Episode Summary

Nikita decides that Division should accept a government mission to assassinate the President of Chad while he's in Paris, but Alex disagrees with the plan and refuses to be a part of the mission. Frustrated that Nikita is keeping secrets from the rest of the group, much like Percy did, Alex asks Birkoff to dig up secrets on Danforth to use as leverage in case the government tries to shut down Division. However, Alex and Birkhoff are stunned when they uncover a secret so big it could threaten Division's existence.

  • Jumping the shark? Nonsense!

    Jumping the shark? Nonsense!

A TV series that delves deeper into the characters' underlying psychology is most assuredly NOT jumping the shark. It is doing the OPPOSITE of jumping the shark.

A TV series jumps the shark when it stoops to gimmicky and superficial action sequences to compensate for a LACK of character development.

To accuse Nikita of jumping the shark because it delves DEEPER into the characters' underlying motivations is the exact opposite of the truth.

Worse, it is a confession that the viewer is too emotionally immature to appreciate psychological motivation, but only understands physical action.

No. Nikita is at least maintaining its original standards, if not getting better with age.moreless
  • Are you kidding me?

This series is jumping the shark, and each episode gets worse! What are the writers doing to this series?! It was a good action show, and now it's turning to a drama show. Characters are completely changed.
  • her body too sexy

    sexy sexy sexy
  • Alex vs Nikita

Ok so this mission wasn't bad, but Alex is right division is not the place to take mission good or bed.

But Alex was wrong with action against Davenport Nikita plan on this was the correct course of action and Alex was caught up in her anger side to see it.

I do agree people deserve the truth but blabbing like that could have cause a terrible blood shade and I'm not sure Alex thought about it or could've live with it.

I love the way they talk in the end, finally talk and Alex clear her attention hope now it will be back for them working together even though I'm not sure what the look in Nikita eyes in the end meansmoreless

    • Ryan: (referring to Percy) You know, he told me why he created the black boxes. It's quite a story. He was the hero, of course. His actions, the inevitable result of other people's shortsightedness.
      Nikita: Sounds like Percy.
Ryan: And I mocked him. Because he was so concerned about defending Division from outside forces that he completely missed the real threat. The one from within. (to Alex and Nikita) Now, hearing you guys argue last night, it reminded me of that conversation. Division can survive a lot. But not a war between the two of you.

    • Danforth: So what's your plan? You getting back into the mercenary business?
Nikita: We're going to finish the job that we promised the President we would do. We're gonna find rogue agents and we're gonna shut Division down. Until then, you're gonna stay out of our way, or every little dirty government secret will be exposed, including yours. You know, I can't tell whether you think you're a patriot or not, but I guarantee you don't want to go down as a traitor.
Danforth: I'd fit in to Division though, wouldn't I? A bunch of criminals that should have been taken out years ago.
Nikita: Yeah, we're criminals. We're the best trained, most highly armed, wired-in criminals in the world. Maybe you should have thought of that before you messed with us. Sweet dreams, Commander.

    • Amanda: (on the phone) Hello, Evan, my name is Amanda. We've never met, but I believe you're familiar with the organization I used to run.
Danforth: How did you get this number?
Amanda: I ran Division. Getting your number's the least difficult thing I've done in a decade.

    • Birkhoff: You have gotta tell me what happened in South Ossetia. Ever since you came back, you've been all, "I am Alex, hear me roar."
Alex: Birkhoff, you ever think maybe we're not changing Division? Maybe it's changing us?
Birkhoff: Every day. You know, say what you will about Percy. At least the guy was actively evil. He made a decision to cross the line; we just keep letting ourselves get pushed over it.

    • Nikita: Hey. You're quiet. (referring to the assassination mission) You okay with this?
Owen: I don't know. But if you're going, I'll be there to watch your back. I just never thought I'd be getting a kill order from you.

    • Alex: We're supposed to be cleaning this place up, Nikita, not making it dirty again.
Nikita: It's not like it was before. No one's holding a gun to anyone's head anymore. I have the gun now and I choose when and if I want to use it. It's under control.
Alex: As long as the government is calling the shots, we'll never be in control.
