Episode Summary

Percy calls the U.S. President, threatening to detonate a nuclear weapon unless the president meets his demands. Birkhoff tracks down two scientists who could help stop Percy's new nuclear satellite, so Nikita and Michael pursue one while Sean and Alex look for the other. Unfortunately, Alex and Sean find themselves in the spot that Percy decides to blows up as a demonstration of his power. Meanwhile, Nikita decides the best way to stop Percy is to go straight to Division itself.

Can you say plot holes?

I really enjoy this show. It's fun, action packed and usually fairly well written. But I really hate it when they have truly stupid huge holes in the plots and this one is full of them.

Here we have one satellite and one underground base against an entire nations military. But NOOOO they can't do anything. It has to be Nikita's team to the rescue. I get that the show is about them but please, this is just stupid.

The reasons behind why our military can't help are just lame. We can't because he could use the satellite before we could hit either the satellite or the base. Maybe the missile part (only because I don't know how fast and how secretly we could get a missile up there) but the rest is stupid. The part about not being able to hit the base with a bunker buster... yet they can climb right into the missile silo after using a small explosive to open the hatch no problem. Stupid. A bunker buster would rip right through it no problem. And since, as they said, the silo bypasses all the levels and takes them right to the server level the buster would take out the whole level. Problem solved.

Then there's the whole part about needing to use an explosive to destroy 3 motherboards. Plus Nikita doesn't even have the detonator?? Come on. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Nikita is standing there looking at the 3 motherboards but instead of just grabbing them, taking them out and stepping on them she has to place an explosive? Then run out and have MICHAEL blow them? Grrrrrrr, so frustrating.

Don't even get me started on the whole part about having just two guards watching the whole base top-side? Seriously? And why oh why would they even let them wake up? If its so crucial to keep them alive but out of the picture they should have been drugged and kept unconscious. Stupid!

Come on writers, you're better than this.moreless
