moustache to "get chicks".

    Beth replaces the sandwich vending machine in the office with an arcade game. Lisa and Dave retake the SAT, but the arcade game keeps Dave up the night before the test. Bill falls apart when he can't get his favorite sandwiches.

    Catherine and Beth compete for Jimmy's extra ticket to a Knicks game. James Caan talks to Bill to research for a movie role. Dave tries to buy Lisa a television.

    Episode 9
    When Beth comes into some money, she turns to Jimmy James for investing advice. Advice that Bill desperately wants to hear. Meanwhile after returning from vacation Matthew's new obsession for all things Japanese drives everyone crazy, while Lisa is shocked to hear that the staff thinks she can trade on her sexual relationship with Dave to get office supplies.moreless

    Episode 6
    Dave believes WNYX will overcome its jinx and finally win the local broadcasting awards. Matthew believes the office is infested with ants.
  • Massage Chair

    Mr. James makes Dave get rid of free snacks in the break room. Joe tries to win a date with Catherine by "rigging" useless things for her desk.
  • Rose Bowl
    Episode 15
    Jimmy realizes that the movie memorabilia he bought is fake, and has Joe help him sue the guy who sold it to him. Dave uses Lisa's idea to have members of the staff perform each others' performance review. Lisa gets mad at Dave because he didn't give her credit. Jimmy's lawsuit is going badly until he uses a secret phrase Joe knows that invariably causes judges to rule in your favor. After the staff shows their hatred of the peer performance reviews, Dave finally gives Lisa credit for the idea.moreless
