    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • The name of the partnership is Davies and Milliken General Maintenance. Davies is the murdered partner. The two had been in business together for ten years.

      • There are three different daytime scenes in this episode including two at one of the murder victim's place of business and one at the jail.

      • We learn that Kevin's father is dead and was not wealthy at the time of his passing.

    • QUOTES (5)

      • (opening commentary)
Tom: We keep a death watch after death. It's a crazy business but an honorable one. Hell, somebody's got to bring us the bad news and tell us we really do these things to each other; lurid things too unspeakable to imagine. Boy kills father. It's as big a story now as it was in the days of Oedipus Rex. I wonder if they made Sophocles wait in the hall.

      • Elaine: Kevin. Kevin, where is his (murder suspect) lawyer?
Kevin: He said he didn't want one.
Elaine: Let's not blow this one an a technicality Kevin.
Kevin: We gave him his rights. Do you want a replay?

      • (while on stakeout)
Frank: Let's see, I got a glazed, I got an apple cinnamon, I got a jelly and I got a bear claw. Which one do you want?
Kevin: Give me the bear claw.
Frank: I wanted the bear claw.
Kevin: Then give me the glazed.
Frank: Did anybody ever tell you you're an easy guy to get along with?

      • Frank: Been here (prison) a hundred times and this place still spooks me.
Kevin: I think that's the general idea.

      • (closing commentary)
Tom: Two and a half million dollars worth of bonds. On the black market, maybe a million and a quarter in cash. But that wasn't the whole price. The men who planned the robbery paid with their lives. At least they knew what they were paying for. Cathy Davies was fifteen. Francy James had dreams about Paris and champagne. No one asked them if it was worth it. She loved him and she swore he was innocent. He was innocent. But what good is innocence if the blood won't wash away?
