  • David McCallum stars in a poorly-written tale of werewolves.

    McCallum, David Carradine and the other cast members phone in their performances in a silly werewolf tale with a "so what?" ending. I didn't see this episode when it first aired, but I really wish that I had. The writing is the weakest thing about this episode. If the bar was this low for television writing back then, I might well have tried to make it as a TV writer. As I've noted, the actors seem aware that the story that they're in is a poor one and don't try very hard. The direction is unremarkable. Night Gallery may have had its moments, but this episode isn't one of them.moreless
