A charming and funny episode. Quon Le Robinson is ready to take the oath as a U.S. citizen. Her husband Mac is on cloud nine, but that may become cloud three or four as a unique complication arises in the middle of the ceremony. The conglomerate of extras is very funny in the collective role of everybody else waiting to get sworn in. The oath speech, not from your father’s civics class, is one most fans can recite from memory. It ends on a cheerful note that applies to the new citizens and the Robinsons as well: even in the most challenging times, stick together and have hope. A jewel in the crown of this famously quirky ensemble comedy.moreless
