With the exception of a website devoted to Sasika Garel (Jasmine/Singer) that showed support for the show, there wasn't any major fan sites or fandom formed for this series. Most small shows have at least one small fandom spot.

Had the show returned for a third year it was rumored characters such as the Black Knight and Zentare would become semi-regulars and form a crime fighting unit called the Nightforce alongside Nightman.

There was never an official reason given by Tribune, and or the producers for the show's cancellation. Jayne Heitmeyer (Briony) did state in a Starlog interview that it was due to low rates due to stations throwing it into the worst time slots.

The series ends with what is actually a clip show for most of the first half to highlight the rivalry between Keyes and the title character. Obviously this wasn't the intended grand finale and the producers likely planned for another season.
